About: Your pet baby will receive loving care when they are with me. My husband and I treat fur babies like our own six grown children. I have businesses online. My schedule is flexible. I can work during various times during the day. We can discuss you and your daily needs for your fur baby. When walking your dog, I will give him or her my full attention. I walk a dog on the side of me away from the street.
About: Hi there! I’m Sara, your pet’s new best friend 🐾 I’m located in the Kennesaw/Acworth area. With over 15 years of pet care experience, I am eager to help pet parents with their fur babies in any way I can! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them truly brings me joy. I’m a naturally gentle, patient, trustworthy and reliable person. I love building real bonds with the pets I watch. I have experience with both dogs and cats. I also have a background as a veterinary technician, so you can feel confident your fur baby is in knowledgeable hands. Some things I can help with: • Daily walks & playtime • Feeding & routine care • Medication • Lots of love, attention, and updates 🩷 I have my own transportation and can be available as needed. I treat every pet (and house) like they’re my own, and I’d be honored to care for yours! I have a pretty flexible schedule. I can accommodate my schedule to your pet’s needs so that you get the most out of my care. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes through house sitting and drop-in visits, so pets are able to stay in their familiar environment and routine. I believe this helps reduce stress and keeps them comfortable while their owners are away. During house sitting, I treat your home and pets with the same care and respect as my own. I follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and bedtime routines exactly as requested. I also make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment based on their personality and energy level.
About: I have walked and cared for a variety of kinds of dogs for a variety of years and always include play/pet time. I have helped with puppy training and also cared for the seniors who need a little extra love and patience. With 2 high-energy dogs of my own I understand the importance of a long walk and time to burn off some energy! I currently work part-time on the weekends, so my greatest amount of flexibility is during weekdays. I do my best to schedule during times when I have availability to spend adequate quality time with the pets! Unfortunately due to my own animals I am unable to provide care for other animals from my own home, however I have experience staying in the homes of a variety of other clients which has helped keep their animals comfortable and on their usual schedule.
“We have a hectic household with 3 dogs that don’t all walk together. Tanya walked all of them great and was super amenable to all the extras we needed to make it work. We highly recommended her!”

About: I am currently a vet technician, train and care for pitbuls, labs, golden retrievers, in French bulldogs. I have had experience walking, administering medicine, staying overnight with animals, etc. I have had at least 15 years experience in this area. In the past, my husband I used to breed Golden retrievers. I have also on my own horse and I care for her myself everyday. I'm a very kind-hearted, trustworthy, gentle person. I am very organized and timely. I do not have any children with me at this time. I have also cared for various breeds of cats, birds and fish. I live in a very quiet family in oriented condominium with two bedrooms. I am also a very relaxed and confident and positive person.

“Rachel does an amazing job with our Shih Tzu! She always comes as expected and he looks forward to her visits. She always leaves a detailed review of their time together along with pictures!”

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is that i have a good grip on the needs and wants of the animals. I also have servel years of experience in dealing with large dogs. I have quite a bit of free time, though i go out on Wednesday and Friday, and I might be getting a job soon, so I am not sure how much time I will have further on. I care for them both in and outside the house, with attention, care, treats, and anything else that the dog or cat might need or want.

“Michael was great and very attentive, he’s very flexible and willing to work with you to make sure your pet is taken care of, extremely friendly person, Rohan can be a bit skiddish with new people but after the meet and greet with Michael he couldn’t get enough, Michael came in time and made sure Rohan was in great spirits after a nice walk and take care of. Will definitely be using him again.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting pretty much my entire life. I have a BS in Zoo and Wildlife Biology and work as a dog trainer. I have both cats and dogs of my own who are my world. I know dog and cat cpr and can administer medications. I work from home so my days are flexible. I enjoy walking and would love to take your dog with me. I am also open to taking them on little adventures if that’s something they enjoy. I have worked as a dog trainer for years so I know how to safely handle all sizes and temperaments. I have also owned cats for many years and can care for small mammals and reptiles.
About: I am now an officially licensed and insured business named “Purr & Grrr LLC.” I’ve had my own dog and cat for the past 15 years. I have also house sitted and watched other dogs and cats as well. I’ve worked as a practice manager at a pet hospital for years. Due to recent events, I will not take dogs that are not neutered for boarding. My cat stays in my bedroom with no interactions with any of the dogs. I usually ask with requests about excessive barking, crate training, how they sleep, and how they interact with other dogs. ADDED SERVICE - At request, my girlfriend does Reiki for people and pets. $55 charge per session for animals and $100 for a 60 minute session for people. Mini sessions for $60. When booking, please let me know if you are interested. Her company is called Cosmic Balance. Thank you! UPDATE. You will see a recent review for me from an owner who wasn’t honest about the dog and his behaviors and how he treated his dog with “training.” I don’t want to share the details of what his dog did because it was horrible and he laughed about it. I have and always will take the action that is for the safety and care of all of the pets I care for as I do this because I love animals. All of them. So the updates for safety that I have taken are the following. 1. All dogs unless they are from the same family will be outside by themselves. 2. While they will never be out with another dog besides a related dog, I have purchased pepper spray, dog whistles, and several other items to react in such a situation if anything happens. 3. I’ve lowered the amount of pets that I take at a time. 4. I thoroughly ask questions and vet whoever I’m watching to make sure it’s safe for all parties. 5. I have always had cameras wherever the pets are, and will continue to do so. 6. I have a calming pets video playing 24/7 for all pets. 7. I have a thermometer that monitors temperatures at all times and sets off alarms if it’s too low or too high. 8. I will no longer watch breeds that can be aggressive. Unfortunately this individual treated their dog with abuse in his response and something triggered him to attack another friends dog in my care that I needed to respond in order to break up his dog attacking another dog that resulted in two surgeries requiring a complete reconstruction of her ear and an infection with pet bills that he paid for, not rover. That poor dogs owner can attest to that and has been in communication and I will continue to be her dog sitter because her dog is so sweet and wouldn’t even know how to defend herself. The situation upset me deeply and this person was vindictive and manipulative. I’ve never encountered something like this before or a human being who would laugh at such a thing, or attempt to harm my business in such a way. Please be assured that your pet will be treated with care, safety, and kindness. I work full time but I live 10 minutes from my job. All pets get walked frequently and checked on frequently and are well taken care of. I’m in a house now with a fenced in backyard with plenty of room. I have crates, bowls, toys, and plenty of space in the house where the pets will stay. It is climate controlled along with cameras, TVs, a very large play area, and calming music is played at all times.
“Bella is amazing! She gave me tons of updates and pictures, helping me feel confident that my pets were happy and okay while I travelled. I could not recommend her more!”

Leah is so patient & kind! She sat with my anxious puppy to warm him up to her scent before walking him. I also appreciate her dedication- I had somewhere to be at the last minute, and she was flexible and able to come walk him. Super trustworthy- I will definitely hire her again! Thank you Leah!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
