About: My family got their first dog, Princess, a Chinese Pug, when I was just 7 years old. She brought us joy for many years. We decided to add an addition to the family, Timber, a Golden Retriever, when I was 13. We got a second Golden Retriever, Poulan, when I was 15. These dogs brought me such joy and contentment for so long, when I was 23 I decided to get a dog of my very own. I got Rex, a Golden Retriever/ Labrador Retriever mix, when he was just seven weeks old. He is now my 12 year old fur baby. I wouldn't trade my life with him for anything in the world. I am very flexible throughout the day. I don’t mind getting up early or staying up late; either option is worth it to spend more time with animals. I am very comfortable around any animal and I am quick to recognize the boundaries they set. With that being said though, I am also able to make it clear that I am the one in charge. Animal relationships are a two-way street and it is imperative that respect is at the forefront of any interaction.

About: I’m a dog owner myself, and I have always had dogs since a little kid, some that I trained as puppies. I also would help neighbors with their dogs, such as walking and watching them when needed. I am home most of time while my kids are in school and what better way to occupy my time than doing something I love and spending time with dogs. I will first make sure the pet feels safe with me. I will engage with them by playing with their favorite toys or going outside to explore.
