Adam is a natural with animals of all kinds. And Adam loves them as much as they love him. I’ve seen him make both cats and dogs feel comfortable and safe. I’ve seen him dog whisper a pug who wasn’t comfortable around children. The child was also nervous. By being calm he was able to help both dog and child be calm and safe. He’s been a loving pet parent himself of at least a dozen cats, dogs, and even a reptile or two! He’s kind, responsible, and you can be sure that your pets will be well cared for!

Pet care fits naturally and comfortably into my daily and weekly routine. I’m a professional counselor who is currently in between roles, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to focus on high-quality, attentive pet care. Because of this flexibility, I’m able to be fully present—whether that means unhurried drop-ins, longer visits, consistent feeding and medication schedules, regular walks, or simply spending calm, quality time with your pet. I’m not rushing in and out between commitments, and I can adjust my day to meet your pet’s specific needs. My background as a counselor also shapes how I care for animals: I’m patient, observant, and attuned to subtle changes in behavior or stress. This allows me to provide a steady, reassuring presence, especially for pets who are anxious, sensitive, or thrive on routine. In short, pet care isn’t something I squeeze in—it’s something I can prioritize, giving your pet the time, consistency, and care they deserve. 🐾

I tailor my care to each pet’s needs, whether I’m caring for them in my home or in their own familiar space. I live in a quiet apartment with my own cat, who is friendly, well-socialized, and gets along well with both dogs and other cats. When pets stay with me, I prioritize a calm, structured environment with close supervision, gradual introductions when appropriate, and plenty of individual attention. I’m mindful of stress levels and always follow the pet’s usual routines around feeding, play, rest, and medications. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining consistency and comfort—keeping their schedule, environment, and habits as familiar as possible. I’m flexible with visit frequency and length, and I adjust care based on the pet’s age, temperament, medical needs, and energy level. Whether a pet needs brief check-ins, extended companionship, extra walks, or quiet presence, I adapt accordingly. Across all settings, my goal is the same: thoughtful, attentive care that helps pets feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away.
