Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work a 9 to 5 job, Monday through Friday, and my roommate is home until 1 PM, so dogs are typically only alone for about 4 hours during the day. Outside of work, I spend a lot of time at home, and my routine is very calm and consistent, which helps dogs settle in and feel comfortable.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety always comes first. I’m calm, attentive, and I watch body language so I can keep dogs comfortable and prevent issues before they start. I follow your routines, feeding instructions, and any rules you have at home or for walks. Trust matters to me. I keep you updated, and make sure you always know how your pet is doing. My healthcare background helps because clear communication and noticing the little things are already part of my day to day. The environment here in my home is quiet and relaxed with no kids and no chaos. Most dogs settle in quickly. If your pup needs their own space, I can set up a separate room with their bed or crate.

Information Kelly G. would like to know about your pet
I like to know anything that helps me give your pet the best, safest, most comfortable care. Things like: ** Do they stay in a crate when left alone or do they free roam? • Daily routine. Meal times, walk times, nap habits, the little quirks that make them… them. • Personality. Shy, social, goofy, anxious, velcro, independent. All of it helps. • Any reactivity or triggers. Doorbells, other dogs, loud noises, mail trucks, squirrels with attitudes 🐿️ • How they feel about kids, cats, other dogs, and new people. • Feeding details. What they eat, how much, any food guarding, and any “absolutely do not feed this” rules. • Medical needs. Meds, allergies, mobility issues, sensitive stomach, anything important. • House rules. Couch or no couch. Bed or no bed. Favorite spots. Things they shouldn't get into. • Anything that makes them feel extra safe and loved. A bedtime routine, a favorite toy, a specific way they like to be approached or cuddled. The more I know, the smoother and happier the stay is for everyone ❤️🐾
A typical day
A typical day is really your dog’s typical day. I follow the schedule they’re used to as much as possible. If they eat at certain times, go out at certain times, nap after meals, or have a specific nighttime routine, I keep that in place. Within their normal rhythm, I add in whatever they enjoy. If your dog loves walks, we do those. If they like toys, we play. If they’re happy go lucky and social, they can join me on little outings with your approval. If they’re more relaxed and cuddly, we keep things calm and cozy. The day is predictable, comfortable, and tailored to them. They get their routine, their pace, and the activities that make them happiest.

Pet care experience
I’ve worked with dogs for many years in professional daycare and boarding, and I foster through rescue, so I’ve gotten to know every kind of dog. The shy ones who need slow trust. The seniors who need gentle walks and steady routines. Puppies who need patience and consistency. Big goofy dogs who want to be in your lap no matter their size. I love meeting each dog where they are and giving them exactly what helps them feel safe. I also work in the healthcare field, so detailed updates and regular check ins are just part of who I am. You’ll never be left wondering how your fur baby is doing. I send real, meaningful updates so you always feel connected and at ease. My home is calm and cozy. No kids, no chaos. It’s a great setup for dogs who need structure or a quieter environment. If a dog prefers their own space, I have a dedicated room where they can relax with their bed or crate. I pay attention to body language, follow routines closely, and make sure your dog’s day feels predictable and comforting. And for the happy go lucky confident pups, they slide right into the family vibe here. They’ll join me on little adventures, outings, or fun activities if you approve. They get to be part of whatever I’m doing and they usually love it. I take care of every pet like they’re my own. Warmth, patience, and real attention. Your pet will feel safe and loved, and you’ll feel confident the whole time they’re with me.
