“Very kind. Great commutator. I will definitely use her again. My dog really seemed to like her stay there. Love that this Rover individual takes my dog on walks and interacts with her!”

“We had the pleasure of having Jillian as our dog sitter for nearly two weeks, and we couldn't be happier with her service. She provided outstanding care for our beloved Max, who seemed to have the time of his life under her watch. Jillian kept us updated with photos and videos of Max all along. Jillian's dedication to Max's well-being was evident from the start. She was attentive to his needs, ensuring he was well-fed, exercised, and, most importantly, loved. Her daily updates were a comforting touch that kept us connected to Max while we were away. Her professionalism and genuine love for animals shine through in her work. We returned to a happy, healthy pup who had clearly formed a strong bond with Jillian. It's not just about watching over a pet; it's about creating a nurturing environment, and Jillian does this flawlessly. We highly recommend Jillian to any pet owner who wants peace of mind when they can't be with their furry family member. She's truly a gem, and Max is already looking forward to his next stay with her!”

“Lorraine and family were so great with Chloe they sent plenty of pics and videos to keep me updated even when we had a lil hiccup of me not sending enough pads Lorraine was able to fix it . I will be booking again !”

“Savannah and her family were absolutely wonderful with our Sadie. They treated Sadie like their very own pup and member of the family!! When we went to get Sadie after her stay, she walked back inside. We adore Savannah and she is now our go-to pet sitter. Thank you for all the love you showed Sadie!!”

“Kiki has stayed with Anna twice in the past four months and has had a great time. Anna’s dog is very playful and the two enjoyed playing together. Anna communicated regularly during both stays. We look forward to boarding Kiki with her again soon.”

“Our pup had an amazing stay with Emmanuel, had a lot of fun and play time with the pack! Emmanuel sent us photos and videos and took a great care of Snape. Highly recommend and will definitely use again!”

“Kyle had a wonderful time with Diane. He is a 2 yo border collie and entertaining him is no small feat but Diane kept him happy with lots of frisbee and yard time! She has the cutest front yard that is fenced for dogs. She is kind and dog knowledgeable. Kyle is giving a 5 paw rating 🐶”

“Maria & Kenneth were wonderful with our dog! They are both very kind. Bogey was well cared for, and we got lots of updates which always made our day while we were away :) Thank you!”

“My dog's are like my kids. They are very important to me and my wife so we were a little hesitant at first but after meeting with Angie we both had a very good feeling. It's apparent that she cares for dogs and I would definitely use her services again (as well as DogVacay). In addition we really looked forward to getting the pictures she sent every couple of days.”

“We are repeat clients of Deandra’s. She has care for our fur baby at least 4 times now and we are always so happy with the care she provides. Chloe’s always in such great condition when we go to pick her up and so happy when we drop her off we can barely hold her back from jumping over the gate to get into the yard. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent dog sitter.”
“The most lovely person you will ever meet. My dog Bentleyis used to being with me all day and definitely has separation anxiety, but at no point ( from meet &greet to pick up) was I ever worried that he is not loved or well taken care of. Katherine and her family were not only very welcoming and super friendly but they integrated my boy in their lives and seemed excited to have him. I am so grateful to have found such an amazing petsitter and can only highly recommend to anyone”

“Beatriz was absolutely AMAZING when it came to taking care of my little Niko! She and her husband were so sweet and kind to him. I was a little nervous leaving Niko overnight for the first time with someone outside of my family. But Beatriz sent me pics and video to show me that Niko was doing ok, and he was comfortable in her home. Niko instantly seemed at ease and happy running around her beautiful backyard, and inside of her home. I quickly felt that Niko was in great and caring hands with Beatriz and her husband. I will absolutely book her again😊😊😊”

“Leaving my 2 larger dogs with Savannah & Zack gave me such peace of mind. My dogs’ every need were more than met. Zack allowed the German Shepherd to hang with him as he worked from home. And after Savannah spent her day with a classroom full of needy children she still had time to play with the Golden Retriever and allow him to be her shadow. Good people who have a heart for dogs. Thanks so much you two. ♥️”

“They took such amazing care of my pup!! They were excellent about communication, sending pictures, and really treated her as their own. Would definitely recommend and will surely use them next time!”

“Our small dogs had not been away from us since 2020, and one of them was quite skittish and sad. Jennifer was very patient and managed to get him back to normal eating, going out and feeling comfortable in her home! She also did a great job with giving our other dog his meds! I was somewhat anxious to leave our dogs for a short vacation, but Jennifer worked hard to make it a success and we will definitely have them visit Jennifer in the future!”

About: I’m a mom to 4 rambunctious children and 1 kid friendly chihuahua(14) and 1 loving husky pit mix(1). When most people meet my dog they are surprised at how friendly he is and how good he is with our young children. We used to have two dogs but we had to put older one down due to seizures and brain issues. In high school I worked in an army veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant for a cooperative work experience program. My original plan in life was to be a veterinarian but after having to assist with some tough cases I decided just being a good pet owner and caregiver was more my speed. I’m a full time stay at home mom and love playing with my dogs and kids in my spare time. I’d love to help you care for your fur baby as well. I’m pretty flexible. I’m home days once I get my kids get off to school during the day. In the evenings and on weekends I take them to their respective practices or games but that doesn’t mean I don’t have time to care for and give your fur baby some love as well. I like to take my fur babies for about a mile walk in the morning and then my younger pup will go on another half mile walk with me in the after noon. My older guys stays home and chills but he gets lots of love and snuggles at home.
“Coco left a very happy dog! I plan to utilize this family regularly. So happy my dog had kids and another dog to play with— not to mention a yard to play in. Thank you so much for the excellent service!”

“Julie was amazing with Astro! She made him feel so comfortable during our meet and greet before our booking. I accidentally chose the wrong date for the booking and Julie was completely understanding and kind. During Astro’s boarding, she loved on him and sent us updates throughout the day. Book with her!”

About: Because I would spend time and care for your babies just as they were mine. Animals are my soft spot and I tend to always fall in love with other people babies. Well it fits well since me and the kids are home majority of the time. So we can all share the responsibility of your love one. I care for them the same as the owner would care for their pets. Feed, walk and make sure to give them a lot of play time.

Kimberly and her husband are super loving and caring, and we’ve felt at such ease having Noodle stay with them. They offered a meet and greet before to help Noodle be at ease before she comes to stay with them, and it helped all parties make sure it’s the right alignment. My husband and I so appreciative of them!! Thank you!

Kelly was amazing to our sweet Lollie! She kept us updated, and sent videos and pictures. Great communication! She and her pup Gracie gave our dog so much comfort and confidence- they’re now bestest of friends! Will absolutely be looking forward to booking Kelly again!

Our girl, Sparkles, truly enjoyed her stay with Lesley. She was treated like one of the family, had a great time playing with Lesley’s dogs, and I was sent lots of photos of Sparkles enjoying herself. :) I also loved the idea that Lesley was home most of the day so my girl didn’t have to feel nervous about staying home alone in a house she was unfamiliar with. Thanks, Lesley!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
