“Page was awesome. She gave our older cat his meds twice a day with no problems. She even tried to entice our shy cats out of hiding and one of them let her pet him. He doesn't just let anyone do that. She even made us aware of a possible leak in our drinking fountain for our cats. We also received great pictures and correspondence after the visits. We definitely have no problem using Page's services again.”

About: I love dogs and cats too, I got into dog - sitting when I first moved to Georgia and my neighbor went out of town I watched her dog while she was gone and have been dog sitting ever since. I love going out and walking dogs and playing with dogs. I make sure they feel like they are loved and with their owners when I watch animals I love making them even little treats and dinners. Also if you have specific thing your animal eats then you can count on me to make sure they have a good healthy meal, I also am good about giving them their medication. I understand how people love for their animals as if they were their children and I totally get it. You worry about them and want to make sure they are taken care of well. I myself even hate the thought of my animal being alone for over a long period of time because of work or school.

“My babies loved her and I think she loved them back just as much! i know they were happy to have her come hang out with them for a little bit during the day while me and my fiancé were away :)”

“Amber was absolutely amazing! She was very communicative, which I thoroughly appreciated. She always sent pictures and kept me update on my pets. Highly recommend booking with her!”

“This was my first time using Rover. I choose Jessica and she was great. She came by every day while I was gone for drop-in visits to feed my cat and all the other stuff you need to do on a daily basis. It takes a bit for Bailey to warm up to other people but Jessica hung in there and eventually she was able to pet him. She sent me pictures and notes every day so I felt good about leaving him with her. I was impressed with her service and will continue to use her going forward. You will be happy if you choose Jessica to take care of your fur babies.”

“Joanne was fabulous watching our 3 cats! She was on time and communicated each visit, with photos too. She was a big hit with the kitties, including our skittish stray we took in almost a year ago. By day two, she was out from under the bed making friends with Joanne. Our vacation was tons of fun and without any worry as I knew Joanne had everything under control. Will definitely be calling her again for our next trip! Thanks Joanne! ???”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Winder
Thanks so much Jessica. My apologies for not letting you know earlier that I did make it home on Saturday. It was cold, windy and there was an ice storm that turned to snow on Friday evening. I didn't leave PA until 11:30 am which put me home at midnight. Seems as if the weather up north followed me home - it's cold!! I enjoyed the photos just to see what a mess Juniper had caused with the tissue paper. I'm replacing all that torn up stuff with new paper today. She's full of energy and talks a lot - meowing all the time. Wish I knew what she was saying! Thanks again, I do appreciate it and I sent you a tip. Happy New Year!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Winder. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
