We decided to add an addition to the family, Timber, a Golden Retriever, when I was 13. We got a second Golden Retriever, Poulan, when I was 15. These dogs brought me such joy and contentment for so long, when I was 23 I decided to get a dog of my very own. I got Rex, a Golden Retriever/ Labrador Retriever mix, when he was just seven weeks old. He is now my 12 year old fur baby. I wouldn't trade my life with him for anything in the world. I hope my Care and Compassion Fur Companions will ease the pain of separation while you're away from your beloved fur babies; and, know they'll be in loving hands. I work from home so there will be frequent snuggles and potty breaks. It's easiest to do meet and greets in the evening or weekend, but can accommodate a mid-week lunch time meet up if needed. About: I have been a client on Rover for a long time. I’ve had many sitters watch my dogs and come in and out of my house. It was always so nerve wracking! Are they trustworthy? Do my dogs like them? About: Hi everyone! Quick update: I understand most people travel home on Sundays, however, it is difficult to take late night appointments and feel rested for the work week. So, I will no longer be taking appointments past 6pm on Sundays unless approved. Also, please be courteous to me, our animals and other pet parents. Please remember this is our private home and not a facility. That comes with a lot of benefits, but some limitations as well. I’ve had a love for animals all my life and have been taking care of various animals since I was a young child. Growing up we had cats, many different dog breeds and even some goats. I’ve raised puppies with different needs such as English Bulldogs, dogue de bordeaux, Belgian Malinois and mixes just the same. I previously worked at a grooming salon. I currently have a French bulldog and a cat. I work from home full time and have my son here at night. I am available whenever needed and can also offer transportation if needed. I have 100% supervision and a not-so-large space with baby gates. I have a 6 year old that is very active so I’m used to being alert/safe all the time.
About: I have watched dogs and cats for multiple neighbors and friends for the past years. I have done both home visits and pet walking in the past. I am a college student so I am flexible with hours and so I can help out most times. I don’t have class every day nor are they very long. I am able to walk pets and clean up after them if needed. I can also feed and crate you dog when I am checking on them.
