“Marissa is such a sweetheart! She was so sweet with Ace. She even left us a sweet note and gift behind on her last day checking on Ace. I would 100% recommend her to care for your fur baby. She’s very knowledgeable when it comes to animals and can tell that she genuinely enjoys this and it’s not just money with her.”

“Katie was wonderful with our cats, she took extra time to make them comfortable. She was even kind enough to add another day of sitting after our flights were delayed. Totally recommend!”

“Ashley was amazing!!!! Took such sweet care of my fur babes while we were away and kept us updated every step of the way. She was understanding of our cats needs and took every note about their wildly different personalities while attending to them. 10/10!! Thank you Ashley 💕”

“This was our first time booking through Rover, so I was skeptical. After reading so many great reviews about Amber, I decided to give her a try. She is absolutely amazing! She came to meet our boys first, and they fell in love with her immediately. While we were away, she kept us super informed about everything and sent us many pictures. She let us know what the dogs were doing throughout the day and shared so many photos! She is a genuine dog whisperer, and we will continue to book her from now on. She even left some toys for the boys after her last day of watching them. You can truly trust her; she is a gem, and both dogs and adults adore her. Thank you, Amber! :-)”

“Maria did a great job watching our 4 cats. She went above and beyond bringing in our packages and also topping up my aquarium. She sent wonderful daily updates with lots of pictures and made sure all 4 cats were accounted for. Our cats seemed to really like her and were much more relaxed when we got home than they were after previous long trips.”

“This is the second time Kristin has looked after our pups while we were out of town. She is fantastic! I never have to worry because she does such an amazing job caring for them. She takes them outside to play and throws the ball so they can get exercise. She sends so many cute videos and pictures. Our dogs LOVE her just as much as we do! Thank you Kristin!”

“Devin was a trooper! Luna doesn’t like strangers, and their first encounter (without Dad) was a bit unsuccessful. However, she didn’t give up on our girl. The second visit was much better and everyone was happy. Will definitely be using Devin again in the future! Great job!!! THANKYOU!!”

“Yolinette is the most responsive Rover I’ve worked with. She takes great pictures and let’s you know exactly what went on during her visits. I will always use her to watch my cats.”
About: I have never known life without pets! I grew up with both dogs and cars and loved teaching them fun tricks, playing with them, and getting in as much snuggle time as possible. My grandma has always had Great Danes, so I am comfortable caring for extremely large dogs, and my family has always had a special love for Golden Retrievers. My childhood puppy lived to be 18 years old, so I also have experience caring for older animals and taking the extra special care required. I currently have two cats of my own who I have raised since birth. They are happy, healthy babies who love to eat, sleep, play, and even do tricks of their own (my favorite is the fist bump)! I am a lover of all animals and regularly take my Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix on two mile evening walks, which is her favorite part of the day. I love taking the time to get to know each animal individually and care for them according to their own needs and preferences. I would love the opportunity to provide your pets with the care they deserve! I am currently in a transitional phase of my career and taking time to approach my next steps. Due to this, I have extremely open availability and can be very flexible according to your needs. In my home, I have a dog who loves to play throughout the day and absolutely loves being outside. I make sure that she gets her walks in each day and sufficient outdoor and indoor playtime. I also have two cats, who are 3 and 7 years old, that love to play with each other and snuggle with me. My younger cat adores my dog, and they typically spend the evenings in the living room with me on the couch. My cats don’t miss any opportunity to sleep in my lap or by my side when I am stationary. They each have their own medical histories that require special feeding routines that are meticulously scheduled and followed each day. When I am away, my family cares for my babies.
About: I have had experience with dogs since I was very young, and I currently have two dogs that I raised from puppies. They are complete opposites from each other in size and temperament and have very different needs, so I feel confident caring for different dogs that may have different needs. Whether you need someone to swing by and give your pup a nice walk, or someone reliable to drop in and let them out, feed them, or just play with your dog while you’re out, I’d love to be that person for you and your dog! I currently work another job 4 days a week, and have the other 3 off. I’m available Sunday, Tuesday & Wednesday 11am- 4:30pm. I have a 6 year old daughter that I pick up from school at 6:30pm so I just want to make sure I have enough time to get back to pick her up also ☺️ I currently have our two dogs crate trained, so I feel comfortable crating your dog/s if needed. I can feed, play, give medicine (if needed) and walk your dog at your home. I would prefer to do a meet and greet with all owners and dogs before hand, so a new person coming into there home isn’t a surprise to the dog and also just to make sure it’s a good match for everyone involved ☺️
“Nelly is a wonderful and incredibly thoughtful sitter. She came to our meet-and-greet well prepared with a notebook to make sure she didn’t miss a thing, which immediately put me at ease. She took beautiful photos of my cats — just the right amount — and kept communication clear and reassuring throughout my time away. Nelly was also very flexible and always available when I needed to extend visits. I truly appreciated her care and attention, and I would absolutely recommend her.”

“Layla went beyond what we expected. She made sure our cat was well taken care of and actually carried her which our cat usually doesn’t allow. She also sent more photos and had more communication with us which was greatly appreciated.”

“Sydney was very kind and loving with our cats. She took lots of pictures and was very detailed which made us have peace of mind while out of town. We would definitely recommend her and rebook with her! Our cats loved her.”

“Hameeda was amazing with my fur babes. They loved her. She played with them and sent pictures and videos every visit. I definitely recommend her. I will be booking her again soon. Thank you Hameeda. 🥰”

“Gracie was awesome! My pups took to her right away at initial meeting. Gracie was dependable and I really appreciated her communication of arriving, leaving and how the visit went. I’m glad she lives close by!❤️”

“Chloe took care of our cat, Leonard while we were out of town and did a great job! Showed up on time, followed all his needs, took pics and great communication. Would highly recommend!”

“Briana was wonderful with our kitties! She stayed the full time, played with them, opened the window so they could birdwatch, and kept up on their food, water, and litter. She always asked before making any changes (different time, needing to bring her daughter, etc). Would definitely book her again!”

Nelly P. Was very organized. She showed up each day for two visits, made sure my cat ate, played with him, and sent me pictures and a daily report. She even found a mistake with the billing and fixed it promptly. She is a wonderful petsitter and I was able To relax on my vacation knowing she was caring for Alfie.

Ashley was amazing!!!! Took such sweet care of my fur babes while we were away and kept us updated every step of the way. She was understanding of our cats needs and took every note about their wildly different personalities while attending to them. 10/10!! Thank you Ashley 💕

Sydney and Yoonho are the best! They take such great care of our babies and are always super responsive, which really puts us at ease whenever we have to leave them. Our cat Mabel is usually shy and nervous around strangers, but she actually comes out to see them. ❤️

Lucie was wonderful! She was very communicative, kept me updated, and sent pictures during each visit. I especially appreciated her punctuality and flexibility—she even came early in the morning so my cat’s insulin schedule didn’t need to be changed. Most importantly, my cats were very relaxed when I came home, which showed me they had been well cared for. I would definitely recommend Lucie and would happily book her again!

Deborah did a good job taking care of our two elderly felines. They are both a bit skiddish so making sure they came out to eat was important as one has to be given medicine at each feeding twice daily. We received daily photos and short updates to keep us posted through the time we were away which was much appreciated.

Johanna was an amazing sitter for our sweet cat. He was taken care of so well and it was so nice being able to not worry while being out of town. She sent pictures every day and updated us with everything we needed to know. She was punctual and always came at the same time everyday and was always available to chat if I had a question. 10/10 would recommend and will be using her again this next weekend!

She was wonderful! She was very communicative, kept me in the loop about everything, and sent me lots of pictures and videos. She was incredibly prepared, knew all the right questions to ask, and even brought toys to introduce new playtime items to my cat. My cat is incredibly shy around strangers, but she was patient and kind, and my cat really liked her. I will definitely be booking with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
