“Rebecca did an amazing job with our two cats when we were out of town. I really appreciated the care she showed towards them as well as the daily updates and pictures! Would highly recommend her services!”

“Long time happy customer. Joanne and Brenda really go the extra mile to care for my cats and do such a nice job cleaning after them before I return — I am very grateful.”
About: I love animals of all species- but dogs hold a special place in my heart! I have been dog-sitting for about 6.5 years now, and have enjoyed every furry visitor I've had. I just enjoy sharing space with them! I currently work from home, so I have the ability to give them all the attention they need and take them along for adventures (with permission). I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby and making an amazing connection with you both! In seemingly stressful or chaotic situations I’m able to maintain my composure. I find that my demeanor makes dogs feel comfortable and relaxed upon meeting them, so in-home check ins will be smoother for your pet and I! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, I look forward to providing excellent care for your beloved furry friend. I currently work from home, which allows a flexible schedule. I love having a dog over so I have more reason to take a walk. I have an open-space studio where they will be hanging out with me during the day. I always reach out to the client for a meet and greet to discuss their pet's behaviors and needs so I can adjust accordingly.
“Donnis was excellent! She consistently communicated while we were on vacation and sent the absolute cutest pics of my babies. I will definitely be booking again in the future.”

“Morgan is the best! She is so sweet and gave my kitties tons of love and attention. This was our first time using Rover and she made the process so easy. I felt at ease knowing they were in such caring hands!”

“Barbara is wonderful. She was such a caring sitter for my older dog Oreo while we were out of town. She was thankfully able to fit us in for a last-minute booking, which helped us out tremendously. She was also great about making us comfortable leaving our dog for the first time with a sitter. Oreo took to her right away like a family member. Barbara was always on time and went above and beyond for our drop in visits. She responds very promptly, pays attention to details, has great communication and kept us updated with all of Oreo’s activities with every visit. She sent very thorough updates and lots of pictures. She was great about anticipating my dogs needs and communicating with me to manage situations as they arose. (She even brought my packages in off the porch). I felt comfortable trusting her in my home. I highly recommend Barbara, and will be looking forward to booking her again in the future.”

About: Growing up, I always begged for a pet every chance I got. I have so much love, appreciation, and passion for not only pets but for animals as a whole, and this hasn't changed since I was a kid. In my free time I enjoy playing with my pets and watching animal documentaries. In terms of experience, I am PetTech certified, I am working with a local pet sitting business for over a year now, where I do drop-in visits for dogs and cats, as well as walks and house sitting too! I also previously volunteered with a local animal shelter where I worked with mainly cats and kittens, and dogs on occasion. As a volunteer, my responsibilities mostly included transport, playing with the shelter animals, weighing, and checking in/watching. I currently have 2 cats, 1 male and 1 female, that I got as kittens. I have had these cats for about 2 years. In the past, I had a dog for 3 years. My responsibilities with these pets include/included feeding, bathing, playing, walking, cleaning up after, etc. I am not currently working and have reliable transportation. I have a flexible schedule and lots of time to take care of and spend time with your furry friends! I have experience pet sitting in clients' homes before. I am detail oriented and follow the directions left by clients well! I clean up after not only myself but also your furry friends and leave the home as I found it!

“I kept using Merit due to affordability and easy to work. She is punctual and easy to communicate. This time I missed her message about arrival time and she had to wait nearly 30 minutes because of my mistake. Instead of going back she called me and make sure she got in to feed my babies. She is the best and I use her service regularly without any hesitation. Thank you, Merit 😊”

“Very friendly. Showed up on time and gave the extra effort to care for my four energetic dogs and elderly diabetic cat. Communicated very well and responds quickly. Already have her scheduled again. Dogs and cat loved her!”

About: Beverly here!!My entire life we have always had pets around. I have cared for dogs small and large. I have experienced with many animals from cats to goats. I love animals and have a hard time not referring to them as people.I have worked with puppies and also older dogs. I help care and walk my family and friends animals. I have experience with staying overnight and also just drop ins or day walking. I really care for the animals and love each personality they each have. I love to take an animal on car rides or a run on the road. If a pet is in need of bathing I have experience washing both large and small dogs. I am currently working full time. My schedule is Sunday to Wednesday 6-4:30. I am able to care for an animal before and after work and also on my days off. I know this schedule is ideal for all families but some are comfortable with it. I would be available to walk your pet as little or as much as they require. Whether it’s playing fetch or taking a walk exercise is needed for pets and I’m happy to help with that.
About: Majority of my years with Rover have been in NYC and have had a great reputation with them as well as my clients. I care for my own dogs (frenchie/boston terrier mix and a boston terrier) as if they were my daughters. Well trained and taken care for emotionally and physically. I have always been a dog person and never have found a dog I have not gotten along with. Aside for studying voice acting, I work a part-time job so I am usually available. I keep clients updated at all times, especially with housesitting appointments. I have babysat, walked and cared for many dogs and have always been praised for my patient, loving treatment of them. I will play with them, feed and care for them however needed. If there are any special needs, I am willing to accommodate as well. My time is flexible. I always put work first and my personal schedule works around that. I like to make sure at the very least, the basic needs of pets are taken care of before anything else. I have a fenced yard and a play pen for small dogs. Toys, water bowls if needed, and will give attention and playtime if your dog is an active.
“Brooke is a great communicator and took excellent care of our two cats. She has a big heart and is very focused on the well-being of the animals she looks after. She even spent extra time loving on our fur babies!”

About: Hi, I’m Leah! 🐾 Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I’d love to give your pets the same love and care I give my own. I’m the proud dog mom of three very different (and very loved!) pups, an 11 year old pit mix who’s my gentle old soul, a playful 2 year old mini goldendoodle, and a curious 4 month old mini bernedoodle who keeps me on my toes. Because I care for dogs of all ages and energy levels every single day, I understand how important it is to meet each pet where they’re at, whether that means slow, easy strolls, fun playtime, or lots of snuggles. I know how to balance patience with puppies, attention with energetic doodles, and gentleness with seniors. When your pets are with me, you can trust they’ll feel safe, loved, and cared for. I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and notes so you always know how they’re doing. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight sitting, I’ll treat your furry family like my own. I can’t wait to meet your pets and make their tails wag! 🐶✨ Caring for pets is part of my daily life with my own three dogs, so walks, playtime, and snuggles are always in my routine. I’m flexible and can adjust to your pet’s needs Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Since my home isn’t open for boarding, I focus on caring for pets in their own familiar environment. I’ll follow your routines, keep a close eye on safety, and make sure your pets feel loved and stress-free while you’re away.
“Siara made us feel very comfortable leaving our pups in her care. She took great care of them, even dealing with a messy cleanup due to our anxious puppy. Will definitely check with her when I next need a sitter!”

Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bold Springs. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
