I could tell by Jackie's body language, in the pictures I received, that she was not as traumatized as I feared she would be. This was her first boarding alone, as we had recently lost her brother. Though I know that I will need to continue to work on socializing Jackie, I truly believe that Kelsey's patience and kindness will help with that immensely. About: I’ve always had animals in my life. I worked on horse farms, pet-sit for my neighbors and friends, and have dabbled with fostering cats and dogs for local rescues. Dogs have a special place in my heart. I’ve owned Shelties, Labs, Golden Retrievers, and rescued Heinz 57 mixes over the years. 😝 I have experience with dogs of all ages as well. I am able to give medicine if needed. I am currently home full-time with my two kids, one dog, and three cats. I am available weekdays and weekends in June and July, along with weekends and some holiday weeks throughout the rest of the year. I offer in-home boarding with a family environment. The dogs are part of my daily life. I allow them to be on furniture and sleep in the bed. I want your fur-baby to feel like part of my family while you are away. I have an extra large fenced-in yard for playing and potty breaks. I have a two-year old mix who gets along well with other non-aggressive dogs and loves to play, as well as be a couch potato during naps. I have two children(4 and 9), that will also be at home at the time your pup is visiting. I also have multiple sets of stairs in my home--If your dog struggles with stairs, has arthritis, or knee/hip issues, I would not recommend my services.

When we first met Kimberly and her husband they were very attentive and asked all the right questions. Kimberly made us feel at ease on our trip with daily pictures and messages and reassured any questions we had about Teddy while we were away. I build my schedule around clients needs. Mine eat at 8 AM and 6 pm and get outside for fresh air and a bio bark every 4-5 hours. In a client's home, I leave absolutely no trace I have ben there. Extreme attention to detail, respect for your environment, and I follow instructions with precision. In my home, I follow the schedule I am given and keep a low and slow approach, giving them space, time, and calm/quiet emotional support to adjust. I’ve had big dogs, small dogs, kittens, puppies, bunnies, birds, turtles, hamsters, gerbils, and shoot even ducks. With your approval I may take them to the dog park to let them run - as long as that is something you enjoy with them. I live on a private road with only 3 other homes. There is almost no traffic so walking is relaxing and safe. Two of my neighbors have dogs, plus there are deer, armadillos, woodchucks, squirrels, chipmunks, and birds to entertain the sniffers and excite the barkers. My house is large and simply furnished with lots of spots for a nap and room for inside play when the weather is uninviting. I have a dog that is my morning girl. She will get up at 5 am and we go get breakfast and go outback for potty break. We go out at 8 am for a walk and usually have the doggy dog open for them to go outback back for the bathroom during the day. Harley in her 12 years has only ever been watched by family and an occasional friend but never left alone for the entire stay and only looked in on for walks. She was so delightful and close to us that she did 2 separate meet and greets to calm my nerves. She texted us every day and gave a detailed report on Harley and how she was doing on her walks and girlfriend was thriving. Even when she seemed to have gotten a reaction to something Jace was on it right away even offering to take her to the vet, of course this was no reflection on Jace just a freak coincidence that could’ve even happened when my husband or I walked Harley. I have a fenced yard and two dogs of my own who are both pretty small (Yorkie and shihpoo). Our stairs are usually too big for them but over their size it’s pretty easy to go up and down. But if need I have a good amount of space to crate any pets needed as well.
About: Hi, my name is Tessa and I am 29 years old with a bachelors of science in biology from Penn State University. I have been an animal lover ever since I was little and have grown myself professionally in the animal field over the last several years! I am a trained professional in administering medication via orally and through injection, therefore, if your pet needs any medication I will not have an issue administering it. I have cared for dogs of all sizes from Chihuahuas to Great Danes, thus, the size and breed of your dog is irrelevant to me. I have owned dogs who were partially blind, completely deaf, had autoimmune diseases and one in which had epilepsy. Special needs pets and reactive pets are welcome in my care. If you are looking for a responsible, knowledgeable animal caretaker- look no further! My schedule is currently completely open on Saturdays and Sundays when it comes to making sure your fur baby is well cared for from 6:00am-11:30pm. When walking your pup, rest assured, they will be leashed at all times. If you would like off leash exercise for your dog, we will remain in a secured area for the safety of your dog.

“My fur baby is not easy to interact with due to her anxiety issues. Kelsey was understanding and patient during Jackie's first visit as daycare and her subsequent five day boarding stay. I could tell by Jackie's body language, in the pictures I received, that she was not as traumatized as I feared she would be. This was her first boarding alone, as we had recently lost her brother. Though I know that I will need to continue to work on socializing Jackie, I truly believe that Kelsey's patience and kindness will help with that immensely. I definitely plan to reach out to Kelsey & Marcus in the future.”
About: I’ve always had animals in my life. I worked on horse farms, pet-sit for my neighbors and friends, and have dabbled with fostering cats and dogs for local rescues. Dogs have a special place in my heart. I’ve owned Shelties, Labs, Golden Retrievers, and rescued Heinz 57 mixes over the years. 😝 I have experience with dogs of all ages as well. I am able to give medicine if needed. I am currently home full-time with my two kids, one dog, and three cats. I am available weekdays and weekends in June and July, along with weekends and some holiday weeks throughout the rest of the year. I offer in-home boarding with a family environment. The dogs are part of my daily life. I allow them to be on furniture and sleep in the bed. I want your fur-baby to feel like part of my family while you are away. I have an extra large fenced-in yard for playing and potty breaks. I have a two-year old mix who gets along well with other non-aggressive dogs and loves to play, as well as be a couch potato during naps. I have two children(4 and 9), that will also be at home at the time your pup is visiting. I also have multiple sets of stairs in my home--If your dog struggles with stairs, has arthritis, or knee/hip issues, I would not recommend my services.
