“Molly was wonderful caring for our sweet Theo and Sophia today . i would definitely call Molly back. It is such a joy when u know your fur babies are getting the extra love and care when u are not home and can't give it to them yourself. We came home to happy little pups.”

“I went on a retreat for a few days and I am blown away by the amount of care she gave my girls. It was above and beyond service. I honestly can’t thank her enough. No one can compare to her doggy care. I got emotional reading her messages because they were overflowing with the love and care she gave my girls.”

“Tamara is a stellar pet sitter, she loves my dog Rey and Rey absolutely adores her. Tamara double checks everything to make sure she’s offering the best care possible. She’s a wonderful professional, her reports are full of important details and lovely pictures. I just can’t recommend her enough! Can’t wait for next time”

“Ailen was amazing with my sweet Izzy, who absolutely loved her. It was love at first sight, for sure! Ailen sent me pictures & videos, the whole time I was away at an event & it was evident that Izzy was having so much fun & felt right at home with Ailen. Can’t wait for her to come back next month, when we need to go out of town overnight. I highly recommend Ailen for your sweet dog too! 😊”

“Charis was punctual and sent me a note and several pictures. Prior to the visit, she made this overprotective pet mom feel better by engaging in a video chat. As I ended up in the ER with my husband on the same day, Charis did not hesitate to accept my request for her to come back that night but it ended up not being necessary.”

“I cannot review Emmanuel high enough on how well he took care of our fur babies. He is great with animals. He’s professional, calm, attentive and really just a godsend to us in finding someone we trust our pets with. We will most definitely be utilizing his services again. Five stars hands down!”

“Cass was absolutely amazing and we couldn’t recommend her enough! She took the best care of our sweet girl while we were away and provided the most wonderful updates throughout our trip. We are usually so nervous/anxious when having to leave but this was the first time I was completely at ease our entire time away. We will definitely be using Cass again in the future!”

“Katie is the best!! She provided me with a detailed message of her day to day routine with Marley. Loads of pictures of him that made me smile and worry free. I will surely be booking with her again.”

About: I understand the stress and anxiety that come with leaving your pet in someone else's care because I've been there myself. I also have experience caring for my own high-acuity pets and understand the extra attention, patience, and vigilance they require. My goal is to provide high-quality care so you can feel confident your pet is safe, comfortable, and treated with respect. I also offer care during off-hours in the evening and morning! I'm currently enrolled in college part-time and have plenty of time to ensure your pet's needs are met! I'm available 5 days a week as I designated 2 days towards class lecture and school work. Upon entry of every home, I like to identify any potential hazards or risks so I can be extra viligant and safe when providing care for your pets. Personally, I ensure my own yard is secured and free of potentially harmful plants and objects.
“I had an absolutely incredible experience with Nicole as our dog sitter! From the very beginning, she was an exceptional communicator, keeping us informed before and during her time with our beloved furry companions. Her attentiveness and warm demeanor instantly put me at ease, allowing me to confidently entrust my dogs to her care. Nicole's genuine dedication and love for animals were evident in the way she interacted with our dogs. She went above and beyond to ensure their happiness and well-being throughout her time with them. Witnessing the joy she brought to our four-legged friends was truly heartwarming. I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am to Nicole for providing such a phenomenal dog-sitting experience. Her professionalism, reliability, and genuine affection for animals shine through in every interaction. I highly recommend Nicole to anyone in need of a compassionate and trustworthy dog sitter. Your furry family members will be in the best possible hands with her!”

“Amber is wonderful! She met with us before taking our dog out and made sure everything would be taken care of with our sweet senior dog. She communicates great, is friendly, sent us pictures and videos of our girl and took care of the home. I highly recommend her!”

“Ciera took excellent care of Falkor. She sent pictures to let us know how he was doing during the week we were out of town. We would definitely book with her again when we are away.”

“Caden was great with my babies while I was away. He was able to give my asthmatic cat his inhaler which can be a difficult task to do, especially for someone new. Recommend Caden for anyone in need!”

About: My family got their first dog, Princess, a Chinese Pug, when I was just 7 years old. She brought us joy for many years. We decided to add an addition to the family, Timber, a Golden Retriever, when I was 13. We got a second Golden Retriever, Poulan, when I was 15. These dogs brought me such joy and contentment for so long, when I was 23 I decided to get a dog of my very own. I got Rex, a Golden Retriever/ Labrador Retriever mix, when he was just seven weeks old. He is now my 12 year old fur baby. I wouldn't trade my life with him for anything in the world. I hope my Care and Compassion Fur Companions will ease the pain of separation while you're away from your beloved fur babies; and, know they'll be in loving hands. I work from home so there will be frequent snuggles and potty breaks. It's easiest to do meet and greets in the evening or weekend, but can accommodate a mid-week lunch time meet up if needed. I have a 3 sided fenced yard and my boy, Rex, to help keep your pup company while they are away from their pet parents.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Farmington
This was the first time Valerie took care of my fur baby, but she came in as if it was the hundredth time. It was also my first extended time away in my new home and state, so, I was very skittish about leaving. However, my shy kitty was comfortable almost immediately and I came home to a happy boy. I will absolutely welcome Valerie back for future trips.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Farmington. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
