About: Growing up, I always begged for a pet every chance I got. I have so much love, appreciation, and passion for not only pets but for animals as a whole, and this hasn't changed since I was a kid. In my free time I enjoy playing with my pets and watching animal documentaries. In terms of experience, I am PetTech certified, I am working with a local pet sitting business for over a year now, where I do drop-in visits for dogs and cats, as well as walks and house sitting too! I also previously volunteered with a local animal shelter where I worked with mainly cats and kittens, and dogs on occasion. As a volunteer, my responsibilities mostly included transport, playing with the shelter animals, weighing, and checking in/watching. I currently have 2 cats, 1 male and 1 female, that I got as kittens. I have had these cats for about 2 years. In the past, I had a dog for 3 years. My responsibilities with these pets include/included feeding, bathing, playing, walking, cleaning up after, etc. I am not currently working and have reliable transportation. I have a flexible schedule and lots of time to take care of and spend time with your furry friends! I have experience pet sitting in clients' homes before. “This is our third time hiring Merit as our pet sitter while on vacation. She is absolutely wonderful and provides excellent care to all of our fur babies. We have one senior cat with special medical needs and she takes the time to provide the medication to her at each PM visit at not extra fee. She also watches over our hens and most recently, we added two goats to our property for a 4-H project and she tended to them as well. This was a HUGE help knowing while we are away everyone was being cared for as they need to be. She provides very detailed updates with plenty of photos to show what the fur babies are up to. We are already looking at another trip to move our oldest into college later this summer and will definitely be hiring Merit if she's available to sit for our fur babies once again! About: Majority of my years with Rover have been in NYC and have had a great reputation with them as well as my clients. I care for my own dogs (frenchie/boston terrier mix and a boston terrier) as if they were my daughters. Well trained and taken care for emotionally and physically. I have always been a dog person and never have found a dog I have not gotten along with. Aside for studying voice acting, I work a part-time job so I am usually available. I keep clients updated at all times, especially with housesitting appointments. I have babysat, walked and cared for many dogs and have always been praised for my patient, loving treatment of them. I will play with them, feed and care for them however needed. If there are any special needs, I am willing to accommodate as well. My time is flexible. I always put work first and my personal schedule works around that. I like to make sure at the very least, the basic needs of pets are taken care of before anything else. I have a fenced yard and a play pen for small dogs. Toys, water bowls if needed, and will give attention and playtime if your dog is an active.

About: I will love your pet like my own and if you ask my friends they will tell you that they would love to live as one of my dogs. I have had dogs since I was very young and work hard to include them in all aspects of my life. I have also had litters and cared for and found them well suited loving homes. I have been a volunteer with the humane society and Patriot Paws for many years. My goldens are well behaved and love working on commands, so I am happy to continue any training you might want your dog to keep practicing while you are away. Nothing makes me happier than being near dogs, so I guarantee your dog will have my utmost attention. If requesting boarding or daily day care, your dog must be friendly with other dogs. Happy to provide multiple references that I regularly watch their dogs outside of Rover also. I work from home so I am with my dogs 24/7. I spend a lot of time outside playing with them throughout the day and fetch. I have 2 dogs and a huge fenced in yard to keep your dog company. My house sits on 3 acres that is fully fenced in so there is plenty of room for dogs to run. In spring and summer I also have multiple hard plastic small pools they can lounge in.
About: I have a lot of experience with various animals. I also take care of my 11 year old Shih Tzu who who is allergic to grass and has anxiety so I’m used to providing extra care. I am currently taking a break from school and I have a part time job so my schedule is pretty flexible for the most part.
