About: Ever since I was a little girl I have always loved animals. I have always had a family pet and I currently have a sweet puppy of my own, his name is Ollie. In high school I volunteered at local animal shelters and started dog/ farm sitting for friends and family. It is one of my lifetime dreams to open up a doggy cafe and maybe even a doggy day camp. So if you ever need anyone to dog sit, walk your pups, or even just hang out with them for a little while… I am super flexible and more than willing!! I have a very flexible and remote job, so I can always find time to escape to go play with some pups! I’m available more often than not for dog/housesitting, walks, and check ins throughout the week!! My biggest concern is that your fur baby is happy and healthy. Every family is different and every dog may require different needs, I understand that and know that all too well. About: I have 4 pets myself and love to care for them. I would love to be able to help out someone else’s house hold as well and give our pets the enrichment and love that they need and deserve! I have a very high energy dog so would be able to socialize and walk your dog with a friend if you wanted, or I could always leave her at home and devote my time to your pet alone, your preference as always. Hiking and longer walks are always welcome! I am an online student, so I have a completely open availability, as well as a partner at home to care for my own pets while I am away. I can devote as much time as you would like to caring and lock on your pet! I would keep a close eye on the pet to make sure they are not getting into anything or showing any signs of distress. About: I’ve been around dogs since I was born. I was raised around a husky-collie, yorkies, and mini schnauzers. I have cared for my family members pets as well. My most recent experience stems from volunteering at an animal shelter. I would exercise dogs of various of temperaments and breeds. I’m free week days so that time while you’re away at work I can give your dog a happy distraction for a bit until you come home! I find working within a dog’s comfort zone works the best. About: I love dogs and cats too, I got into dog - sitting when I first moved to Georgia and my neighbor went out of town I watched her dog while she was gone and have been dog sitting ever since. I love going out and walking dogs and playing with dogs. I make sure they feel like they are loved and with their owners when I watch animals I love making them even little treats and dinners. Also if you have specific thing your animal eats then you can count on me to make sure they have a good healthy meal, I also am good about giving them their medication. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
