Hi there, thanks for visiting my profile, I'm Cass! I was raised in rural Illinois around many different types of pets. I've always had a passion for animals, and that passion just keeps growing! I've worked with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Having owned multiple working-breed dogs, I'm especially comfortable managing energetic, strong-willed, or challenging animals. I'm happy to help with anything your pet needs-walks, feeding, meds, playtime, potty breaks, enrichment, or just hanging out and keeping them company while you're away. I know every pet has their own little quirks and routines, so I always take the time to get to know them and make sure they're comfortable and well cared for.

Safety, trust & environment
Keeping your pet safe is a huge priority to me. I try to keep things familiar, sticking to their usual routine as much as possible. On walks, I will make sure their gear is secure and use a waist belt connection for even more security. I always stay alert and will keep an eye out for traffic, other dogs, or anything risky. Any time I am within your home, whether that be for a quick drop-in or an overnight stay, I will be respectful of your space and make sure everything stays clean and safe for your pet!

Cassidy did such an amazing job taking care of our kitties and keeping everything tidy while we were gone! She went above and beyond, I cannot recommend her enough!
This was our first experience of using Rover to watch our dogs and couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Cassidy. She was very communicative from giving us pictures to status updates daily and was attentive to our dogs' needs. It is really comforting to have someone watch your babies and stay at your home while you are enjoying a much needed vacation.
Cassidy took *excellent* care of our two poms while we were out of town. They are very bonded with us, but she made them just about forget we were gone! We loved the regular photo updates, and the house we returned to was in perfect condition. We came home to happy and cared-for dogs, which is the most important thing above all else. She really went above and beyond what I expected. I can't express how thankful I am for her work, and the comfort I felt leaving my dogs in her care.
We were thrilled with the care that Cass provided to our cat. She communicated daily and sent sweet photos. She has a heart for animals and it shows.
Cassidy is so patient with our anxious senior dog. Her communication skills and attention to detail are top notch and we are so grateful to have found her!

Schedule
At the moment, I am doing Rover full time! Apart from taking care of other client's pets and my own pets, my schedule is fairly flexible! I am currently offering drop-ins, walks, and housesitting (overnights). For housesitting, I will spend 8+ hours with your pet(s) overnight. For the remainder of the time, I will come and go throughout the day to provide care, walks, and quality time with your pet(s). I need this flexibility in order to service other clients and take care of my own pets. At your meet & greet, we can discuss how long your pet(s) can handle being alone throughout the day and come up with an appropriate schedule for them. If your pet(s) requires constant supervision (cannot be alone for more than 4-5 hours), I currently do not have the ability to accept these housesitting requests, as I have daily drop-ins/walks for other clients I must take into account.
