âJulie was absolutely amazing! I had a few unexpected delays the day of drop-off, and she was incredibly accommodating and understanding despite the late timing. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and made sure Snuggles felt comfortable right away. Although we werenât able to do a full meet and greet beforehand due to my schedule, Julie took the time to do a quick introduction before I left, which gave me immediate peace of mind. She kept me updated throughout the stay with photos and messages, which I truly appreciated. Snuggles has a specific routine, and Julie followed everything exactly as requested. It meant so much to know she was in such caring and capable hands. Julie is kind, professional, and genuinely loves what she does. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate sitter. She is the best!â

âSavannah and her family welcomed my Diamond with open arms from start to finish. We went out of town for a wedding and this was my first time trying anyone on this app, so I was truly skeptical. I usually take her to the boarding companies but they never give her the care she truly needs. But Savannah did and my Diamond loved her family! I will be letting my Diamond stay with her again and again and again. She sent pictures and kept in contact the whole time we were out of town which put us at ease, she even gave my Diamond a bath! She understood the assignment. Please book with her! We have literally just developed a new friend!â

âSavannah and her husband were great watching my goldendoodle! They took him on daily walks and kept us updated each day. Thanks so much for loving on our Willard while we were on vacation.â

âIt was nice to leave and feel comfortable with who we left our baby girl with. I received pictures during her stay and she appeared to be smiling in each one of them. She came home a happy, exhausted pup.â

âKatherine was wonderful with our goldendoodle! I felt fully comfortable and confident leaving him with her and her family for the weekend. She was commutative and shared updates each day! We are very grateful she loved on our Willard and canât wait to use her again.â

âTycilea took amazing care of my dog! She is super sweet and very accommodating. I felt at ease knowing my dog was in such great hands. She constantly kept me updated and had amazing communication. If you ever need someone donât hesitate to book her! I will definitely be booking her again.â

âCoco left a very happy dog! I plan to utilize this family regularly. So happy my dog had kids and another dog to play withâ not to mention a yard to play in. Thank you so much for the excellent service!â

âMy dog had a great time at Jennieâs - nice bid yard where she was able to spend time outside. Jennie seems to have a lot of experience with different types of dogs and their characters. My dog wasnât very friendly with her cat but she handled it very well and it sounded like her cat also was a pro at dealing with many types of dogsâ

âJennifer was amazing with my 5.5month old puppy. He is high energy and it was his first time away from home in a new place and Jennifer made sure to care for him while he was adjusting. She sent me regular updates with pictures as well. I recommend her and we will definitely use her services againâ

âBeatriz was absolutely AMAZING when it came to taking care of my little Niko! She and her husband were so sweet and kind to him. I was a little nervous leaving Niko overnight for the first time with someone outside of my family. But Beatriz sent me pics and video to show me that Niko was doing ok, and he was comfortable in her home. Niko instantly seemed at ease and happy running around her beautiful backyard, and inside of her home. I quickly felt that Niko was in great and caring hands with Beatriz and her husband. I will absolutely book her againđđđâ

âLeft my dog with Deandra for first time. Iâd say she went the extra mile with him in his care for his needs. She has open yard space for the dogs to play. It felt like a doggy day care/ dog park so he was well entertained with the other dogs. Iâd def recommend her.â

About: Iâm a mom to 4 rambunctious children and 1 kid friendly chihuahua(14) and 1 loving husky pit mix(1). When most people meet my dog they are surprised at how friendly he is and how good he is with our young children. We used to have two dogs but we had to put older one down due to seizures and brain issues. In high school I worked in an army veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant for a cooperative work experience program. My original plan in life was to be a veterinarian but after having to assist with some tough cases I decided just being a good pet owner and caregiver was more my speed. Iâm a full time stay at home mom and love playing with my dogs and kids in my spare time. Iâd love to help you care for your fur baby as well. Iâm pretty flexible. Iâm home days once I get my kids get off to school during the day. In the evenings and on weekends I take them to their respective practices or games but that doesnât mean I donât have time to care for and give your fur baby some love as well. I like to take my fur babies for about a mile walk in the morning and then my younger pup will go on another half mile walk with me in the after noon. My older guys stays home and chills but he gets lots of love and snuggles at home.
âThis is the first time we have used River and Flavia was nothing short of exceptional. We usually have family members or neighbors take care of my babies but it wasnât possible this time around. Flavia picked up my pups which was super helpful. She sent me videos of them to make sure I knew they were having fun. Flavia was understanding and willing to go the extra mile to make my pups feel at home. I will definitely be using Flavia again and I recommend her to anyone who is on the fence about using Rover to find a dog sitter! Thank you Flavia!â

âANDY and his kids are great with animals! My Nunu is very shy and they were accomplished in handling her and making her feel happy away from home. The nice sized back yard was a huge plus too!â
âMegan did an amazing job watching our dog! She sent us daily updates with photos and had great communication throughout the entire stay. Our dog loved it over there.â

About: If there's a cat or dog at a party, you'll probably find me sitting on the floor making friends with them. As a cat mom to three torties [a kitten and two seniors] animals are a huge part of my life. I genuinely love getting to know each pet's personality and earning their trust. From playful kittens and puppies to sweet senior pets, I have experience caring for animals of all ages, including administering medication when needed. I'll care for your pet with the same love and attention I give my own. đ¤ I am flexible and can accommodate timing to your pets schedule. Whether they need a morning drop-in, a midday walk, or a full playtime session, I can tend to your fur baby's needs. Upon greeting them, I provide full attention to your pet. I will give them play time, cuddles, and any designated meals or medications. I ensure they feel secure and calm while their loved one is away.

âAna did a great job taking care of our dog Kiki while we did some home renovations. Kiki clearly enjoyed playing with her dog Carmelo and felt right at home. Ana sent photos and stayed in close communication. Kiki is looking forward to returning in May for another stay.â

âMaria and Ken were both very very amazing. They are extremely friendly, have a beautiful and clean home, and a mini doodle themselves. Communication was perfect, we got photos and videos of Leo, and he was clearly very happy there! I would definitely have them look after Leo again, without question.â

Lina was an amazing pet sitter! She was incredibly communicative throughout the entire stay, keeping me updated with messages and photos that gave me so much peace of mind. I highly recommend Lina to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and attentive pet sitter. I would absolutely book with her again!

Savannah was fantastic! She took excellent care of our dog and kept us updated every day with pictures, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. HIGHLY RECOMMENDâŁď¸âŁď¸âŁď¸âŁď¸ Words canât express how grateful we are for Kimberly M. for the expert care she provided for our dog Chewie. Kimberly sent daily photos with updates on Chewieâs stay. She treated him with love and kindness and it was evident when we picked him up and he was happy, calm, well fed and well cared for. She made it possible to go away and feel comfortable leaving our senior/needy dog behind. We truly appreciate Kimberly and hope she will be able to watch Chewie in the future. đ

Marissa was an excellent dog sitter. She communicated very well before the sit, asking thoughtful and pertinent questions to make sure she understood Tonyâs needs and routine. Throughout the experience, she was caring, attentive, and clearly invested in his well-being. I felt completely comfortable knowing Tony was in good hands. I would definitely use Marissa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Roverâs reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
