About: I work from home and would love to host and care for your fur babies while you are at work or away on vacation. I have loved animals of all types my entire life. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. I currently have a volunteer position with the same organization as a microchip coordinator. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. My family pets over the past 22 years were 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixes that all lived to be seniors. I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own currently, Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. I have a fenced yard in the backyard and have a large front yard where pets will always have the opportunity to go outside to potty, play, sniff the flowers in season, chase some squirrels, but all while being supervised. Whenever the weather permits we keep our doors open so they can roam free; we always have eyes on the dogs. If it's cold outside or hot we will make sure we keep the indoors at a comfortable temp using AC/heat. Your dog will always be comfortable, be supervised, and have access to water! I have been around dogs all of my life and I am very aware of what their body language tells me so they are in good hand as I am very attentive to their needs.

I have to be in the office two days a week, and my only option would be to leave my dog Hazel in her crate for upwards of 8 hours on those days, so having Donne come over and take Hazel for a walk, has taken that stress away. She lets herself in, takes my dog for a walk, give's her some water and a treat, and then puts her back in the crate. She locks the door on the way out. I felt at ease from the moment she met us at the door with another dog tucked away so that our dog could get acclimated to her new surroundings first. Kelly was very good about sending us photos and updates throughout Pearl’s stay to keep our minds at ease, and I know she gave Pearl lots of snuggles.
