Currently, I own 4 lovely cats(all rescues!), ages ranging from the siblings at 2 and the old man at 16. About: I didn’t grow up with cats, but my husband did, and through him and my work as a pet groomer, I’ve learned a lot about feline care. I'm a college educated man that can care for animals just about any time. I'm good at gaining trust with animals and building a relationship with them that makes care much easier. I prefer to go to clients home just because I have a little dog at home that's only 10lbs. Since most dogs outsize him, I'm not particularly comfortable bringing other dogs or cats into his domain. Everything from domestic shorthair to Bengal-mix and Schnauzers to German Shepherds. Our oldest cats have lived 18 years, and I currently own four cats (all rescues, aged 2 to 16). Our oldest dogs have lived 15+ I believe, but it's been a long time since owning one (my parents are disabled). I have done a bit of training with dogs and cats alike, but I am not a professional. This includes overnights, emergencies, and short/extended stays. All of the cats are treated with flea medication and I clean multiple litter boxes several times a week. For friends and family, I have had feeding schedules for both dogs and cats, ranging from custom mixed and weighed portions to simply making sure the auto-feeders/fountains are kept clean and filled. My best friend's dog gets playtime and outside time (he has a runner and a ton of toys to play fetch with).
