About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have raised them from playful puppies through old age. About 10 years ago, while working as a nanny, I also cared for two energetic husky mixes — from daily walks and playtime to feeding and snuggles. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from the patience and training puppies need to the gentle care older dogs deserve. No matter their age or personality, I’ll love and treat your dog like my own. I work from home, so I’m available Monday–Friday from 8 AM to 5:30 PM. During the day, I usually take 2–3 ten-minute walks and also have time for play in my fenced-in backyard or plenty of cuddle breaks inside. On weekends, I offer boarding with drop-offs anytime after 8 AM on Fridays and pick-ups through 5:30 PM on Mondays. I have a fully fenced-in backyard with 6-foot privacy fencing and gates set up to keep dogs out of anything unsafe. Since I work from home upstairs, dogs will be gated with me so I can always keep an eye on them. If you have an older pup who shouldn’t do stairs, just let me know and I’ll happily adjust to work downstairs with them. On weekends, any errands I run are kept under 2 hours, and I can crate your dog if that makes you more comfortable. I also love sending picture and video updates so you can see how much fun your pup is having while you’re away!
“Emily took great care of our fur babies. She was really flexible with drop off and pick up times as our schedule was dependant on contractors working at our house. Emily sent lots of pictures and videos throughout the day. Wonderful experience.”

About: Animal lover and experienced dog owner with a large fenced backyard for safe play and exercise. I care for every pet as if they were my own and provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and affection. Happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. 😊 I work from home, so I’m around most of the day. Pet care fits easily into my routine since I already plan my day around my own dog. Your pet would get lots of attention, care, and a consistent routine while they’re with me. At my home, pets have a calm, safe space with a large fenced yard for play and plenty of room inside, including extra space if they need a quiet area. I’m home most of the day, so they get lots of attention and care.I also have a friendly dog, and I always make sure introductions are done slowly and comfortably. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s routine and make sure they feel as comfortable as possible.
“Tetiana did a wonderful job! Aster was nervous with another guest puppy, trying to defend us (her mom and dad), while the guest pup was just being curious. Tetiana handled the situation wisely, and it calmed Aster down. She ended up getting along fine with other pups very quickly, snd for the rest of her stay. We definitely recommend her service. Thank you, Tania!”

“Lourdes was simply amazing! She asked all the right questions to make sure my puppy was a good fit, and she made it so easy for my pup to feel welcomed and loved. I truly appreciate every detail and effort she put into making my pup’s stay wonderful. She was very insightful and loving, and her instructions were clear. The videos and updates she sent were just so wonderful, I could tell she truly cared for my puppy and I felt at ease. Watching my pup socialize and grow under Lourdes’ care, I felt like a proud parent who found a perfect school for my baby. :) My little anxious, nervous puppy had a blast with Lourdes, her family, and other furry friends, and I look forward to using her service regularly.”

“Nohely was great! Our dog Kaki had a great time! She took care of him like he was her own and provided a picture of our baby sleeping. He had such a great time and we could tell he was excited to be with her. We are definitely using her again. Thank you Nohely for treating our Kaki like part of your family.”

I have experience with medication, allergies, upset tummies, and all of the ups and downs that your baby may experience. I will treat your dog like I do mine, and they will get lots of cuddles, love, and attention. I look forward to welcoming your dog to their favorite home away from home! I'm currently working from home, so I will always be here during your pet's stay. If there is a time that I am away from home, it is usually no longer than 1-2 hours for errands or necessary appointments I have a sizable closed in patio where your dog can sit and enjoy the weather or sunbathe. The door will remain open at all times so they can choose when they're ready to come inside. If you prefer to crate your pet I have a crate available for use (just bring a pillow and blanket :) *I have 1 dog (Tinky) that will be in my home at all times.* The other dog attached to my profile will not be in the home, she is my sister's dog and is currently back home with her mommy :)
About: I am a mother of 2 furry babies, Fluffy and Jini. I have had a love for animals since I was born! I treat all animals and pets as I treat my own, with compassion. I've raised multiple dogs that have been adopted by myself and/or family members all varying in size and breed. Since I was a child to now I’ve always had pets in the home. Now, I am a mother of 2 fur babies. My first is Fluffy, given to me at 2 months old. My second is Jini, adopted from the Humane Society at 11 weeks. I like going for long walks with my furry companions. I always make time during my days for playtime when a furry friend seeks amusement. We love to play tag, toss a ball around, play tug of war, and squeak toys. Whenever it's time to relax, my definition of Netflix and Chill consists of me and my fur babies snuggled up. I spoil my dogs so much that shop local at Hollywood Feeds and online at Chewy and Amazon for new treats and toys together. Dog walking- I can walk for as little as 5mins to as long as an hour as requested by owner; walking distance or going to the dog park is not an issue as long as the booking time permits. Drop-In Visits or House sitting- I am more than happy to check in on pets as if they are my own, I’ll feed pets according to specifications amount and times given and of course have we will have a little playtime. I can stay as needed and will accommodate accordingly. ** For House-sitting I am unable to stay in the house overnight so I do provide 3-4 visits throughout the day to accommodate their needs. From hours 7am-11pm Daycare & Boarding- All breeds and sizes are welcome! Furry friends must be potty trained as friendly with other dogs. Daycare hours are from 8am-6pm. Otherwise an extended stay charge will be added. I currently work from home so my work schedule is pretty flexible. Most of my weekends are usually free for extra walks, playtime and more. I follow guidelines of my clients as best to my abilities in their home. I always walk the pups on a leash and roam free indoors for playtime. I show each pup as much love as I do for and as my own.

“This is my first time using Mr. James and we are very pleased with his experience and attentiveness with our almost 1 year old Sydney. He sent me update with a picture of Sydney and said she was following them around which I think it is a good sign that Sydney was comfortable around James and his wife. We would definitely recommend Mr. James and would love to use his service again in the future.”

About: As a dog mom to my 2-year-old Cavapoo, Luca, I understand the care and love dogs need. Luca is always looking for new friends, and we have the perfect setup for that! My partner and I both work from home, which means your dog will get full-time attention, lots of playtime, and constant supervision. We’ve successfully trained Luca ourselves and have years of experience training other family dogs, so your pup will be in great hands. Our apartment is filled with toys and has plenty of space for your dog to feel comfortable. We live in a friendly neighborhood with lots of other dogs, making walks a fun social experience. Plus, we’re big on cuddles – your dog will be treated like family here! Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. Since I work from home, I’m able to incorporate pet care seamlessly into my schedule. My day starts with morning walks, giving Luca and any visiting pets a chance to stretch their legs and enjoy the fresh air. Throughout the day, I ensure there’s plenty of playtime and mental stimulation with interactive toys and games. Lunchtime is another opportunity for a short walk or a fun play session, and I’m always ready for a cuddle break in between tasks. My partner and I are both home, so there’s always someone around to give attention and care. Evening routines include a relaxed walk and winding down with some quiet time or gentle play before bedtime. Pet care is not just a part of my day – it’s woven into everything I do, ensuring that every pet in my care feels loved and well-attended to throughout the day. In my care, I prioritize safety and comfort. My home is always puppy-proofed to ensure a secure environment, especially when I need to step out. I use a crate for dogs as needed, and all areas are gated to prevent any accidental mishaps. I also live in a gated community. Since I work from home, I provide constant supervision throughout the day, ensuring pets receive ample attention and care. Every time I take a dog out, they’re securely leashed, and I’m attentive to their needs during walks. Additionally, if there’s ever a need to transport a pet, I have a fully equipped car that allows me to safely take pets along. My approach is to blend safety, comfort, and personal attention to make sure every pet feels secure and loved.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Whitlock Farms
Richard and his family took such wonderful care of our corgi, Laddu! From the moment we met them, we felt completely at ease. We really appreciated that Richard took the time to meet with us before Laddu’s stay so we could get familiar with him and make sure Laddu was comfortable. During the visit, Laddu had an amazing time playing with all the dogs in their backyard and came home happy and tired from all the fun. Richard and his family were also very attentive and thoughtful throughout the stay, sending us plenty of updates and photos, which we truly appreciated. To top it all off, they sent Laddu home with a sweet thank-you note and treats, which was such a thoughtful touch. It’s clear they genuinely care about the dogs they watch. We would absolutely trust Richard and his family with Laddu again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
