“We had Mackenzie watch Jasmine and Rudy for a day, as a trial for a longer stay later on. We are super happy with both Mackenzie's care for the doggos and also her responsiveness and communication with us. She followed our instructions thoroughly, kept us updated, and responded promptly when we reached out. Thank Mackenzie!”

“This was my first time leaving my babies Maggie and Milo for a trip and I was absolutely terrified of it. I was very worried about Maggie in particular because she has separation anxiety and doesn’t warm up to strangers. When Elizabeth saw that Maggie wouldn’t eat whatsoever, she went to the store and bought some food that helped with her appetite. She even took Milo to the vet since nobody else could take him and began administering his meds. I struck gold with Elizabeth who went above and beyond to gain their trust and take care of them. She also did all she could to reassure me and has won my trust. She took such good care of my dogs and I highly recommend her. Definitely will be having her dog sit my babies again when necessary!”

“He sent daily photo updates and always responded quickly about the dogs. They seemed happy and like themselves when I came back , which is a great sign since one of my dogs doesn’t do well with change. Highly recommend and will book again when needed.”

“My wife and I had the opportunity to take a 3 1/2 week trip out of the country. We weren’t sure what to do with our fur babies because it was too long to put either of them in a kennel. We looked at Rover‘s website and found Jenna who agreed to watch our fur babies in our home for the duration of our trip. Our beagle is a rescue who has a number of special needs due to abuse as a puppy. Jenna did a wonderful job of watching both our beagle and our kitty cat for the time we were gone. It’s obvious Jenna loves animals and we will certainly book her again if we ever need to leave town for an extended period. We highly recommend Jenna as that only a pet sitter, but a house sitter as well.”

“Taylor was great with Henry! She sent us daily updates and was an excellent house guest. It was clear from the pictures that Henry was enjoying his new friend while we were gone. Will be using Taylor again for our next trip!”

“Lucca was delightful with Willoughby, and she played outside with him — his favorite thing. She was accommodating about a last minute booking. I hope to request her if she’s willing and available.”

“Susane is an absolute jewel. I got daily pictures. Meggy was consistently spoiled: given massages and walks daily, cuddled and snuggled throughout the day and night. When we got back, Meggy is almost disappointed because she’s not getting showered with constant love all day, every single minute. Very highly recommended Susane if you want someone that is going to love your pet as their own pet.”

“I had the pleasure of meeting and using MyQueisha’s services twice. She really is patient and loving with my dog and treats him as a member of her family. Highly recommend”

“Chelsea was absolutely amazing! I couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch my puppy. I loved how intentional she was with her. She took the time to play with her and give her lots of attention but she also took her to meet and socialize with other dogs which I really appreciated. She kept me updated every day and sent me pictures of how cute and happy my puppy was which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Even when my puppy got a little sick Chelsea was so attentive and made sure she was okay. She kept an eye on her and was there to care for her every step of the way. You can truly tell that Chelsea cares about the animals she watches and treats them like her own. I felt completely comfortable knowing my little one was in her care. I would absolutely have Chelsea watch her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy caring and intentional with their pets!”

“Our 2 dogs had such a great time with Elizabeth and Mazi! She sent pictures every day and we were able to enjoy our time away without worrying about anything with the house or the dogs!”

“Amanda took such amazing care of our babies while we were away. We have never seen our pets so happy, comfortable and well looked after before! She is proactive in communicating and quick to respond if asked anything. She even cleaned the house before she left! Amanda’s years of experience clearly showing her expert level of care, immense attention to detail, and her love for animals while maintaining a friendly and supportive amount of communication while you’re away from your pets. If we could give more than 5 stars we would!”

“Savannah was very accommodating and quick to respond. I have.a quirky, high maintenance dog and Savannah did a great job taking care of him and my house. I would definitely hire her again.”

“Kate is the best! Our dogs were so comfortable with her and she sent so many updates— we never worried for a second! She left our house spotless and with happy dogs! Will definitely use Kate for house/pet sitting again.”

“Aby was incredible with Luna! She was extremely well cared for while I was out of town and made sure to send updates and pictures! We will happily have her back. Luna made a new friend!”

“Cathy is an absolute gem. From the first meeting with her we knew she would be a perfect fit for our girls. Her love for animals truly shows through when she takes care of Bella and Mia. Being Italian Greyhounds, they can be a bit on the quirky side, but she took it in stride. Her updates and pictures through out the day are above par for any sitter we have had. Looking forward to having Cathy house sit for us again soon.”

About: Hi my name is Passion! Caring for animals isn’t just what I do—it’s apart of who I am. I’ve been surrounded by pets my entire life, from dogs and cats to the occasional rat or fish tank adventure. Growing up in a home full of furry (and sometimes feathery) friends taught me compassion, responsibility, and how to read animals’ unique personalities and needs. I’ve volunteered at the Atlanta Humane Society for over 6 months, where I gained hands-on experience working with pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments in addition to Lifeline Animal Shelter. I also previously worked at PetSmart helping pet parents find everything from the right nutrition to the perfect toy. To top it all off, my mom owns a dog grooming business as well!—so professional pet care has been part of my daily life for as long as I can remember. We also previously owned and operated a dog-treat business where we were successful in getting shelving writhing boutique pet care retailers. Whether it’s a long walk (I think I may love getting my steps in even more than our friends with four legs haha), a cuddle session, or reliable overnight care, your pets will be in safe, loving, and experienced hands with me. I treat every pet like family—and I mean that furrrreal! Bonus: My partner is a Veterinary Technician! I work a hybrid work schedule so I am grateful for the privilege of flexibility and tailoring my schedule around any personal needs or additional assistance that I provide. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Because I work from home in a calm, quiet environmentally, I’m able to provide constant supervision and personalized care throughout the day. I carefully monitor each pet’s behavior, ensure they have a secure and stress-free space, and tailor their routine to their unique needs. Whether it’s sticking to feeding schedules, administering medication, or keeping walks controlled and safe, I make sure every detail is handled with attention and love.

I highly recommend Lucca as a pet sitter. She exceeded all of my expectations and provided exceptional care for my dog, Pablo. Throughout her stay, she made sure he was fed on time, kept me updated with photos, and consistently communicated with me, giving me complete peace of mind. It’s rare to find someone you can truly trust with your pet, and Lucca is one of those people. Beyond being incredibly reliable and attentive, she has such a kind and positive energy. I not only found a trustworthy pet sitter, but also gained a friend. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.

She followed our instructions thoroughly, kept us updated, and responded promptly when we reached out. Thank Mackenzie!

Crystal was wonderful with Ernie and Daisy! She was conscientious, on time, clean, and clearly a true dog lover. Daisy can be a little nervous with new people, but she warmed up to Crystal just fine, which says a lot. Crystal sent photo updates, made us feel comfortable while we were away, and we’d definitely book her again. Highly recommend!

Ciara took great care of our three dogs when we went out of town for 5 days. We have two 2 year old high energy corgis and a 6 month old Great Pyrenees puppy who looks like a full grown dog, but acts like a spoiled toddler! Collectively they are a challenge. She did a great job managing the herd, keeping order in the house and communicating with us. We would definitely ask Ciara to stay with our pups again.

Callia was great. She came by for a meet and greet a couple of weeks before her stay. For her overnight stay, she was on time and sent updates periodically so I knew my dog was ok. It was such a relief having her here while I was away. Highly recommend. Will definitely use her again!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Milton walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Milton maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Milton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
