“Because of my severe cat allergies, we had to temporarily leave our cats, Waffle and Ellie with Dianicia and I’m so thankful we found her. She was incredibly kind and understanding, kept us updated, and treated them like her own. It gave me so much peace of mind during a stressful time. Highly recommend!”

“Kobe and Cocoa are best friends now! Cocoa absolutely loves having dog friends, and Kobe had the best time with Nicole and Cocoa. Kobe clearly had so much fun with them. Nicole sent us regular photo and video updates, which made us feel completely at ease while we were out of town. We never had to worry. We will definitely be leaving Kobe with Nicole again next time. Highly recommend!🐶”

“Dominique was a great sitter. I had a schedule change twice that she was more than understanding and happy to accommodate. She provided updates while I was away and my anxious dog got along very well. Would book again!”
“This is the second time we are using Michael. Daffy loves to stay there and hang with his 2 dogs. She had no issues at all. I think we found our sitter whenever we need somebody. Thank you for taking care of her. Sandra and Filip”
“Analygia and her hubby are amazing dog sitters and you can tell how much she loves dogs. Eddie took to her immediately and I knew he was in the right hands. I'll definitely continue to use Analygia. Eddie loves her and now so do we.”

“Erica was wonderful in caring for my Archie - as was her family of several children! There were several dogs in Erica’s care and that was a bonus for Archie! He came home happy and exhausted. Erica has a big heart and it is evident she enjoys the dogs in her care. Her home Is very dog friendly and her large fenced in backyard is a playground for dogs! When in the area I will certainly reach out to Erica again. Highly recommend!”

“Carmy had a great time with Chan & his golden, George! We had a last minute booking due to a last minute cancellation, and Chan was so nice in accommodating us for the Thanksgiving holiday week. Super communicative and shared lots of photo & video updates each day which I loved. Highly recommend Chan as a Rover sitter and would trust him to watch my Carmy again!”

“This was Sno’s first stay with Sung Hee. Before the booking she made sure to understand Sno’s preferences so that he could feel at home. During the booking, she provided updates and pictures. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a good sitter!”

“It's clear that animals are loved and valued in Morgan's home. Dennis had tons of fun playing and walking, and he was very well cared. We would love for Morgan to board our pup again next time the need arises!”

“Lauren took such great care of our pup for the week she had her! She also sends lots of update pictures and videos so we were able to see her having so much fun! We would recommend Lauren to anyone who wants their pup to be spoiled and well taken care of.”

“Skye is OUTSTANDING as always, my husband and I were on a trip to Mexico, and she takes care of our baby Tequila for 10 days, she always sent us photos and videos everyday. I can’t recommend her enough 🩷 we loooove her!”

“TEN STARZ!! Astrid is a kind pet lover!! From the moment I dropped my Kobe off, she was the best. I sent his pet bed with him and she added a pillow for comfort. She was very communicative with lots of pictures and videos. Her house is spacious with a beautiful deck and backyard. If you book with her, your dog will be spoiled and loved on the entire time. I will absolutely be looking for her whenever I’m going out of town.”

“Suesan was amazing! Definitely recommend her for your dog-sitting needs 😊 It's always nerve-wracking to leave your baby at daycare or boarding, but Suesan provides you with daily updates and she has a large fenced yard for your pooch to play in. She's also very accommodating to the pup's needs, and she was overall amazing. Definitely boarding with her again in the future :)”

“Nancy took great care of our 2 dogs for boarding! We received excellent communication and photos on how they were doing and picked up two happy and well exercised pups at the end. Would absolutely recommend Nancy to take amazing care of your dogs!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Duluth
Michael and Harley took wonderful care of our Teddy! They welcomed him into their home as if he was their own dog. It gave us great peace of mind while out of town. They kept us updated a few times throughout each day, sent pictures and videos. We are so glad we found them and will definitely have Teddy stay with them again!

Rachel has a very nice yard where dogs can play and hang out. She has some dogs & a cat, so your pet for sure will not get bored while you’re away. She also has her other family members watching over them. It also was a plus that her house is quite near to our place.

We are so relieved to have found Hilary to care for our Yorkie. We appreciated her great communication from the first messages all throughout the stay. She was also very understanding and reasonable with pickup/dropoff times. Nismo is still healthy but now that she is almost 11, I always want to make sure she is staying with someone who has experience with senior dogs. Nismo seemed instantly comfortable with Hilary. We received great pictures and updates each morning and we were able to enjoy our time away without any worries. We would definitely schedule with Hilary again in the future.

I don’t trust anyone else but Erika with my pup, so I was super grateful & happy she was very accommodating for a super last minute beach trip and could help with my mom’s dog as well! Our babies were spoiled with love and cuddles. All the picture updates she sends always leaves me feeling at ease, would highly recommend her to anyone !

Angela was GREAT! I did a meet and greet with Angela as this was my first time using her and I was going out of the country and was going to have someone else doing the drop off and pick up. I was worried as the time difference was 5 hours ahead and may not be able to be reached if anything should come up. She was so accommodating and always responded timely to my messages. She even offered additional options to consider when I was trying to figure out what would work best for me. I would definitely use her again. I expressed to her my concerns as Juju isn't the best with eating and often times needs to be hand fed and Angela assured me she would do whatever needed to be done to help her eat and she did. I appreciate her going above and beyond to accommodate Juju and her anxiety and trying to keep her routine as normal as possible under the circumstances of me being away for such a long period of time. THANKS AGAIN ANGELA.

Bernadette was super with our 16 year old maltipoo, Champ! She has a great set up for dogs in her home & she sent us pics of Champ during his stay. He was happy & calm when we picked him up. I would book Bernadette again. FYI, she boards other dogs at the same time, so be aware if that’s an issue for your dog. Champ did fine with the other pups.

Samantha took great care of my dog and provided daily updates and photos throughout the stay. My dog, Nelly, was shy at first, but Samantha was very patient and gentle with her, which helped her feel comfortable. She also followed Nelly’s mealtime instructions and walking routine carefully. We would definitely book with Samantha again!

Sung Hee took amazing care of Luca. This is exactly the dynamic that I was hoping for to trust someone with my dogs care. He became one of the family and I couldn’t have been more thrilled or confident in his happiness and well being. She is the first person outside of our family to ever watch Luca and I will not be seeking elsewhere when the need arises again as I believe she is best suited for this worry wort mama. Cannot sing enough praises.

Trudy was amazing while we were out of town! She kept us updated with pictures and great communication, which gave us so much peace of mind. She was also very flexible when we ran a little late, and we truly appreciated that. We’ll definitely be using her again, highly recommend! 💛

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
