Dogs are free to lounge on couches and sleep comfortably in bedrooms at night — never isolated unless requested. 🌳 Large Fenced Backyard + Flexible Potty Access We have a ~1-acre secure fenced yard and a doggy door. If your dog prefers regular door breaks instead, that’s perfectly fine — I’m home and happy to let them out as often as needed. 💛 Attentive, Stay-at-Home Care I’m home the majority of the day aside from school drop-offs and quick errands. Your dog will not be left alone for long stretches. Meals and medications are always given on time. 🚶♀️ Walks & Enrichment Weather permitting, we go on walks and provide play, affection, and structured downtime. 🌱 Chemical-Free Yard Our grass is not treated with pesticides or harsh chemicals — a safe environment for sensitive paws and tummies. ⸻ 🐱 About Cats We have cats on the property, but they are fully separated from guest dogs. Dogs have exclusive access to the main house and backyard. For dogs who are comfortable around cats, supervised introductions can be discussed — but separation is the default. Sara has taken wonderful care of our older dog Bucky in two occasions in the past year. She administered his meds, brushed his teeth, fed him according to my instructions, and sent frequent updates with photos and videos. Bucky did not want to leave her house, and clearly felt like he was always at home with her. She was also very flexible about pick up time when we returned from our trip the weekend of the ice storm. We will always book with Sara in the future now that our dog has a second home!

My golden and lab had a terrific time at Sara’s house with her and her girls while our family was away for four days. I never had to worry about them and they were happy and healthy when I arrived to pick them up. From our initial meet-and-greet I knew Sara had a sweet and friendly demeanor and care for animals. She kept me informed on how my dogs were doing while we were away and even let me pick them up ahead of schedule since our flight got in early. She was extremely responsive every time I sent her a message. Thank you, Sara!

We were looking for boarding last minute for a night and so happy to have Sara take care of our lab. Thank you, Sara, especially for being flexible with our pickup time! Our Georgie had fun with your cute cats as well :)
Sara was awesome with our dog. She made it feel like home and sent updates and pictures. Bindi was clearly well taken care of.

Schedule
Besides taking my kids to school and running errands, I’m always home. I can care for your fur baby all day. We also let the dogs sleep in the bedrooms at night so they aren’t alone.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard and a doggie door. We don’t have to use the doggie door if you prefer we don’t. We also live in a ranch home so if your dog can’t use the stairs, don’t worry, we can manage!
A typical day
We can go on walks, play fetch, and play chase depending on what your dog also likes to do! We have a larger fenced in yard if they like to go outside and hunt squirrels and rabbits and lizards.
