“Shirley did a great job with our zoo (2dogs and 4cats). They were comfortable with her. She also took care of our house while we were away. I would highly recommend her to watch your fur babies and your house. Thank you Shirley!”

“My first time with Natalia (and I'm I'm a fan! We're in a new home, from a new State, and everyone is new. We travel all the time and our dog gets extremely sad when we're gone (I'm sure she's not the only one). Natalia was so good with her and communicated so well with me throughout my trip. I'm so appreciative of her! Thx Natalia! I'll be calling on you again for sure!”

“Madelena was amazing watching our pups! She was easy to work with, responsible and sent us fun pictures of the pups while we were. She took the dogs on walks individually and comforted them during some bad storms! 10/10 would recommend and rebook!”

About: I have been around pets my entire life specifically cats and dogs. Family and friends have trusted me to take care of their fur babies whether that meant feeding, walking, bathing, etc and I was more than happy to do it. Although this is a part time job for me I make it a priority because it is something that brings joy to my days and it means being helpful and bringing joy to a pets day as well! Any pet that I am around will be safe and taken care of 110%. I will keep an eye on them constantly, provide them with fun, care, and spend quality time with them in areas that I know they feel most comfortable in. I will priortize your pets needs above anything else!
“We had Mackenzie watch Jasmine and Rudy for a day, as a trial for a longer stay later on. We are super happy with both Mackenzie's care for the doggos and also her responsiveness and communication with us. She followed our instructions thoroughly, kept us updated, and responded promptly when we reached out. Thank Mackenzie!”

“Samantha is amazing! She took such good care of Elton and sent me pictures and updates during the stay. Elton struggles to eat when I’m away and she found a way to make him feel comfortable enough to eat. I will definitely book her again!”

“We recently had the opportunity to work with Dale to watch our home and care for our dog while we were away on travels, and we were very pleased with his service! Our dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly loved during our absence, which was a huge relief. Dale provided regular updates and photos of her enjoying walks around our house, ensuring she was well exercised and content. On top of that, our home was tidy when we returned after his 5-day stay. Dale was incredibly responsive and available, always making sure we were at ease while away. We highly recommend Dale for anyone seeking a responsible and caring dog and home sitter!”

“Mark was absolutely amazing with our dog. He sent us photos throughout the weekend and updated us on how he was doing. Due to our dog being a little uncertain of new people, Mark even offered to come meet him ahead of time for peace of mind. We will absolutely be using him again!!”

About: I’ve always had pets and have also cared for pets for family members. I currently have my own dog, Loki, who is almost three years old. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and giving pets lots of love and attention. I’ll always treat your pet like my own. I’m currently not working, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m generally available throughout the week. Most of my time is spent caring for my own dog, so pet care already fits naturally into my daily routine. I live in an apartment, so I’m used to keeping a consistent routine for potty breaks and walks. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and don’t get bored while they’re with me

“Brianna was awesome. We were lucky to find her on a short notice..Showed up on time. She gave ECHO company while we were gone to dinner. Kept us updated of his status. Thank you Brianna for taking care of ECHO. We will certainly rebook her future needs.”

“Emily was fantastic with our dog, Poppy. In the past, we have always used a family member to watch her but needed someone last minute to pet sit. Emily was very responsive to our initial booking request and was able to meet us and our dog before we booked. She kept us updated with texts and photos and made sure Poppy was comfortable while we were gone. We would highly recommend Emily!”

“Our dogs love Summer and she takes great care of the house. She left a Mother's Day card for me with a hand drawn picture of our fur babies on it - love it! She does a wonderful job and we'll be having her stay with our dogs again.”

About: I have owned and taken care of all sorts of pets for over 25 years. I prioritize building a strong bond with your pet, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. Whether it’s extra playtime, special dietary needs, or simply providing a calm and familiar environment, I go the extra mile to make sure your furry friend feels right at home! As for my home, I have 2 dogs and 3 cats. The three cats do their own thing and wouldn't bother any pets that stay over. They will also not like to be played with but have plenty of spaces they can go to be safe. Our dogs, one is getting older and will play a little, but otherwise, not bother any other animals in the house. The other dog loves to play and loves other dogs, she will love to have playmates! We have a decent sized, fenced-in backyard, and I always go out with my pets to supervise as they do their animal things. I work from home so I am home most of the time while my husband works during the day. We have no children, only the 5 pets we have, who get spoiled to no end. I currently work full time from home and almost always here. I am able to take them out as much as needed and play time throughout the day. I have multiple times in the day to take them for a walk and take care of any special needs. Fenced in backyard where they can enjoy the weather and sunbathe(I will monitor when outside). I have two small dogs that would love to have friends to play with. I also have a small and large crate if needed. Plenty of toys here that your dogs can play with but can also pick them up if not allowed.
“Terri is great!! Great communication, gave lots of love to my cat, sent pictures, and even made a last-minute revisit to our home when we had a family emergency that changed our schedule. Will be booking her frequently!”

“This was the 2nd time Jordan stayed with our dog and two cats and we have been more than pleased both times! She is communicative sending pictures and updates daily, leaves the house straightened up and clean, and was even willing to water our garden and bring our trash cans out and back while we were gone. Millie, Milo, and Cali were VERY loved and cared for while we were gone. 5 stars!!!”
“Anna was so wonderful and communicative. She sent us the perfect amount of messages and photos of our sweet girl to reassure us that she was doing great. We’d highly recommend her!”

She was extremely professional and amazing with our dog Piper. She was very communicative and sent wonderful updates and pictures of our pup throughout the stay. Thank you so much Christel, we can’t wait to use your services again in a few weeks!”

Madelena was amazing for our pets! She stayed for four days and three nights and not only watched over the dogs but also our home. She also went the extra mile to do multiple meet and greets before we went out of town since one of our dogs has some stranger danger. We will definitely request Madelena again and I highly recommend her due to her professionalism, flexibility, and ability to care for multiple animals and treat them like family. Thank you so much Madelena!

Naomi was amazing! She cared for our 2 boys, Lucca and Luther, like they were her own! She had incredible patience with Luther, our 1 year old boxer who is high energy, and showed both our dogs lots of love and attention. We were gone for a full week, and returned to our house and our puppies in perfect condition! She sent daily pictures, and videos and updated us on everything our pups were doing. She was awesome and we will def be using her again!

I cannot say enough good things about Zack! He was incredibly kind, patient, and caring with my Great Dane, treating him like one of his own. During our time away, my dog developed some stomach issues and ended up with diarrhea, and Zack went above and beyond by administering medication and making sure he was comfortable, cared for, and closely monitored. Zack kept me updated throughout the stay, was attentive to my dog's needs, and handled everything with such professionalism and compassion. Knowing my pup was in such capable hands gave me complete peace of mind. It is clear that he genuinely loves animals and takes great pride in the care he provides. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, dependable, and truly dedicated to the well-being of your pets, I highly recommend Zack. We will absolutely be booking with him again

I do not even know where to begin on explaining how fabulous Paris is! I was a novice to Rover and pet sitting in general but upon our first meeting I was instantly put at ease by Paris’ friendly disposition and demeanor. She was nothing but incredibly sweet and very communicative throughout the whole process! She sent me photos of my dog every morning and night and made sure to send me updates on how things were progressing between the two of them! She took a chance on my dog, who is very high energy and is still in the process of training, and I couldn’t be more grateful! She was very patient and understanding with all of my dog’s quirks and routines. I will most definitely be rebooking with her again! Thank you again so much Paris!!!

Matthew G. was an absolutely amazing overnight home sitter for my little dog Monica. He took her for walks, played with her, fed her and gave her meds exactly per instruction and he was an immaculate houseguest. I would look forward to booking Matthew G in the future and trust him trust his decision-making when I’m not there. 🫶🏻 🫶🏻🫶🏻

She was a fast and clear communicator, always keeping us updated with plenty of messages and pictures, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. She took amazing care of our dogs, making sure they were happy and well-loved the whole time. On top of that, she went above and beyond by leaving our apartment even cleaner and tidier than when we left it. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be booking with Kai again. Highly recommend!

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of September 2026, there are 4,825 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Roswell. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Roswell walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Roswell maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Roswell choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
