One of my cats has had diabetes for the past 5 years, and requires two insulin shots a day, so I am well trained to give shots to your pet if needed. About: I work from home and would love to host and care for your fur babies while you are at work or away on vacation. I have loved animals of all types my entire life. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. I currently have a volunteer position with the same organization as a microchip coordinator. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. My family pets over the past 22 years were 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixes that all lived to be seniors. I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own currently, Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. I have a fenced yard in the backyard and have a large front yard where pets will always have the opportunity to go outside to potty, play, sniff the flowers in season, chase some squirrels, but all while being supervised. Whenever the weather permits we keep our doors open so they can roam free; we always have eyes on the dogs. If it's cold outside or hot we will make sure we keep the indoors at a comfortable temp using AC/heat. Your dog will always be comfortable, be supervised, and have access to water! I have been around dogs all of my life and I am very aware of what their body language tells me so they are in good hand as I am very attentive to their needs.

About: I have always had dogs and loved animals my whole life. I currently have two dogs and one cat at home. I doggy sit often for friends and loving having play dates with other dogs. My family is used to having others spend days with us at a time and we love to snuggle in bed together. I’m a teacher so I’m free all summer long to be with your babies. I have a dog that is my morning girl. She will get up at 5 am and we go get breakfast and go outback for potty break. We go out at 8 am for a walk and usually have the doggy dog open for them to go outback back for the bathroom during the day. I will do a final walk at around 8pm and get everyone all the night time routine of dinner and meds and greenies. I have a fenced back yard. It’s very large and I teach any new dog to use the doggy door. I love snuggling during the day on the couch with them or in bed. We sometimes go out to the park and really just want for their needs.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals from dogs to cats and even rats. I have pet-sat for neighbors and family since I was 15 and have recently gotten a new cat since moving to college. I have also dealt with animals with special needs including my family dog that has seizures and another family dog that is deaf, blind and has to receive insulin injections after every meal. My schedule is currently very open and I am available any day throughout the week as well as weekends. I am not currently looking for too many overnight stays because I do have 2 cats of my own to watch after. I have 2 very spoiled cats of my own that gets all of the attention that I can provide as well as daily play time and brushing. I keep to a very strict feeding schedule because one of my cat does have some food insecurity issues so I try to be very mindful of that. While taking care of my family’s dogs that require medical attention, I keep a check off list next to the food in order to insure that their medications that are either taken with or taken right after food are administered accordingly.

I have to be in the office two days a week, and my only option would be to leave my dog Hazel in her crate for upwards of 8 hours on those days, so having Donne come over and take Hazel for a walk, has taken that stress away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work a hybrid schedule, which gives me flexibility to provide pets with plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, feeding, and companionship throughout the day. On days I work from home (which is Monday, Thursday and Friday) I’m able to be present and attentive, and on office days (Tuesdays and Wednesday's) I plan my schedule carefully to ensure pets receive the care they need. As a pet owner myself, caring for animals is already a part of my everyday life. I treat my mini dachshund like he is my child. I enjoy spending time with pets, whether that’s going for walks, going to the park, playing, providing cuddles, or simply keeping them company. I also have a nanny cam that I check in on when I am away. I prioritize reliability, communication, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. As a mini dachshund owner, I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, love, and care while you’re away. I’ve cared for friends’ dogs in my home before and always work to make them feel comfortable by sticking to their normal routines as much as possible. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company, I tailor my care to each pet’s needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their usual schedule and any specific instructions to help their pet feel safe, comfortable, and stress free. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands.
About: I've helped take care of cats, dogs, pigs, fish etc for as long as I can remember. I have experience taking pets to the vet and giving them their medicine. Of course, I will feed and walk your pet but I also think it is important to spend some extra time showing the animal some love and even play with it before going back into a crate or leaving. They need love and attention like humans do. I will absolutely be sending pictures of everything we do so mom or dad can be at ease knowing their fur baby is in good hands. Currently, I work remote three times a week (M/T/F) and I am in the office Wed/Thurs. My remote days have a lot of flexibility where I could help in mornings, afternoons & evenings. On my office days I can help in the evenings or night time. If I don't have something planned on the weekends I am available for mornings, afternoons & evenings as well. I think it is important to build trust with the animal first so it feels comfortable around me. I don't immediately force petting or rubbing on animals. Instead I let them come to me when they feel safe and comfortable and get use to my scent. I also support meet and greets so the animal is use to me before booking. I supervise the animals at all times to make sure they are getting into something they shouldn't. Overall, it is about making the animal feel safe and comfortable in its own environment
