About: Animal lover and experienced dog owner with a fenced backyard for safe play and exercise. I care for every pet as if they were my own and provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and affection. Happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. 😊 I work from home, so I’m around most of the day. Pet care fits easily into my routine since I already plan my day around my own dog. Your pet would get lots of attention, care, and a consistent routine while they’re with me. At my home, pets have a calm, safe space with a fenced yard for play and plenty of room inside, including extra space if they need a quiet area. I’m home most of the day, so they get lots of attention and care.I also have a friendly dog, and I always make sure introductions are done slowly and comfortably. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s routine and make sure they feel as comfortable as possible.
“Holli is fantastic. It was my first time using Rover with my two cats. She is kind, professional and punctual. Send me a lot of pic on updates that made feel that my cats where doing good with her. I highly recommend it.”
“Carole was great with our dog and gave us detailed updates with every visit. You can tell she enjoys spending time with dogs. We will definitely be using her again in the future!!”

About: I love dogs and cats too, I got into dog - sitting when I first moved to Georgia and my neighbor went out of town I watched her dog while she was gone and have been dog sitting ever since. I love going out and walking dogs and playing with dogs. I make sure they feel like they are loved and with their owners when I watch animals I love making them even little treats and dinners. Also if you have specific thing your animal eats then you can count on me to make sure they have a good healthy meal, I also am good about giving them their medication. I understand how people love for their animals as if they were their children and I totally get it. You worry about them and want to make sure they are taken care of well. I myself even hate the thought of my animal being alone for over a long period of time because of work or school.
“Angel did a great job and went above and beyond while we were out of town for the holidays. She provided plenty of photos and video updates which were greatly appreciated. She would play with our cat and make sure he received attention.”

“Kristin looked after my 2 dogs for a long weekend and did an amazing job!! The pups had the best time and absolutely loved her! They love playing ball and she made sure to throw the ball with them at every drop in visit. She also gave them lots of pets and snuggles. She updated me about everything and sent the cutest photos at each visit. One of my pups needed an antibiotic and she did great administering her medication. Kristin took the best care of my babies and I will definitely call her again next time I need a pet sitter!”

About: I’ve had 3 dogs in my life growing up, which have all been loved and cared for. In the past couple of years have friends and family asked to take care of their pets. Usually consists of walks and simple drop ins to make sure they are doing well and fed. Most animals that I sit for are dogs. I do love and adore cats, and would love to gain more experience caring for them. I currently work a part-time job, in which i have days in the week i am completely free to take care of your pets! I love going to the park or simply go on walks during my free time. I currently don’t have any other pets which won’t impact the care for your pets. I live with people who also care a lot about animals. I will be able to adapt and understand the environment a dog comes from and accommodate to that.
About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember - from my childhood Akita to my Pom-Poo mix to my current German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix. I trained my current dog (Goose) through an intensive hands-on 6-week obedience course. I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family since I was 15. I don’t just watch dogs, I treat them like family. I work full-time but my work schedule is pretty flexible. I have a lot of off days during the week (Tuesday through Thursday) to walk pups and make visits! When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with the same respect I’d expect for my own. I will follow your pet’s routine closely - whether that means morning walks, mealtime rituals, play sessions, or quiet cuddle time. I keep your pet comfortable, happy, & safe in their familiar environment. I’m always happy to send updates and photos while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel loved and your absence as stress-free as possible - for both of you!

About: Hello! I've been a pet owner to a 20lb Shih tzu mix for 6 years and I have cared for dogs of all kinds during that time. I have loved dogs, big and small since I was young. I have experience sitting and caring for rowdy dogs, shy dogs, gentle and everything in between. I can go provide long walks or many short walks. I also have toys and treats that will be sure to keep your furry friend pre-occupied and happy. If you need care for cats, dogs, or other animals, I also do in home care and can provide water, food, and fun while you are away. “We had such a wonderful experience with Abby! She took excellent care of our cat and fish while we were away and made us feel completely at ease. We’re so grateful and would absolutely book her again. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

About: Me and my fiance love animals and have 5 dogs and 1 cat of our own. We have 20 years of experience caring for all types of dogs from small to large and many different breeds as well as cats. We both have experience administering medicine and allergy shots if needed. We also have experience with dogs not potty trained. References can be provided upon request. I work full time but am blessed to have a flexible schedule and my fiance Bryan is home full time so we are able to accommodate many schedules including same day services. We have a fenced in backyard as well as a room that is dedicated to overnight guests so they have their own safe space to decompress. Our yard is mowed and kept clean of debris.
About: I have previously worked as a veterinary assistant for animal clinics. I understand the importance of proper portions, exercise, & timely medications. I love all animals, big or small, outgoing or timid, young or old. I am especially fond of seniors :-) I currently work at a doggy daycare, so drop-ins are more likely to fit into my schedule, but if you book me 2 weeks ahead I can be there all day! I consider myself a night owl, so if your pet needs night time assistance, I’ll be happy to help. I really enjoy walking! I pay close attention to the heat of the pavement so that your pet can have a comfortable stroll. I keep a strong hand on the leash to keep your pet safe, but I am not opposed to letting them explore the grass! At the home, I will pay close attention to your pets signals and know when they need more space or more love.
“Elizabeth did an excellent job looking over our cats! She took good care of the litter boxes and played with the cats. I would rebook with her for our next vacation”

Angel was great! She did everything we asked of her making sure our cats were fed and played with, and litter boxes cleaned. She even went out of her way to take care of a bit of a bug pest issue and notified us right away. It should be a no-brainer on who to book while you’re away.

Words cannot describe how amazing Abigail is. This was our first time using Rover and I needed our 2 cats watch for the week. We came home and it was like nothing changed. I can tell they were so loved and well cared for while we were gone. Abigail went above and beyond for our babies and cared for them so well. I’m so grateful we were able to have her as our sitter. If you are looking for someone who cares and loves your babies look no further. I cannot thank you enough Abigail!❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
