“Beverly took very good care of Mabel and made sure to send a picture or video every day. My girl was very happy (and tired from all the fun) when I returned from my trip.”

“I needed last minute boarding and Natalie was responsive and had great communication. It can be hard to leave your pet with someone new, but we felt comfortable the entire time. Hershey was well cared for, we received pictures and updates, and he was happy during his stay. We will definitely use Natalie again!”

“Lauren and her family are awesome! They made our guy Charlie feel right at home, sending lots of pictures/updates and giving him tons of attention. It was our first time using River and they made the whole thing really easy. Definitely recommend!”

“We had the absolute best experience with Kelly! We boarded our two fur babies and we will definitely be bringing them back! Kelly sent daily videos and pictures to update us on their stay. If you’re looking for a personable experience then Kelly will exceed your expectations! Thank you again for treating our boys like your own while we were on vacation!”

“Kyle had a wonderful time with Diane. He is a 2 yo border collie and entertaining him is no small feat but Diane kept him happy with lots of frisbee and yard time! She has the cutest front yard that is fenced for dogs. She is kind and dog knowledgeable. Kyle is giving a 5 paw rating 🐶”

“It was nice to leave and feel comfortable with who we left our baby girl with. I received pictures during her stay and she appeared to be smiling in each one of them. She came home a happy, exhausted pup.”

“Julie was amazing with Astro! She made him feel so comfortable during our meet and greet before our booking. I accidentally chose the wrong date for the booking and Julie was completely understanding and kind. During Astro’s boarding, she loved on him and sent us updates throughout the day. Book with her!”

“Lina was fantastic! This was Cookie’s first time away from us since we adopted her and Lina made it the best experience! She sent us regular updates and adorable pictures which we really appreciated. Cookie had such a great time I don’t think she wanted to come home! Thank you Lina!”

“Deandra was great with Peaches. Deandra maintained communication throughout Peaches stay with plenty of pictures. Peaches seemed happy upon her return. She also had fun with Deandra’s dog Romeo. I was very pleased with how everything worked out effortlessly. Will book again in the future 🐾 🐾”

“Savannah and her family were absolutely wonderful with our Sadie. They treated Sadie like their very own pup and member of the family!! When we went to get Sadie after her stay, she walked back inside. We adore Savannah and she is now our go-to pet sitter. Thank you for all the love you showed Sadie!!”

“I could not be more grateful to have found a person like Stevee to watch my dogs. She took such great care of them and made me feel at ease being away from them. Thank you, Stevee! We appreciate you and your love and care for our dogs.”

“Devin was an amazing dog sitter for my dog, Bandit! She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure he felt comfortable and loved the entire time it gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in great hands. I would absolutely trust Devin again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“Ashli was so wonderful! Our dog thoroughly enjoyed her stay and she was very well taken care of! Ashli’s backyard is amazing, which is super important to us - very safe fence for all dogs, even small ones (ours is 10 pounds). We got great daily updates that made our day while we were away. We will be using her again! Definitely recommend. 5 stars!”

“Charity and her family are awesome humans. This was our first time “boarding” our dog. I put boarding in quotations because quite honestly, our dog got to be part of Charity’s family for the week, and it probably felt more like a spa and playful summer camp to our dog than boarding. We usually send our dog to stay with family or friends the one time per year we actually get to leave town. So we were anxious sending her off via Rover for our first time. Charity is super sweet, kind, clearly loves animals, and definitely knows how to handle them. Our anxieties were immediately at ease when we met her and her family. She further eased them with daily photo updates, and she even wiped our dog’s eyes with warm towels due to some allergies! Ya’ll, this dog had it better during boarding than she did on our farm. Our dog is a husky and though pretty chill for that breed, I’m 100% confident in Charity and trusting in all her abilities to handle and care for any pup. She loved on our dog like it was her own. She also was very flexible when our flight home was delayed and we had to extend an additional night. We certainly recommend her and would definitely use her again.”

“Amy was great with Benny. She took very good care of him during the three days that I was out of town with my family. I could see in the photos that he was happy and relaxed. Benny had to have antibiotics because of an incident with another sitter and Amy took care of giving him his medicine with no issues. I could see that Benny was happy because he came back relaxed and playful. I will definitely leave Benny with Amy again!”

“They took such amazing care of my pup!! They were excellent about communication, sending pictures, and really treated her as their own. Would definitely recommend and will surely use them next time!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Holly Springs
We are so happy to have found Ailen and Rolando. Our cats (as before with other caregivers) were having issues adjusting to their stay (not eating, hiding, etc.); Ailen was so sweet and patient with them, eventually getting even our most shy kitty not only to eat but be affectionate. Colby eventually warms up to everyone, Tuffy is a recluse around anyone outside our home. Our cats love Ailen and Rolando after only a week with them. We had complete peace of mind and would enthusiastically recommend them.

Dinah was excellent. Se took wonderful care of my Penelope. She sent me pictures and videos and updates daily. She kept me informed so I wouldn’t worry about anything. I would definitely recommend her highly and will it hesitate to leave my dog with her again. Thank you

Katherine and her family took great care of our dog Luca! Luca had a pre existing condition while under Katherine’s care and she followed his medication protocol to the line. He was in better condition when I picked him back up, so we have full trust in Katherine and her family to care for Luca.

We’ve boarded Annie before but never left her with a sitter before who wasn’t a family member or close friend. We searched Rover for someone in the Woodstock, GA area and settled on Aliya. She was kind enough to allow us to come by to allow her to meet Annie and for Annie to meet her. Aliya took care of Annie for more than 2 weeks while we were on a cruise. We so appreciated getting periodic updates and photos while we were gone. We will definitely book again with Aliya in the future and highly recommend her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
