“There are no words really! We literally finished with major house renovations right before we had to leave for a conference. We still had our 50 gallon fish aquarium in our garage, and our 3 cats were slightly traumatized! She took such good care of them all! She understood the situation and was so gentle, caring and brought out even their goofiness! We got so many notes and exceptional pictures! We feel like our family has made a new friend! Thank you Katie!”

“Chelsea was wonderful! This was our first experience with Rover and she made it so easy. Chelsea gave great updates, sent us plenty of photos, and was always on time. Highly recommend!”

“I had an excellent experience with Devin pet sitting my 2 cats while I was on a European trip for 17 days. One of my cats has special needs and the other is nicknamed the cowardly lion. She did an excellent job with both of them. I had a very bad experience in the past with a different pet sitter. Devin's daily great communication and pictures, put me at ease. I would highly recommend Devin, and will be using her again in the future.”

“Kristin is everything you could ever ask for in a pet sitter and a whole lot more! She took care of our pets just like we do, and probably even better. We will be hiring Kristin every time we go away. Cannot recommend her enough.”

“Layla was responsive and notified me when she was running behind. She let him out to potty and gave him his food. She also sent me 2 pictures, stayed with Bruce, and covered him in his blanket until it was time to leave.”

“I can’t recommend Vienna enough! She took incredible care of our two dogs while we were away and went above and beyond in every way. She made sure the pups got out three times a day for walks and bathroom breaks, and it was clear from the moment we got home that our dogs had been loved and well cared for. Vienna was always punctual, dependable, and communicated with us throughout the stay, giving us total peace of mind. Our dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly bonded with her. We would absolutely trust Vienna with our dogs again in a heartbeat!”

“Rosemary did a terrific job taking care of my cat, Luna. While Luna was happy to see me when I came home, it was almost like I had never left. It was clear she got lots of love from Rosemary. I've already booked my next trip and Rosemary will be back with her again! I feel lucky to have found her.”

About: I’ve grown up taking care of family and neighbor pets. I also have some experience volunteering and fostering for the animal shelter. When it comes to walks, playtime, some basic training, and even bath time, I can provide loving, reliable care tailored to each pet’s needs. I treat every animal as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently work full-time, but I still have flexibility in my schedule and can adjust to your pet’s needs. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and comfort level, so I’m happy to work with you to make sure they receive the care and attention they need. Whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, check-ins, or plenty of cuddles while you’re away, I’ll do my best to help them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. While I don’t have a yard, I’m close to several parks—including a brand-new dog park! My home is calm and quiet, perfect for pets who need rest and relaxation.

Lucie was wonderful! She was very communicative, kept me updated, and sent pictures during each visit. I especially appreciated her punctuality and flexibility—she even came early in the morning so my cat’s insulin schedule didn’t need to be changed. Most importantly, my cats were very relaxed when I came home, which showed me they had been well cared for. I would definitely recommend Lucie and would happily book her again!

Abigail was very attentive to our little Sophie. She needs lots of playtime and Abigail understood the assignment. She reached out for questions and kept us in the loop for each visit. Definitely keeping her on my list of go-to sitters. Thank you, Abigail! 🐾

Sydney & Yoonho were exceptional caretakers for our 3 cats. They provided prompt updates, detailed communication, and a lot of pictures! We had total peace of mind while we were away from home and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing drop-in visits! Plus, our babies LOVED them! Thanks both!

Deborah did a good job taking care of our two elderly felines. They are both a bit skiddish so making sure they came out to eat was important as one has to be given medicine at each feeding twice daily. We received daily photos and short updates to keep us posted through the time we were away which was much appreciated.

Johanna was an amazing sitter for our sweet cat. He was taken care of so well and it was so nice being able to not worry while being out of town. She sent pictures every day and updated us with everything we needed to know. She was punctual and always came at the same time everyday and was always available to chat if I had a question. 10/10 would recommend and will be using her again this next weekend!

She was wonderful! She was very communicative, kept me in the loop about everything, and sent me lots of pictures and videos. She was incredibly prepared, knew all the right questions to ask, and even brought toys to introduce new playtime items to my cat. My cat is incredibly shy around strangers, but she was patient and kind, and my cat really liked her. I will definitely be booking with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Whitlock Farms. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
