About: Majority of my years with Rover have been in NYC and have had a great reputation with them as well as my clients. I care for my own dogs (frenchie/boston terrier mix and a boston terrier) as if they were my daughters. Well trained and taken care for emotionally and physically. I have always been a dog person and never have found a dog I have not gotten along with. Aside for studying voice acting, I work a part-time job so I am usually available. I keep clients updated at all times, especially with housesitting appointments. I have babysat, walked and cared for many dogs and have always been praised for my patient, loving treatment of them. I will play with them, feed and care for them however needed. If there are any special needs, I am willing to accommodate as well. My time is flexible. I always put work first and my personal schedule works around that. I like to make sure at the very least, the basic needs of pets are taken care of before anything else. I have a fenced yard and a play pen for small dogs. Toys, water bowls if needed, and will give attention and playtime if your dog is an active.

About: I’ve taken care of every animal you could find in a pet store. I worked for petsmart for over a year before leaving for the US Navy. I learned how to train dogs as well as groom while working there. I’ve been pet sitting since I was 13, and I’m good with all animals big and small from dogs to snakes. I work Part-Time so I have more than enough time to play and take care of your pups! I set my own schedule with my job so any day of the week I’m available, and if you need me to stay the night I can do that no problem ! “Barbara is wonderful. She was such a caring sitter for my older dog Oreo while we were out of town. She was thankfully able to fit us in for a last-minute booking, which helped us out tremendously. She was also great about making us comfortable leaving our dog for the first time with a sitter. Oreo took to her right away like a family member. Barbara was always on time and went above and beyond for our drop in visits. She responds very promptly, pays attention to details, has great communication and kept us updated with all of Oreo’s activities with every visit. She sent very thorough updates and lots of pictures. She was great about anticipating my dogs needs and communicating with me to manage situations as they arose. (She even brought my packages in off the porch). “This is our third time hiring Merit as our pet sitter while on vacation. She is absolutely wonderful and provides excellent care to all of our fur babies. We have one senior cat with special medical needs and she takes the time to provide the medication to her at each PM visit at not extra fee. She also watches over our hens and most recently, we added two goats to our property for a 4-H project and she tended to them as well. This was a HUGE help knowing while we are away everyone was being cared for as they need to be. She provides very detailed updates with plenty of photos to show what the fur babies are up to.
