“Our two dogs (Riley and Maxwell) had the pleasure of spending Halloween with Jan, Kaio, and Anik! The dogs had the best time with their friends playing in the yard and getting dressed up with their puppy friends in costumes! While we were out trick or treating with our kids, we received photos of them dressed up as Chucky and a Ghostbuster. It was so nice to know that our dogs were having a great time. This took a lot pressure of my wife and I so we could really focus on making sure our two kids had our full focus on their Halloween night. When we picked them up the next morning, Anik handed us a magnet of the photo of them dressed up in costumes with their puppy friends! So sweet and thoughtful. It is displayed proudly on the refrigerator at home! They have gone above and beyond both times they have stayed with them. Maxwell and Riley can’t wait to go back again soon!”

We were concerned about how Zhuri would do with other animals, especially cats, but she got along well with Serria’s two dogs and cat. Serria sent daily photos of Zhuri bonding and relaxing with her eldest dog. One picture showed Zhuri outside in her spacious, fenced yard, where they had plenty of room to run and play. It was clear Zhuri felt comfortable in her home. Serria cared for our sweet girl as if she were her own. She was kind, responsive, and made the entire experience stress-free. He peered out the window when we were leaving because he didn’t want to go. Parker spent most of his time with Miller and Charlie, and they all seemed comfy. Miller got many cuddles from Parker, which is awesome to see, and I picked Parker up, he was happy but not relieved. You never want your pup to run out like, “oh God you’re here! Take me home now.” If I stayed and chatted, he probably would have relaxed and played with Charlie more. It was comforting to know my guy (a senior) was safe and happy during his visit.”

About: •Dog walking: I have two energetic Labrador Retrievers . Saying so I have great patience with being pulled to smell plants or even the excitement of seeing other people being pulled. So while away you can be comforted knowing your dog isn’t being jerked or punished for just being a dog. They’ll have enough time to get some of that crazy or little energy they do have. So when you arrive home you can smile knowing they got a little adventure out of their day. •Dog sitting/Check-ins: It’s nerve wrecking trusting someone with your best friend. Having my own two dogs I would treat your baby with highest quality of care. Plenty of bathroom breaks, with time to get a breath of fresh air from being inside. Time devoted for playtime to keep your best friend busy so there will be little time for any accidents. I am currently work from home full-time with extra time in-between my schedule. I have plenty of time to do drop in visits to give your fur babies the care they need. So your time apart is less stressful on you and as well as them while missing you. Care in client home: You are trusting me to come into your home and take care of your loved one. I will give your pet the upmost respect and love you’d give. I know personally how stressful it can be wondering if someone is giving your pet enough water or being fed properly. I want to make this time apart easy on the both of you. I have such a high expectation for those who watch my dogs so i want to give your pets the best care possible. In my home care: While not being in your pets comfort zone away in a different spot. I can promise they will get plenty of love and comfort. I allow my dogs on my couch where they get plenty of cuddles as well as in my bed. They do sleep with me off and on. I know it can be a little hesitant with a little one around. But I make sure my daughter respects pets boundaries and does not crawl all over them or put them into an uneasy situation.

About: Hello and welcome! I'm Heather, but I go by Xel (pronounced •zel•) and it's nice to meet you! I have owned more dogs and cats (as well as a ferret, lizard, fish, and a spider and have handled various others) than I can count through the years (I'm almost 40 and we've had a LOT!). Everything from domestic shorthair to Bengal-mix and Schnauzers to German Shepherds. I have house-sat for both friends and family for many years (short and extended!) and I have administered medicine in pill form, as well as inhaler (would be willing to learn injections if necessary). Our oldest cats have lived 18 years, and I currently own four cats (all rescues, aged 2 to 16). Our oldest dogs have lived 15+ I believe, but it's been a long time since owning one (my parents are disabled). I have done a bit of training with dogs and cats alike, but I am not a professional. This includes overnights, emergencies, and short/extended stays. As long as there is clear communication, I'll do my best to aid in any situation, even if it's within the hour! ♡ For our own cats, our oldest, Max, has to be fed separately from the others, as he needs a higher calorie diet than the others. All of the cats are treated with flea medication and I clean multiple litter boxes several times a week. For friends and family, I have had feeding schedules for both dogs and cats, ranging from custom mixed and weighed portions to simply making sure the auto-feeders/fountains are kept clean and filled. My best friend's dog gets playtime and outside time (he has a runner and a ton of toys to play fetch with). My Aunt's cat would need constant watch, as he needed an inhaler if he walked too far or his anxiety flared. I'm also open to doing light chores, so feel free to reach out with any and all questions! I have run a kennel of up to qw5 dogs by myself, supervised at doggy daycare, trained as a vet tech assistant for almost a year, and am a trained groomer. About: •Dog walking: I have two energetic Labrador Retrievers . Saying so I have great patience with being pulled to smell plants or even the excitement of seeing other people being pulled. So while away you can be comforted knowing your dog isn’t being jerked or punished for just being a dog. They’ll have enough time to get some of that crazy or little energy they do have. So when you arrive home you can smile knowing they got a little adventure out of their day. •Dog sitting/Check-ins: It’s nerve wrecking trusting someone with your best friend. Having my own two dogs I would treat your baby with highest quality of care. Plenty of bathroom breaks, with time to get a breath of fresh air from being inside. Time devoted for playtime to keep your best friend busy so there will be little time for any accidents. I am currently work from home full-time with extra time in-between my schedule. I have plenty of time to do drop in visits to give your fur babies the care they need. So your time apart is less stressful on you and as well as them while missing you. Care in client home: You are trusting me to come into your home and take care of your loved one. I will give your pet the upmost respect and love you’d give. I know personally how stressful it can be wondering if someone is giving your pet enough water or being fed properly. I want to make this time apart easy on the both of you. I have such a high expectation for those who watch my dogs so i want to give your pets the best care possible. In my home care: While not being in your pets comfort zone away in a different spot. I can promise they will get plenty of love and comfort. I allow my dogs on my couch where they get plenty of cuddles as well as in my bed. They do sleep with me off and on. I know it can be a little hesitant with a little one around. But I make sure my daughter respects pets boundaries and does not crawl all over them or put them into an uneasy situation.
