“Our girl, Sparkles, truly enjoyed her stay with Lesley. She was treated like one of the family, had a great time playing with Lesley’s dogs, and I was sent lots of photos of Sparkles enjoying herself. :) I also loved the idea that Lesley was home most of the day so my girl didn’t have to feel nervous about staying home alone in a house she was unfamiliar with. Thanks, Lesley!”

“Ashli was amazing! She loved our Axle like her own. Our dog does not get along with everyone and when we came to pick up Axle he didn’t want to leave. He loved staying with Ashli. She also sent many pictures which helped comfort us and our anxiety of leaving him. She will be our first choice always. Thanks Ashli for watching Axle and loving him.”
“We are so happy to have found Lena! She gave us peace of mind, especially being out of country for so long. It was nice to have someone with him all day and friends to play with! She sent cute updates and pictures as well. Lena is our new go-to sitter!”

“We booked same day sitting with Stosh for our dog,Sheru. And Stosh sent wonderful daily photo updates and food schedule. Sheru was so happy and relaxed when we got home!"We would gladly book with him again. Thank you Stosh for taking such a good care of him, really appreciate it…..😊”

“Kelly was amazing! She took such wonderful care of Harley! She got him to eat which he barely does when he’s not with me. Great job! Kept sending photos and kept us up to date. I will definitely use her again! Thank you so much Kelly!!”

“We booked with Kimberly to keep Teddy for 5 nights while we were away on our trip. Teddy has epilepsy so requires multiple pills a day as well as other specialities due to his illness. When we first met Kimberly and her husband they were very attentive and asked all the right questions. They even bought cameras to watch Ted if they left as we mentioned that is what we do when do at home. Kimberly made us feel at ease on our trip with daily pictures and messages and reassured any questions we had about Teddy while we were away. We plan to continue to use Kimberly for any trips we take and would strongly recommend her to anyone. Teddy truly seemed sad to leave which we see as a great sign!”

“our sweet boy yoko had an amazing time with bella and ry! they were so attentive and sent lots of photos/videos!! i would 100% recommend them as a dog sitter. yoko can’t wait for his next stay!”

“The family is amazing! My fur baby had a fantastic time. They are so loving, caring and informative. I truly am grateful for them. I HIGHLY recommend if you’re looking for someone who cares for your fur baby like you care.”

“Charity was absolutely incredible with my lab and golden who stayed with her for 6 days. I was very nervous using Rover for the first time and as soon as I met Charity, she eased all my fears. She has so much experience with her dogs, as do her adorable children and they were so sweet with them! She sent me a lot of beautiful photos to ease my mind while we were away and handled my lab throwing up on the second to last day with such grace like a pro. My dogs were so welcomed and relaxed into their home very quickly. My golden takes a lot of supplements and Charity was so precise to even notice that I left one of the supplements off my instructions and she messaged me to confirm. She was extremely responsive and communicative through the entire process from my inquiry just a week and an half before our trip until even after we got home checking in on my lab. She’s amazing!!! I would 1000% recommend Charity to anyone looking for a caring and kind pet sitter who will treat them like her own. I would love to book with Charity again in the future for any short trips we take!”
“Mikayla did a great job taking care of our pup. She was so sweet in every communication, gave us daily updates, and we could tell our pup was happy to stay with her. Highly recommend! Thank you!”

“Jackie was a life saver! I had to leave for two weeks and she took the absolute best care of my four month old puppy. I got photos and videos every day, and she played with my puppy and took such great care of her. I can’t recommend Jackie enough and I will absolutely be booking with her again!”

“Anita was a great sitter for my attention loving dog. I could tell my pup enjoyed her stay and and I really appreciated how safe I felt my pet was there (she has done the houdini escape before!) Thank you Anita.”

“Michele was AMAZING! We had to schedule a two night stay on short notice because our previous boarding plans fell through. I usually like to see the place where we send our pup because she is a very talented escape artist, and I shared that with Michele and Trenton. This time I didn’t have a chance, and Michele picked up on my nerves and called me to discuss what their space is like and how they could make sure our doggie stays safe. Then, during the stay while we were traveling, my toddler kept crying because she missed the pup; Michele went above and beyond to send photos and video updates and even did a video call so my kiddo could have some face time with her dog sister and calm down. Our doggie also had an absolute blast! Definitely plan on sending her back to the farm to hang out with the goats and chickens :)”

“I felt very safe leaving my dog with Sara even with a very short notice. Her backyard is very big, she sounded knowledgeable on doggy care, and she talked to me about what to expect from Mia's overnight visit with her. She sent lots of updates and a few pictures and my dog came back tired from playing with the other doggies! Will definitely be going to her again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Holly Springs
Sara is fantastic! I really appreciate her straight forward approach as such an experienced care provider. Darla has some initial anxiety the first day/night of her stay, in part, due severely harmed by a previous care provider, and because she is extremely attached to our children. Because I have family out of state and we travel at least a couple of times a year, we have been looking for someone who we felt would/could have patience, kindness and the experience to see her through that initial hurdle. We are very thoughtful when looking at care providers for Darla, and have been specifically looking for someone trustworthy that we can consistently turn to when we travel. Sara felt right from the first time I saw her profile! Sara has extensive experience, down to Darla’s breed(s) and behaviors, and made us feel confident she would be safe and cared for. Darla did have anxiety around bedtime on the first night, Sara chatted with us, did some “troubleshooting” and got her settled in - Sara refused to just crate her, which might have been the easier solution for some people. She was patient and worked through it with her. Thanks to Sara, Darla did great from there on out! We are SO thankful for her professional approach - She communicates honestly, and has so much enthusiasm for providing thoughtful and compassionate care. We can’t recommend her enough, and we plan to use her from this point forward!

Angie & Esteban are a beautiful family, with a beautiful home and property. Our dog was so stressed being boarded in large facilities that we decided to give Rover a try. We are so happy to have found Angie & Esteban. Our dog has loved staying with them and being part of their family (they treat her like their own!). We have already booked 4x with them in the last month alone! We've done day stays, one week-long stay, and another coming soon! Couldn't be happier with the attention and love they provide for our pup, Holden!

Natalie was wonderful with Max while we were away for a week! She took great care of him and kept us updated with messages and photos throughout our trip, which gave us so much peace of mind. Natalie was kind, reliable and just lovely all around. We would definitely have her watch Max again!

We are so happy to have found Ailen and Rolando. Our cats (as before with other caregivers) were having issues adjusting to their stay (not eating, hiding, etc.); Ailen was so sweet and patient with them, eventually getting even our most shy kitty not only to eat but be affectionate. Colby eventually warms up to everyone, Tuffy is a recluse around anyone outside our home. Our cats love Ailen and Rolando after only a week with them. We had complete peace of mind and would enthusiastically recommend them.

Dinah was excellent. Se took wonderful care of my Penelope. She sent me pictures and videos and updates daily. She kept me informed so I wouldn’t worry about anything. I would definitely recommend her highly and will it hesitate to leave my dog with her again. Thank you

We’ve boarded Annie before but never left her with a sitter before who wasn’t a family member or close friend. We searched Rover for someone in the Woodstock, GA area and settled on Aliya. She was kind enough to allow us to come by to allow her to meet Annie and for Annie to meet her. Aliya took care of Annie for more than 2 weeks while we were on a cruise. We so appreciated getting periodic updates and photos while we were gone. We will definitely book again with Aliya in the future and highly recommend her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
