“Flavia was an excellent sitter for Midnight. Midnight is a senior dog and does not favor many people. Flavia and Midnight connected right away. Highly recommend her for your pet and will most definitely request her again.”
“Katie was wonderful! She took the time to coax out our sky kitty as well as give plenty of love to our more relaxed ones. We’d happily have her look after our babies any time.”

“Tara took such good care of our Cat! Right from the start she communicated well with us and provided expert care for our older cat who needs medication twice daily. We could see in the photos he enjoyed her visits and playtime. He was calm and relaxed when we returned home. Tara went above beyond!”

“Amy is absolutely wonderful. I fair warned Amy about my dogs attitude and side eye issues he has and she took it and ran with it and was phenomenal with everything. Being out of town with a separation anxiety dog is extremely hard. All of her pictures were reassuring, and she was a great communicator”

“Donna took wonderful care of our two dogs while we were gone. She made us feel so confident that they were well cared for and loved. I appreciate how she kept us in the know with many pics. I’d recommend her for sure!”

“We needed someone quickly and Valery was quick to reply. Her meet and greet went fabulously. The visits were on time and she spent quality time with both dogs. We saw lots of wagging tails in the photos that were sent. We will definitely book Valerie again.”

“Ana was such a good fit for our situation. We have a very unsocial dog who doesn’t love meeting new people. Ana was great at giving him time and space to meet her and get to know her on his terms. Looking forward to booking her again for our upcoming travel!”

“Elizabeth was fabulous. She sent me lots of photos, which I totally appreciated. She also was reliable, punctual and really seemed to like my dogs. Elizabeth even threw the ball for of my dogs, an Aussie, who is very active while my other two -pugs, sat next to her and watched :) Plus, I just really liked and trusted her and I look forward to having her take care of my guys again.”

“Elizabeth was fantastic in taking care of my cat while I was out of town. She’s prompt, professional, friendly, and so very courteous. We kept in contact every day, she provided photos and updates after each visit as well. I highly recommend her! I’ll be asking Elizabeth to take care of my cat again, the next time I travel. Thank you!!!”

About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was a baby. I have had a total of 4 dogs and lots of other animals. I’ve been dog sitting for my family friends dogs for about 9 years. I am currently in school and work a part time job, but I will dog sit after school and sometimes on weekends. During the summer, I will have a lot more availablility. Everyday when I don’t go to school I take my dog to go throw the ball since he has a lot of energy, and throughout the day I take him on walks.
“Molly is the best! She took great care of my dog while I was away. She is my dog watcher the amount of care and attention to detail was absolutely on point. Highly recommend her.”

“I had an absolutely incredible experience with Nicole as our dog sitter! From the very beginning, she was an exceptional communicator, keeping us informed before and during her time with our beloved furry companions. Her attentiveness and warm demeanor instantly put me at ease, allowing me to confidently entrust my dogs to her care. Nicole's genuine dedication and love for animals were evident in the way she interacted with our dogs. She went above and beyond to ensure their happiness and well-being throughout her time with them. Witnessing the joy she brought to our four-legged friends was truly heartwarming. I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am to Nicole for providing such a phenomenal dog-sitting experience. Her professionalism, reliability, and genuine affection for animals shine through in every interaction. I highly recommend Nicole to anyone in need of a compassionate and trustworthy dog sitter. Your furry family members will be in the best possible hands with her!”

About: Growing up with 2 dogs was a special part of my childhood, and I know they deserve the same care and love as any member of the family. I have tons of pet care experience with multiple breeds, sizes and ages! I’m currently a GW grad student, so I have flexibility in between and after classes. I will happily follow any specific care instructions/schedules that are left to me. Your pet will get plenty of play time, and my undivided attention. I’m also happy to take your dog for walks or to the dog park if you’d like. I can’t wait to spend time with your four legged part of the family! I am a full-time student, but I have flexible classes and would LOVE a break from studying to play with your pup! I welcome any way to procrastinate haha There are no pets allowed in my apartment, so I will be coming to you and your dog! I also do not have a car with me, so you’ll have to be within walking distance of the GW University Hospital.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Wiley Bridge Junction
Ginny went over and above my expectations when taking care of my senior cat, Willow. I will continue to use her every time I travel. Willow was receptive and warmed up to her immediately. She continued her allergy medication regimen daily even though Willow isn’t the easiest to dose. Ginny really took care of Willow as if she was her own. She made fun pictures and notes to send when we were away. It put me at ease knowing my baby was in good hands. Thank you Ginny for everything! I’m glad we found you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wiley Bridge Junction. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
