When we first met Kimberly and her husband they were very attentive and asked all the right questions. They even bought cameras to watch Ted if they left as we mentioned that is what we do when do at home. Kimberly made us feel at ease on our trip with daily pictures and messages and reassured any questions we had about Teddy while we were away. About: I grew up taking care of three dogs at home while my parents were away at work. I’ve always been great at keeping the dogs entertained. I always volunteered at the cat shelter, Good Mews, for a number of years. I am jobless for the summer other than rover so I can take care of dogs anytime all the time. My schedule is very flexible. I make sure to always keep my eye on my pets to make sure they don’t go anywhere they aren’t supposed to or get into anything they shouldn’t.

About: I work from home and would love to host and care for your fur babies while you are at work or away on vacation. I have loved animals of all types my entire life. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. I currently have a volunteer position with the same organization as a microchip coordinator. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. My family pets over the past 22 years were 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixes that all lived to be seniors. I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own. Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis. Please understand that while we have experience with senior dogs and dogs with special needs, we are currently unable to book dogs that are experiencing incontinence (even with diapers) and night time pacing/spatial disorientation/sleeplessness that comes with senility. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. I have a secure, fenced in yard with many areas to explore and space to run around. All gates are padlocked. I also stay outside with the dogs that are in my care. I leave a full bowl of water out 24 -7. I allow dogs to sleep in my bed if that is what they are accustomed to, I can also crate them if that is preferred. Your dog(s) will be safe and happy as guests in my home. I have a Red Cross Certification in Pet First Aid in the rare occasion there would be a need. I am also sensitive to dogs with thunder and firework fears, we have a comfy furnished basement space that mutes the bad sounds and we hang out there until everything calms down.

About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was in high school! I had three dogs growing up, always had roommates with dogs and I just watched a friends dog for over a year while he looked for a place that allowed dogs. We have a large fenced yard with LOTS of room to run around and play. I’m currently a stay at home mom so I’m home to let dogs out as needed and allow them to not be crated all day! I’m home with my baby 6 days a week so I’m able to let your dog out as often as they need and we can go on walks as often as needed as well. I have a fenced in yard and a small relaxed dog here that loves to snuggle. We allow the dogs on our couch and when they aren’t resting we have an expansive, grass filled yard for the dogs to play. Dogs can either sleep in a crate or on a dog bed in our room with us. We also have a sunny back deck that our dog loves to sun bathe on!

As a mini dachshund owner, I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet. About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals from dogs to cats and even rats. I have pet-sat for neighbors and family since I was 15 and 3 cats of my own at home. I have also dealt with animals with special needs including my family dog that has seizures and another family dog that is deaf, blind and has to receive insulin injections after every meal. My schedule is currently very open and I am available any day throughout the week as well as weekends. I am not currently looking for too many overnight stays because I do have 3 cats of my own to watch after. I have 3 very spoiled cats of my own that gets all of the attention that I can provide as well as daily play time and brushing. I keep to a very strict feeding schedule because one of my cat does have some food insecurity issues so I try to be very mindful of that. While taking care of my family’s dogs that require medical attention, I keep a check off list next to the food in order to insure that their medications that are either taken with or taken right after food are administered accordingly.
About: I’ve always had pets as an child , which has led into my adulthood. My first love has always been animals inwhich has carried over to my 8 year old son, Karter 😊. I’ve had mostly big dogs until the age of 20. I can walk, feed, and bathe as I’ve done for my own dogs as well as my family and friends. I currently just retired from the Army so I have open availability on the weekdays and weekends as I now have much time on my hands. I live in a pet-friendly gated community, I am able to provide physical stimulation, hugs and cooking special meals if needed. I am also available to come to your home and care for your pet!
About: I grew up loving and having many pets. As I’m older now and changing careers would love to take care of others babies while they are away. I know how hard it is to find the right person. I help my family members all the time with their pets when they are away. I am able to walk or come feed pets anytime during the day or night. If you need someone to spend the night I can do this as well. I will ensure all your animals needs are taken care of from feeding, play time and snuggling if they like that. I would make sure they are on their leashes and safe before we go on walks.
About: I have owned dogs for most of my life. My experience ranges from small/mini dog breeds to large labradors. I love all types of dogs! I have house sat for multi dog houses and love to take dogs on walks. I work from home, so I thankfully have some flexibility. I am available M-F anytime between 12 and 2. I can potentially do other times M-F, but have a little less flexibility. Feel free to ask about if I'm available. I'm available again M-F after 5. Saturdays I an available all day and Sundays I am available after 12 I always try to keep them within eye sight. I make sure their energy gets out since a tired dog is a happy dog. Lastly, I ensure they get endless pets and snuggles (if they like snuggles)
