“Nora did an amazing job with both of my cats while we were out of town!! She made sure that they had everything they needed and always sent pictures and updates about her trip! So grateful to have someone I can trust with my kitties.”

“We booked Brooke for 6 drop-in visits after doing a meet and greet. She was great with our two doggies and was punctual and thorough on each visit. Our doggies really liked her and she even went above and beyond and brought in our mail, unasked, in our absence, We will definitely book Brook again the next time we go on vacation!”

“This was my first time using Rover and hiring someone to come into my home, I was very nervous and skeptical trusting someone to look after my baby but I really needed someone help and Emily felt safe. She promptly communicated with me and took on a kind of last minute meet and greet and booking. While checking in on stormi she was very interactive with me sending videos and photos updating how she was doing, which really helped because I was anxious about how stormi was doing for her first time with a sitter and ultimately a stranger. I think Stormi loved Emily and I will be using her in the future!”

“Kayla - is just the kind of spirit you’d want to watch your dog. She was kind, timely, willing to go above and beyond and made sure our puppy was right at home and on schedule. We will definitely work with her again. We know our dog loved her!”

“Our kitties love her visits to play! She is always very reliable and makes a concerted effort to get to know our pets and make them feel comfortable. I we use her once a week and plan to continue to do so. Highly recommend her!!!”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my entire life and have experience caring for pets of all ages, personalities, and energy levels. Cats have always held a special place in my heart. I grew up in a home with 11 cats, and today I have two cats and two dogs of my own. I’m also experienced with senior pet care, as one of my dogs is 13 years old, so I understand the importance of patience and consistency and paying close attention to a pet’s individual needs. I provide dog walking, drop in visits, feeding, fresh water, playtime, litter box cleaning, potty breaks, medication (if needed and with instructions), and plenty of love and attention while you’re away. I know every pet has a unique personality! I will always take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for! I’m currently studying Environmental Science with the goal of working in wildlife conservation, so caring for animals is something I’m genuinely passionate about! My schedule is very flexible. I work part time a few evenings each week, with most shifts starting around 5:00 PM, but outside of those shifts I have plenty of availability for morning, afternoon, and some evening visits. I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible and will communicate clearly. I currently work part-time a few evenings each week, usually starting around 5:00 PM. This gives me plenty of availability during the mornings and afternoons for drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, litter box cleaning, and giving your pets the attention they deserve. On days I’m working, I’ll communicate my schedule clearly, and on my days off I have even more flexibility to accommodate your pet’s needs. I understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, and I do my best to keep them comfortable by following your instructions directly. I’ll make sure your kitty cat has fresh food and water, a clean litter box, plenty of playtime or quiet companionship depending on their personality, and lots of love and attention. While cats are my specialty, I love dogs too! Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playing fetch, getting belly rubs, or simply having someone around to keep them company, I’m happy to make sure they receive the care, attention, and exercise they need. I know pets are family, and I will care for yours with the same dedication and kindness I give my own! I respect your home and will always provide updates and photos while you’re away!!
“Sara is communicative, responsive and punctual! She plays with my kittens and pay attention to what they need. I’m grateful for her and highly recommend her to anyone that need help with their pets while away from home”

“Tracy is amazing dog sitter who takes care of our fur baby. Right off the bat when we first met her we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our high energy dog. I highly recommend Tracy!”

“Brianna was the best and gave our kitty so much love and playtime while we were away. She was a great communicator and really went the extra mile to send pictures and updates of our little guy every day. Will be using her again for sure!”

“Geena was fantastic with my kitty Bindi! She was always on time and sent me several pictures and detailed descriptions of what all happened on the visit! Super appreciative of her!”

“Terry is the best sitter— responsible, attentive, and reliable! She took such wonderful care of my two kitties while I was away—it’s clear she truly loves animals. She kept me updated with daily photos and messages, which gave me much peace of mind. When I got home, my cats were happy, and clearly well cared for. Thank you, Terry, for treating my fur babies like your own!”

“Elizabeth is a great communicator! Our cats are shy, so she didn't get to play with them, but she did get pictures of them! She showed up when I asked her to--I didn't have to worry while I was out of town. Also, she was able to accommodate me on short notice--thank you!”

About: Hi! We’re the Williams Family. My husband and I have had dogs our entire lives, but we lost our two good boys in 2024 and 2025. We really miss having dogs around to cuddle and play with. I’m a stay at home mom with two boys that attend school during the day. There’s typically someone home all throughout the day. We have a large fenced in backyard. I always walk dogs on a leash. We also have an old cat that is dog-friendly too!
About: I've had a variety of pets since I was little--from a pet pig, dog, and sphinx cat-- in addition to the one I have now. Caring for these pets has given me a variety of skills to make sure your dog is safe and has fun at the same time. Whether it's dog walking, playtime, and cleaning--your dog is in good hands! I am currently a full-time student at Georgia State studying Journalism and Law and I work part-time at CraveWell Cafe. However, most of my classes are online and I mostly work closing shifts so I am always free in the mornings and sometimes weekends. My schedule is pretty flexible though if you let me know when you want me to pet sit in advance! To care for pets, is to treat them like your best friend. When I meet a dog for the first time we are instantly best friends. With my dog-sitting, not only will your dog be in trusted hands, but they will also make a new best friend along the way!
“Madeline was amazing! She was happy to do everything I asked. One of my cats is extremely skittish around strangers and is usually so stressed out when I get home. But after a couple of days, she stopped hiding from Madeline, and she was the most relaxed she’s ever been when I got home.”

About: I have had dogs and cats all of my life and cannot imagine my life without them. I have taken care of all of my neighbors pets for the past 10 years and would love to take care of yours. I have two dogs currently who always enjoy extra visitors. I have worked as a nurse for the past 26 years and when I retire I would love to make this a full time job!! Let ME love and take care of your babies!!! I am currently working part time and would be available after 4 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and all day on Wednesdays and the weekends. I have a lovely fenced in yard and two of my own babies to keep yours company. I will sit outside with them and love on them as much as they let me!!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Chattahoochee Plantation
Consistently, Terry is incredibly considerate and thoughtful when it comes to caring for our cat. Whether we’re gone for a night or a week, stuck in the hospital or coming home early, we never worry about if Murphy is entertained, fed, and loved on when we aren’t with her. Thank you so much again, Terry!

Shay is absolutely wonderful! Although she's only ever seen one of our cats 😹, she takes amazing care of both of them. She always leaves detailed updates with lots of photos, which gives us so much peace of mind while we're away. Rigatoni clearly adores her. She runs to the door for pets, happily plays with her, and even knows Shay is the treat lady!

Laura was perfect for our kitty Casper and provided updates and pictures to keep us up to date. She even came over before the pet-sitting for a meet and greet with our pet. Couldn't recommend here enough and will be happy to request her again for next time. Thank you Laura!

Maria was super responsive and checked in with me almost everyday while I was out on vacation to made sure my cat had everything he needed to be taken care of. She sent notes and pics, and kept the space tidy when I got back. Would totally recommend her for catsitting!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Chattahoochee Plantation. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
