I have a very flexible work schedule and can make time to care for and love on your pets. I am not currently a pet owner, as I had to say goodbye to my last dog after 18 1/2 years. I miss her and look forward to spending quality time with your pet.

When I dog sit, I try to follow routine as closely as possible. I know pets get anxious when their owners are away and I try to occupy and keep their mind on something else by walking, playing and talking with them as much as possible.

What social behaviors are you working on that I can help you with. Does your pet like to greet other dogs on a walk or should we cross the street?
A typical day
I love to be outside and can take your dog on extra long walks or just sit outside together getting fresh air. I love for pets to show me their favorite toys and can play with them. I also love to brush a dog to keep matting away or make a pretty up-do!

Pet care experience
I have always had dogs and have enjoyed their companionship. I grew up with Irish setters and have owned Labradors and Shih Tzus over the years. I have experience with dog training as well as senior dogs and dogs with disabilities. I have even owned cats and hamsters.

As always Diane is the best! She helped us with a house issue while we were boarding the plane which went above and beyond the great care she takes of our animals!
Diane is a wonderful pet sitter! She takes such great care of our animals, is so responsive, trustworthy and respectful of our home. She sends daily updates and notices changes in our animals behavior and will check in with us to make sure all is ok. We are grateful to have found her.
Diane is amazing! She took such wonderful care of our two dogs and cat. She was very communicative and sent us regular updates. She even stayed longer when our flight was extremely delayed and made sure we were going to be able to make it home. We hope she will want to take care of them again in the future!
