Availability
Caring for animals fits naturally in my daily life. I work from home (8 AM-5 PM typically), and my errands typically last 1-4 hours. I can schedule my errands around your pet(s), or bring them with me if the weather is safe for a car ride. I'm open to walks, play time inside or outside, and sticking to your pets' normal schedule so they can feel as normal as possible while staying with me.

We have a safe community for walking dogs, as well as a fenced backyard. If I am running errands, I check cameras in our home (sound and video) to make sure your pup isn't overly stressed by themselves!

Information Natalie L. would like to know about your pet
How does your dog react when they hear or see people outside? How do they react to hearing/seeing dogs or cats? Do they hate having their paws touched? Maybe they get scared when people have hats on? Are they protective of their food? Every pet is unique and I want them to feel comfortable with me.
A typical day
I love to stimulate their brain and body! I first let them investigate all the new smells and get used to me. I don't pressure them to interact until they are comfortable. We'll take a walk or play outside to get used to each other, then come inside for a treat, likely followed by a well-deserved nap while I work. If your dog seems to miss you (as they should), I'll be sure to stop working and give them some distraction with play time, a walk, or snuggles. I also like to use lick mats and other enrichment toys to keep them occupied while working.

Pet care experience
I've cared for big and small dogs alike since I was 8 years old! I have a fenced backyard, spend most of my time at home, and only accept pets from one household at a time. I love boarding or house sitting because I don't have any pets of my own. I take pride in understanding dog behavior and body language so I can provide the best care for your pet. I'm comfortable caring for diverse breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I would be the primary caretaker for your pets, but my husband (Andrew) sometimes helps out if the dog is comfortable with him. As a police officer, he's the best emergency contact you could ask for! You should consider booking with me if: - you want a sitter who loves each dog for their uniqueness - your dog does not get along with other dogs, cats, or children - you want someone who can be home with your pet most of the time - you are trying Rover for the first time - you are looking for someone to add to your rotation of trusted sitters I might not be the best fit if: - your pup needs to go out every 2 hours or less - you need someone who is home 24/7

Thank you so much

Awesome as always!

Natalie was so great with our 3 larger dogs who have big personalities! She had excellent communication with me throughout their stay and sent lots of photos / videos. Would definitely book with her again

Great experience so far! She communicates well, sends updates, and takes good care of Maple. We appreciate her patience as Maple adjusts.
