About: I grew up with pets since I was a baby. I have learned throughout the years how to care and love them differently. I currently own dogs, cats, chickens and birds which I love all so much. I love showing love and comfort to every animal that crosses my path! I would be very appreciative to make your pet feel more loved and comfortable than they already are. I’m working a part time which allows me to care for your pet more often than not. I am almost always available for your pet when needed. I have learned every dog/cat is different and have different needs. I am willing to learn new things. But I can safely put your pet in crates and give them their meds safely!
“Very friendly. Showed up on time and gave the extra effort to care for my four energetic dogs and elderly diabetic cat. Communicated very well and responds quickly. Already have her scheduled again. Dogs and cat loved her!”

About: I love animals of all species- but dogs hold a special place in my heart! I have been dog-sitting for about 6.5 years now, and have enjoyed every furry visitor I've had. I just enjoy sharing space with them! I currently work from home, so I have the ability to give them all the attention they need and take them along for adventures (with permission). I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby and making an amazing connection with you both! In seemingly stressful or chaotic situations I’m able to maintain my composure. I find that my demeanor makes dogs feel comfortable and relaxed upon meeting them, so in-home check ins will be smoother for your pet and I! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, I look forward to providing excellent care for your beloved furry friend. I currently work from home, which allows a flexible schedule. I love having a dog over so I have more reason to take a walk. I have an open-space studio where they will be hanging out with me during the day. I always reach out to the client for a meet and greet to discuss their pet's behaviors and needs so I can adjust accordingly.
“Page was awesome. She gave our older cat his meds twice a day with no problems. She even tried to entice our shy cats out of hiding and one of them let her pet him. He doesn't just let anyone do that. She even made us aware of a possible leak in our drinking fountain for our cats. We also received great pictures and correspondence after the visits. We definitely have no problem using Page's services again.”

About: I love dogs and cats too, I got into dog - sitting when I first moved to Georgia and my neighbor went out of town I watched her dog while she was gone and have been dog sitting ever since. I love going out and walking dogs and playing with dogs. I make sure they feel like they are loved and with their owners when I watch animals I love making them even little treats and dinners. Also if you have specific thing your animal eats then you can count on me to make sure they have a good healthy meal, I also am good about giving them their medication. I understand how people love for their animals as if they were their children and I totally get it. You worry about them and want to make sure they are taken care of well. I myself even hate the thought of my animal being alone for over a long period of time because of work or school.
“Ms. Beverly was great! She helped out last minute to ensure my dog was taken care of. She was punctual in her time to get to him and was very detail oriented in his care. I definitely would recommend her.”

“For those looking for peace of mind while you're away, Morgan's your answer! This was my first time looking for someone to check in on my recently-adopted cat while I was gone for a few days, and I am so thankful that Morgan was there to put my worries at ease. Not only did she give my pet the attention he needed, she would continuously go above and beyond any expectations I had for a check-in sitter. Between detailed daily reports (with lots of great photos), feedback on my cat's diet and litter box habits, and taking the time to encourage his personality to come out through play and pets, I am so happy with Morgan's service and will be booking her again whenever possible! Thank you so much for taking care of little Mo! 🤩”

About: I have personal and professional experience with watching dogs and I’m a huge animal lover. My rates are low because I’m just starting out on Rover, I’ve only done pet sitting for family and friends. I have a very energetic 2 year old who I spend a lot of time outside with, so they’ll get plenty of playtime. I have lots of time for playing or walking while we’re outside. And during nap times we all get to take a break inside for a couple hours to snooze 💤 I take my dog/s on a walk 2x a day and a few hours for supervised free play, on 1 acre of unfenced yard. Plenty of toys and treats can be provided and no bed or sofa is off limits to any fur baby.
“Sahara was literally an angel who stepped in when a previously hired sitter no showed after I had already left town. She has been patient with my very shy and skittish senior cat who is now enjoying being petted by Sahara. I highly recommend her.”

“Our dogs loved her and they seemed to have a really great time from the pictures that we got! She was very kind and helpful, even with our last minute booking! Would definitely rebook! Thank you Beverly!!”

“Elizabeth was great with our anxious pup Luna! It was our first time using Rover but Elizabeth followed Luna’s schedule with 3x daily drop ins over a holiday weekend and sent tons of pictures. We would definitely book again!”

“Alexis was excellent taking care of the pups. She loved on them like they were hers. I felt very comfortable with her in my home taking care of my babies. I highly recommend Alexis thank you Rover for having her as an employee she’s wonderful.”

“Riley is very reliable and has amazing communication. She leaves my house cleaner than before, and always gives my kitties lots of love. I know my cats and space are well taken care of with Riley, and would definitely recommend her !”

“Rachelle was amazing; checked in on Janus 3 times while I was out of town last minute. Janus is a very timid dog who requires a lot of reassurance after spending over a year bouncing around shelters and homes. Rachelle was willing to wait for Janus to feel comfortable and made sure she was well loved for while I was gone.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 1,463 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Russell. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Russell. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
