I love being active with my clients’ pets. Currently I live in an apartment, but it has two courtyards/green spaces. I also live right on campus, so for dogs, I have many nearby places to walk them. For animals that prefer to lounge around inside, I have lots of indoor toys!

I’d love to know your pet’s unique traits or habits, like if your pet is territorial around a food or a certain toy, if your pet jumps or humps excessively, if they’re potty trained, etc. I’d also love to know about your pet’s health - do they require any medications, have any allergies, have any past health problems, etc. Thank you!
A typical day
I love long strolls, but I know certain animals require more exercise, so if you’d want, I can go on a run with your pet as well! I also have played softball and flag football for the majority of my life, so if your animal likes fetch, I have a good arm so I can give him or her a challenge!

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals - horses, cows, pigs, sheep, ducks, deer, cats, dogs, and other small animals - since I was 10. During high school, I was on the pre-vet track, where I took care of the rabbits, hamsters, and chickens, and during my last year of high school I shadowed at a vet clinic. I currently raise and train facility dogs and service dogs, as well as volunteer at my local humane shelter where I train their dogs, as well. Now at my current university, I work with raptors, such as hawks, eagles, falcons, and owls. All of these opportunities have helped me gain insightful experience in order to properly care for all kinds of animals, big and small!

I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of my cat while I was away. Savanna was incredibly kind, attentive, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. From the start, she made me feel completely at ease, and it was obvious my cat was comfortable and happy in her care. She kept me updated and when I came back, my cat was relaxed, well cared for, and clearly had been given lots of love and attention. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring pet sitter.
