I put boarding in quotations because quite honestly, our dog got to be part of Charity’s family for the week, and it probably felt more like a spa and playful summer camp to our dog than boarding. We usually send our dog to stay with family or friends the one time per year we actually get to leave town. So we were anxious sending her off via Rover for our first time. Charity is super sweet, kind, clearly loves animals, and definitely knows how to handle them. Our anxieties were immediately at ease when we met her and her family. She further eased them with daily photo updates, and she even wiped our dog’s eyes with warm towels due to some allergies! Ya’ll, this dog had it better during boarding than she did on our farm. Our dog is a husky and though pretty chill for that breed, I’m 100% confident in Charity and trusting in all her abilities to handle and care for any pup. She loved on our dog like it was her own. She also was very flexible when our flight home was delayed and we had to extend an additional night. We certainly recommend her and would definitely use her again.”

About: If you need assistance with walks, drop-in visits, or at-home care, I am exicted for it all! I have been around animals my whole life and have a great amount of love for our furry (and not so furry) friends. I am comfortable administering medications and transporting pets; if they love a particular park or crave a ride in the car, I am happy to go! I have had dogs in all shapes and sizes, ranging from chi-mixes up through great white pyrenees. I have had nearly every experience with a cat that you can have, from hand-rearing orphaned kittens to coaxing scared cats off of roofs, and can't imagine your cat can throw any surprises my way! With overnight stays, I bring my dog along that is cat, dog, and miscellaneous pet-friendly. Many of his best friends are sitting clients :) If you (or your pet) would prefer I not bring him to your home, let’s have a conversation and see if I can still meet your pet care needs! I work as a mobile pet groomer, so I have plenty of time to drop in throughout the day to spend time with your pets or take them on a walk. My flexible schedule also allows me to leave your pet for no more than 2-4 hours if they need that level of care. From the time I dropped him off, no matter the questions I had, Richard always responded in a timely manner. I absolutely loved the daily updates as well-seeing him play, interact and make new friend really did my heart good. The funniest thing is that once home, he slept good for 2 days....wore himself out! I don't have trips planned for the balance of the year, yet I do plan on booking time with Richard for daycare, so that my boy can stay social and make some more friends! Thank you Richard for everything!”
“Charity and her family are awesome humans. This was our first time “boarding” our dog. I put boarding in quotations because quite honestly, our dog got to be part of Charity’s family for the week, and it probably felt more like a spa and playful summer camp to our dog than boarding. We usually send our dog to stay with family or friends the one time per year we actually get to leave town. So we were anxious sending her off via Rover for our first time. Charity is super sweet, kind, clearly loves animals, and definitely knows how to handle them. Our anxieties were immediately at ease when we met her and her family. She further eased them with daily photo updates, and she even wiped our dog’s eyes with warm towels due to some allergies! Ya’ll, this dog had it better during boarding than she did on our farm. Our dog is a husky and though pretty chill for that breed, I’m 100% confident in Charity and trusting in all her abilities to handle and care for any pup. She loved on our dog like it was her own. She also was very flexible when our flight home was delayed and we had to extend an additional night. We certainly recommend her and would definitely use her again.”
