“Kelly was outstanding! I am so happy to have found her through Rover. Her description gave lots of detail about the effort she makes to give the dogs a safe and peaceful environment. I felt at ease from the moment she met us at the door with another dog tucked away so that our dog could get acclimated to her new surroundings first. Kelly was very good about sending us photos and updates throughout Pearl’s stay to keep our minds at ease, and I know she gave Pearl lots of snuggles. When we picked her up, she was her usual happy self. I definitely want to use Kelly again next time we are in the area. I feel confident recommending her to any pet parent!”

“Jennifer took great care of Violet and even let her sleep in her bed! Which I’m sure Violet loved! Her daughters’ help was an added bonus. They were sweet enough to blow lots of bubbles which is her favorite thing to play!”

“Michele did an amazing job looking after our pooch. She was a great communicator and sent updates with photos on a regular basis so I was stress free the whole time I was away. They have a big back yard so there was plenty of space for my dog to run around. Highly recommend!”

“She took excellent care of our Webber. She was great, totally on time to get him and sent us tons of photos and videos of him having a great time. Will absolutely use again.”

“The dogs always have fun at Lina's. She has also helped when we have a grand dog to watch and comes by to walk the dogs. Hopefully no rain next time for our dogs! We look forward to using her again.”

“Bryce was very responsive and took really good care of my dog. It was our first time using him to take care of my dood. He sent pictures and updates several times a day. Kept me up-to-date when he noticed an issue with my dog. Thank you Bryce!”

“Anita was great with our puppy, Hazel! She was so kind and you can tell she loves and cares for animals! She sent multiple videos while we were away! She has a great home, filled with all you could need for a dog. I would def recommend Anita for boarding! :)”

“Lucy had the best time at Diane’s! I was traveling to Hawaii and realized the day before leaving I wouldn’t be able to bring Lucy and she was able to accommodate us last minute! Lucy loved her porch and fenced yard. She had so much fun playing with her dog Coco! She sent pictures daily which I loved and looked forward to. It was hard to leave Lucy for a week but felt completely comfortable leaving her and will definitely book again! Thank you so much!! Lucy can’t wait to come back!”

“Xiuzhen is amazing and took wonderful care of our dog! She walked our dog several times a day, and our pup came home happy and well cared for. Highly recommend Xiuzhen to anyone looking for a reliable and loving dog sitter!”

“Charity and her family are awesome humans. This was our first time “boarding” our dog. I put boarding in quotations because quite honestly, our dog got to be part of Charity’s family for the week, and it probably felt more like a spa and playful summer camp to our dog than boarding. We usually send our dog to stay with family or friends the one time per year we actually get to leave town. So we were anxious sending her off via Rover for our first time. Charity is super sweet, kind, clearly loves animals, and definitely knows how to handle them. Our anxieties were immediately at ease when we met her and her family. She further eased them with daily photo updates, and she even wiped our dog’s eyes with warm towels due to some allergies! Ya’ll, this dog had it better during boarding than she did on our farm. Our dog is a husky and though pretty chill for that breed, I’m 100% confident in Charity and trusting in all her abilities to handle and care for any pup. She loved on our dog like it was her own. She also was very flexible when our flight home was delayed and we had to extend an additional night. We certainly recommend her and would definitely use her again.”

“Our dog, Riley, did so well at Sara’s home! Sara is incredibly attentive and made Riley feel so welcomed and safe during his stay! Sara also did a fantastic job communicating with us during his stay. We’ll definitely use Sara in the future! Thank you, Sara!”
“I can’t begin to tell you how pleased I am with Megan! She took care of my super shy cat for 3+ days and he felt right at home with her! Where he would typically hide under beds, he was letting her give him belly rubs and eating/sleeping well. I usually feel anxious and guilty all the time on our short vacations, worrying about him feeling stressed. This time was different ; the videos she sent told me he was doing great! Megan listened to what I said and worked her magic! I highly recommend this lovely lady to care for your fur babies 💝”

“Jennie took amazing care of Lucy! She sent lots of pictures and gave us daily updates so we always knew Lucy was happy and thriving. Lucy loved it there so much she didn’t want to come home - a true testament to Jennie and her family ☺️”

“Tycilea did great with my puppy. I was very nervous leaving him for the first time but she made me feel very comfortable and confident that he would be fine. She sent pics, videos, and updates. Would definitely recommend her in the future and will be booking again.”
“Devin was an amazing dog sitter for my dog, Bandit! She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure he felt comfortable and loved the entire time it gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in great hands. I would absolutely trust Devin again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Holly Springs
Natalie was wonderful with Max while we were away for a week! She took great care of him and kept us updated with messages and photos throughout our trip, which gave us so much peace of mind. Natalie was kind, reliable and just lovely all around. We would definitely have her watch Max again!

This was a somewhat last-minute request, and I truly lucked out with Cynthia! She made Xavier feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. She sent multiple updates each day, which gave me so much peace of mind, and it was obvious that Xavier had an absolute blast during his stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Cynthia to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!

We are so happy to have found Ailen and Rolando. Our cats (as before with other caregivers) were having issues adjusting to their stay (not eating, hiding, etc.); Ailen was so sweet and patient with them, eventually getting even our most shy kitty not only to eat but be affectionate. Colby eventually warms up to everyone, Tuffy is a recluse around anyone outside our home. Our cats love Ailen and Rolando after only a week with them. We had complete peace of mind and would enthusiastically recommend them.

Dinah was excellent. Se took wonderful care of my Penelope. She sent me pictures and videos and updates daily. She kept me informed so I wouldn’t worry about anything. I would definitely recommend her highly and will it hesitate to leave my dog with her again. Thank you

Katherine and her family took great care of our dog Luca! Luca had a pre existing condition while under Katherine’s care and she followed his medication protocol to the line. He was in better condition when I picked him back up, so we have full trust in Katherine and her family to care for Luca.

We’ve boarded Annie before but never left her with a sitter before who wasn’t a family member or close friend. We searched Rover for someone in the Woodstock, GA area and settled on Aliya. She was kind enough to allow us to come by to allow her to meet Annie and for Annie to meet her. Aliya took care of Annie for more than 2 weeks while we were on a cruise. We so appreciated getting periodic updates and photos while we were gone. We will definitely book again with Aliya in the future and highly recommend her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
