“I cannot recommend Karen enough. This was our first time using Rover since moving to Georgia and we could not have been in better hands. During one of her drop-in visits she noticed something was wrong with Elmer, took him straight to the emergency vet, stayed with him until 11pm, and kept us updated the entire time while we were out of town. She went so far above and beyond what anyone could ever expect. We are so grateful for her kindness and quick thinking. If you want someone who will treat your pet like their own, she’s your person. 🐾”

“We have worked with a few sitters now and for a last minute trip we found Ana. She is by far the best we have worked with and will work with her going forward. She is the most detailed sitter we have used and her visits are exactly on time. It provides peace of mind while we are traveling. She is amazing!”
“Cass was absolutely amazing and we couldn’t recommend her enough! She took the best care of our sweet girl while we were away and provided the most wonderful updates throughout our trip. We are usually so nervous/anxious when having to leave but this was the first time I was completely at ease our entire time away. We will definitely be using Cass again in the future!”

“Katie has watched Maggie Mae and Milo for a few months now on drop in visits and she has done amazing. She is so loving and caring to both of the dogs. She gives great updates on how the day went and makes sure the dogs have everything they need. Katie truly does take care of them like her own and they absolutely loved spending time with her. I could not have asked for a better sitter than Katie.”

“Violeta has taken care of our senior cat, Leonard, twice now and both times we came home to a happy and well cared for kitty. And that's considering that he is a high needs cat with a cancer diagnosis that has to take 6 medications in varying amounts on different days. Violeta took this on with no problem and we're very grateful for all her hard work. We will definitely be rebooking her in the future.”

“Sara is communicative, responsive and punctual! She plays with my kittens and pay attention to what they need. I’m grateful for her and highly recommend her to anyone that need help with their pets while away from home”

“Valerie has been the absolute best pet sitter and friend I’ve had for my baby Aston, and he’s had many. I wanted to have someone who had experience with Senior dogs and had the loving and compassionate personality for them - and that was Valerie to a TEE. The attention to detail to both Aston and the home, patience, constant communication and loads of love for Aston are so refreshing to have and put me at complete peace during my trip. And I’m usually a bit worried the whole time. Aston immediately warmed to her and had the calmest demeanor during and after their visits. That tells me everything I need to know. So happy to have her as our new primary pet sitter!”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs for around 20 years, so I’m used to the needs of pets, and try my best to make sure they are as happy and comfortable as possible! I love being around animals, and treat every new friend with kindness and respect. If you’re looking for someone to walk, play, or just hang around with your pet, you’ve come to the right place!! I work during the afternoons, but I’m consistently free during the evenings for overnight stays! I have a break in my day around 3pm-4:45pm, so I’d be able to come by and check in on your pet as well. Feel free to reach out with your dates/times! While I can't offer my own living space for your pets, I can take care of them however you would normally. I’m very adaptable to each and every pet personality!

“Brook H. is such a wonderful sitter for my crew. She is attentive, thorough and sends great pictures to me along the stay. Brook is proactive if any dog is off their feed or not behaving properly. Thanks to Brook for all you do!!!”

About: Hi! I’ve been caring for pets since I was about 10 years old, starting with dog sitting for neighbors in my community. Over the years, that experience has grown into a genuine passion for working with animals of all kinds. I currently have both a dog and a cat of my own and have grown up around them, so I’m very comfortable with their needs, behaviors, and personalities. I have hands-on experience with dogs, cats, fish, and guinea pigs, and I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique needs and personality. Whether it’s going on walks, sticking to feeding routines, or just providing companionship, I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. I’m reliable, attentive, and committed to making sure both you and your pets have a great experience. I’m a stay-at-home mom, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide drop-ins and walks based on your pet’s routine. I’m able to be consistent and reliable, whether that’s morning, midday, or afternoon care. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal schedule to help them feel comfortable and maintain their routine while you’re away. It’s great seeing pets feel calm and comfortable in their own space. That’s why I love caring for them in their home, where everything is familiar and less stressful while you’re away. I stick closely to their normal routines and do my best to keep them happy, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Kati was a life saver! Our normal sitter had to cancel last minute and Kati came to the rescue. She looked after our two cats while we were gone and did an amazing job. Her communication was great. We would not hesitate to have Kati watch our cats in the future. Thank you Kati!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life and currently have a 12 year old Great Pyrenese/Chow mix and a 1 year old Corgi so I’m experienced with dogs of all ages and sizes! I have a flexible schedule to fit your needs and recently completed a dog CPR class! I have a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs - available weekday and weekends for boarding, dog walking or drop-ins - pet care is my full time job so I’m here for you and them! I have a large fenced in yard and 2 dogs for your pup to play with! My pups sleep in bed with me but if you would prefer your baby to be crated I can do that too. My pups and I frequent a dog park that I can bring your dogs to as well or we can just go on long walks in my quiet neighborhood!

About: Growing up I was always the go-to girl in my neighborhood for doggy help. I love helping people with things already… and I love a fur baby just as much! Currently searching for a part-time job, and hoping to make some progress here! I’m free whenever somebody needs me and am always willing to help out. I’m good at handling most dogs and cats—being raised with at least two dogs in my house along with a kitty has given me quite the experience with how to deal with most types of dogs and cats!

About: Hi! I'm Sydney, a young adult with a flexible schedule looking to incorporate some pet sitting into my summer. I'm new to Rover, but have been working with and caring for pets for close to 10 years! I love any and all animals, and have the professional experience to back up that enthusiasm! I've cared for pets my whole life, including my own senior cats with specific diet and medicinal needs. I've also cared for dogs of every kind - literally from Shih Tzus to German Shepherds and everything in between! In addition, I have experience with birds, reptiles, and fish: I love exotic pets just as much as I love furry friends. I can't wait to meet yours! Friends and family describe me as responsible and organized - I want you to enjoy your time away from home without worrying about any logistics. My goal is to take excellent care of your pets while also handling the little things: feeding your fish, watering your plants, bringing in your mail, taking out your trash... whatever will make your life easier! I am currently working part time (20-30 hrs/week) at the Chattahoochee Nature Center, so I am locally available and flexible for multiple visits per day. Please reach out for specific times/dates/scheduling details! I am not able to offer boarding services at this time, but am more than happy to adjust my care relative to your home, yard, and spatial needs.
Vandiver Heights cat parents share their Rover experiences
Ana was wonderful with Buddy while we were away! She was reliable, communicative, and gave us so much peace of mind during our trip. Buddy can be very picky and set in his routines, and Ana was incredibly patient and caring with him. We truly appreciated the updates, attention, and care she provided throughout the week. It made it so much easier for us to relax knowing he was being looked after so well. We’re very grateful for all of her help and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and dependable pet sitter. 💛

Violeta always takes care of our senior cat, Leonard, when we go out of town. He is a loving sweet boy but has a lot of medications he has to take daily. We have booked Violeta for home visits on 3 separate occasions now and have been completely satisfied each time. She always makes sure Leonard's medications are administered properly and gives him lots of love. We have no hesitations about recommending Violeta.
