About: I have adopted and cared for pets I my own home and the homes of friends and family. For dogs, cats, birds, and horses! I am a trained pet groomer with 4 years experience and volunteer whenever I can! Animal care has been my life for the last 9 years, but about 4 1/2 years ago I decided to make a career of it! I am a trained and full time dog groomer and I love to spend my free time caring for pets! I work at home so any and all pet needs can be met on demand. The only times I am out of the home when boarding a dog are occasional dinners with my husband, grocery runs, or meeting pet parents. If there's any special needs to be addressed frequently, I can make the necessary arrangements to accomodate your pet. Thanks to the fact I work from home on my own schedule, I can accommodate just about any unique pet care needs. Even puppies that need to be supervised. My yard is currently unfenced, but it is graded and treated once every quarter for fleas and ticks. We have a local dog park that's 10 minutes outside my neighborhood that I frequent. It has both a small dog and large dog areas sectioned off, as well as a hiking trail if you prefer no off leash parks. I live in the back are of a large neighborhood so there is no traffic at all, it's very quiet and good for dogs that get nervous around street activity. Walks/runs with any dog here will be largely uninterrupted. I have elevated bowl stands for big dogs that need it, flat orthopedic beds and beds with edges depending on what your pet might prefer, including an XL crate if your dog needs to be crated. (I do not crate unless requested or necessary for safety.) I can follow whatever house rules you set for your pet. If you do have any training regiments they must follow, I have experience training dogs and can continue that training in my home. I will send updates often if you allow me to! If you prefer less updates or only scheduled updates, just let me know what works best for you and I'll adjust as requested.
