“Jennie did an amazing job taking care of Luna while we were out of town. She was attentive, caring, and kept us updated with photos and messages throughout Luna’s stay, which gave us great peace of mind. Luna came home happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. We truly appreciate Jennie’s kindness and professionalism, and we would happily book with her again. Highly recommend! 🐾😊”

“I was a little worried, because my dog has separation anxiety. The meet and greet definitely helped alleviate quite a bit of apprehension, but I was still a bit concerned since my dog really didn’t know them. The message the first morning with a photo took away my concerns. I had several more messages and photos that were fun to receive. Kim and her boys were sweet as can be, and her sons helped carry my dog’s crate from my car to the house and back. I would absolutely refer Kim to my friends.”

“They took such amazing care of my pup!! They were excellent about communication, sending pictures, and really treated her as their own. Would definitely recommend and will surely use them next time!”

“Bryce was very responsive and took really good care of my dog. It was our first time using him to take care of my dood. He sent pictures and updates several times a day. Kept me up-to-date when he noticed an issue with my dog. Thank you Bryce!”

“Thank you so much Jennifer for watching Pablo for me. You made me very comfortable with it being my first time ever dropping him off especially with his size! I truly appreciate you! You are the best!”

“Reyna is super sweet and enjoys dogs, along with her boys, who are great helpers. My dog enjoyed walks, and playing, and being a part of the family while she stayed with Reyna. A large fenced play area is great for higher-energy dogs to run around, and a long driveway and farm area makes for nice areas to walk. Pictures were sent of my dog during my time away and my dog always looked happy.”

“Lucy had the best time at Diane’s! I was traveling to Hawaii and realized the day before leaving I wouldn’t be able to bring Lucy and she was able to accommodate us last minute! Lucy loved her porch and fenced yard. She had so much fun playing with her dog Coco! She sent pictures daily which I loved and looked forward to. It was hard to leave Lucy for a week but felt completely comfortable leaving her and will definitely book again! Thank you so much!! Lucy can’t wait to come back!”

“Romeo was so well taken care of, he almost didn’t want to leave! And her kids being around made Romeo feel less anxious during his stay which is amazing because he’s got bad separation anxiety! Definitely will be back!”

“We are so happy to have found Lena! She gave us peace of mind, especially being out of country for so long. It was nice to have someone with him all day and friends to play with! She sent cute updates and pictures as well. Lena is our new go-to sitter!”

“Goldendoodle Queisha took wonderful care of our 6-year-old Goldendoodle. We really appreciated the updates and the stress-free boarding experience for the day. We look forward to using her services again in the future.”

“Mikayla did a great job taking care of our pup. She was so sweet in every communication, gave us daily updates, and we could tell our pup was happy to stay with her. Highly recommend! Thank you!”

“Megan did an amazing job watching our dog! She sent us daily updates with photos and had great communication throughout the entire stay. Our dog loved it over there.”

“Marisa and her family are wonderful and took loving care of our senior Weim, Trouper. We picked him up today and he is in happy spirits, looks great and has been eating well. Thsnk you Marisa!”

“Oh my goodness Michele and Trenton were amazing! We have a new home away from home for our boys when we leave town. Chewie and Indiana had a great time and Michele was fabulous in sending lots of pictures every day while we were away. They spoiled our dogs, and we couldn't be happier that we found such a great fit for our boys. Thank you Michele!!!”

“Deandra was great with Peaches. Deandra maintained communication throughout Peaches stay with plenty of pictures. Peaches seemed happy upon her return. She also had fun with Deandra’s dog Romeo. I was very pleased with how everything worked out effortlessly. Will book again in the future 🐾 🐾”

“One of our best Rover experiences. From the initial meetup through pickup, we felt completely at ease and confident our dog was in great hands. Communication was excellent, and it was clear our dog was well cared for and happy. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Holly Springs
Lina was an amazing pet sitter! She was incredibly communicative throughout the entire stay, keeping me updated with messages and photos that gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my cat and made sure he was happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. I came home to a happy kitty, and I couldn't be more grateful. I highly recommend Lina to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and attentive pet sitter. I would absolutely book with her again!

This was a somewhat last-minute request, and I truly lucked out with Cynthia! She made Xavier feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. She sent multiple updates each day, which gave me so much peace of mind, and it was obvious that Xavier had an absolute blast during his stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Cynthia to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!

We are so happy to have found Ailen and Rolando. Our cats (as before with other caregivers) were having issues adjusting to their stay (not eating, hiding, etc.); Ailen was so sweet and patient with them, eventually getting even our most shy kitty not only to eat but be affectionate. Colby eventually warms up to everyone, Tuffy is a recluse around anyone outside our home. Our cats love Ailen and Rolando after only a week with them. We had complete peace of mind and would enthusiastically recommend them.

Dinah was excellent. Se took wonderful care of my Penelope. She sent me pictures and videos and updates daily. She kept me informed so I wouldn’t worry about anything. I would definitely recommend her highly and will it hesitate to leave my dog with her again. Thank you

Katherine and her family took great care of our dog Luca! Luca had a pre existing condition while under Katherine’s care and she followed his medication protocol to the line. He was in better condition when I picked him back up, so we have full trust in Katherine and her family to care for Luca.

We’ve boarded Annie before but never left her with a sitter before who wasn’t a family member or close friend. We searched Rover for someone in the Woodstock, GA area and settled on Aliya. She was kind enough to allow us to come by to allow her to meet Annie and for Annie to meet her. Aliya took care of Annie for more than 2 weeks while we were on a cruise. We so appreciated getting periodic updates and photos while we were gone. We will definitely book again with Aliya in the future and highly recommend her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
