“Emmanuel is the best! I got so many pictures and videos of my boys having the best time. After a very negative experience with another sitter, I was nervous to leave my dogs with anyone, but Emmanuel did a fantastic job and I could tell my dogs became a part of his family. I would not hesitate to use him again.”

“We recently boarded our dog, Chaithu with Yuliia, while we were out of town, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, she was incredibly communicative and made us feel at ease leaving Chaithu in her care. She sent us regular updates, including photos and little notes about how he was doing, which we really appreciated. She is responsible, caring and awesome!”

About: I grew up in a true zoo of a household! Over the years I’ve cared for dogs, cats, pigeons, parrots, and even squirrels — so animals have always been a natural part of my life. That experience gave me a deep understanding of different animal personalities, needs, and behaviors. Your dog won’t just be watched — they’ll be cared for by someone who genuinely grew up speaking their language! On request, we can provide boiled chicken/white/brown rice/eggs . As a work-from-home professional, my dogs are basically my personal trainers! I hit 20,000 steps every single day — and I outsourced that job entirely to my pups. They keep me active, on schedule, and honestly, way healthier than any gym membership ever could. Your dog won’t be sitting around waiting for a walk — they’ll be joining my daily adventure, every single day. All Dogs are let out between 6 to 8 am and 9-10 pm, in addition to other walks across the day. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. All pets are required to have an Apple AirTag before their stay — if they don’t have one, I’ll provide one so they’re always traceable. My property is fenced, giving dogs the freedom to roam safely off-leash. Any walks outside the property are always on leash, no exceptions. The entire property is also monitored with security cameras 24/7, so you can have complete peace of mind knowing your furry family member is safe and accounted for at all times.
“This was our first booking with Teresa and we will absolutely book her again! I appreciated her updates with photos and videos. Our girls felt right at home and were so happy with all of the extra attention.”

“It's clear that animals are loved and valued in Morgan's home. Dennis had tons of fun playing and walking, and he was very well cared. We would love for Morgan to board our pup again next time the need arises!”

“Megha was so wonderful! She cuddled with Frankie and was totally attentive. And we so appreciated all the detailed updates she gave us about Frankie’s day. Highly recommend ❤️”

“Deimante and Deividas took amazing care of our 3 dogs including an elderly one with special needs. We were able to travel knowing our dogs were in great hands. I highly recommend them!”

“Another great stay here. I know that my dog is taken well cared for while she is there. This is most important to me as my little girl is so old now. Great communication and very good sitter. Thank you!”

“Arya was great! I was super nervous to try boarding our dogs for the first time as my partners parents used to watch them prior to moving out of state, but she was great and often sent pictures and videos of them during their stay!”

“This is the second time we are using Michael. Daffy loves to stay there and hang with his 2 dogs. She had no issues at all. I think we found our sitter whenever we need somebody. Thank you for taking care of her. Sandra and Filip”
“Nikki was amazing! She was super flexible and was even able to drop off my dog at our house the day we returned from our trip. She gave me constant updates and sent photos of Asher playing with the other pups! He was very well taken care of and we will definitely use her again!”

“Alfonso does a great job taking care of our lab. This is the third time we’ve boarded our girl with Alfonso and his family and we’re very satisfied with the level of care and communications received each time. Highly recommend Alfonso.”

“Jennifer has been amazing with our new puppy— we used her for overnight boarding when he was just 3 months old. And just this week, she helped us again with a one day stay including picking him up and dropping him off at our home!! We would definitely recommend Jennifer an plan to have our Charlie stay with her again in the future!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Milton
Mary and Dylan were great with my cat Eevee. They kept me updated with her pictures and also made sure to update me with regards to how she was doing. Eevee is a shy cat and they were extremely patient + made great efforts to make her feel comfortable and play with her. Truly appreciate the care with which Eevee was taken care of :)

Sara has taken wonderful care of our older dog Bucky in two occasions in the past year. She administered his meds, brushed his teeth, fed him according to my instructions, and sent frequent updates with photos and videos. Bucky did not want to leave her house, and clearly felt like he was always at home with her. She was also very flexible about pick up time when we returned from our trip the weekend of the ice storm. We will always book with Sara in the future now that our dog has a second home!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
