About: *Update: In regards to the new weekly feature, I can only do so in YOUR home. I am a cat person but I also love dogs. I'm an equal opportunist lol . I've taken care of cats, dogs, even hamsters, fish and plants for neighbors, friends, family and later on for clients through apps like these. I started taking care of pets at age 10 which was around the same time I got my cat, Allegra. I loved her like my own child. We would even take walks together. She lived a good 14 years but that of course was still too short for me. She was a family member to me, not just a cat. She was even kind to the random strays I would bring home and be forced to return lol. I also grew up with my dog Angel (pictured). She lived for 14 years too. Her last few years were rough and she was on a lot of medications. I have experience administering those. We had to put her down and that was such a hard decision. Another family member lost. I'm still proud that they both lived long lives. I've had other cats short term since then. I adopted a black cat, Maleficent Marie, in February 2023 and shes my new fur baby. I started using Rover in 2018 when it first started but deactivated because I lived in areas that didn't use the app at all. I can't wait to meet your pet and I'll make them a priority like they're family! I'm currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to drop in or even stay with your furry family members. My home is not open to animals at the moment and I can sincerely vouch that I will treat your home respectfully like mine or anyone else's. I'm also fully vaccinated and take Covid seriously. About: I have helped my brother take care of his Rover bookings in the past while he and I lived together. He and I took care of many different types of animals including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, tortoises, and even a pot belly pig. My family has always been an animal loving family. We have always had at least one cat and/or dog in our homes. I currently live with my mother, and I recently had my dog cross the rainbow bridge, so I thought this would be a good way to help cope. I have a lot of love to give for your pet(s). My schedule is very flexible since I work independently, and my mother is widely available to help with boarding since she is retired. My mother does have a 4 year old cat that is friendly with other animals. I am the only one of the two of us that is available to house-sit and pet-sit. About: I've had cats my entire life and dogs for the last 15 years. Currently I have 6 cats and 2 dogs. I have a way of getting chosen by animals lol. We have many strays in our neighborhood and the cat distribution system seems to know I won't let them die lol. I have bottle fed many, including 4 of the six I currently own. I had a third dog but he sadly crossed the rainbow bridge in March after 14 loving years. My dogs need medication daily and I have no problem giving it to them. About: I have always had many pets in my house growing up! I’ve cared for dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, and more. My current pets include my dog Max, my cat Ruby, and my hamster, Hamlet. I worked at a dog day care/ boarding center for most of 2023. I take joy in caring for my animals and their health and happiness is most important to me. I have petsit for my family members for years as well. I am currently a Senior at Georgia Gwinnett College, but I still plenty of time for caring for animals. I am usually still available on every day of the week. I have plenty of experience with crating dogs and can do it quite easily as I used to work at a dog kennel. I have bathed dogs and cats as well so I can do that if needed. I walk both my own and others’ dogs every day and know how to deal with complications that may arise.
About: My involvement with animals has been my whole life, but it started my sitting for friends and family. I learned so much and have had so much involvement with dogs and cats ranging big and small in size and personality. Theres many high-tense situations that have built my experience and rationality for anything. I am willing to accommodate to any special need your pet may need as I know some need more patience than others. I have my own pets as well and have trained them myself. I have a large loving doodle and a feisty cat. I'm currently a student aiming to be a veterinary technician who can give the best possible care to peoples pets. I am currently working part time as a freelancer. This gives me the liberty to take as much time needed for any pet needs. I can drop by or stay by their side full time. As I do have my own dog so I would need to check on him daily. When caring for pets, I prioritize: * Consistent feeding schedules * Fresh water and clean bowls/litter areas * Safe walks and supervised play * Medication instructions if needed * Patience with shy, anxious, senior, or high-energy animals * Regular updates and photos so owners feel reassured
About: *Update: In regards to the new weekly feature, I can only do so in YOUR home. I am a cat person but I also love dogs. I'm an equal opportunist lol . I've taken care of cats, dogs, even hamsters, fish and plants for neighbors, friends, family and later on for clients through apps like these. I started taking care of pets at age 10 which was around the same time I got my cat, Allegra. I loved her like my own child. We would even take walks together. She lived a good 14 years but that of course was still too short for me. She was a family member to me, not just a cat. She was even kind to the random strays I would bring home and be forced to return lol. I also grew up with my dog Angel (pictured). She lived for 14 years too. Her last few years were rough and she was on a lot of medications. I have experience administering those. We had to put her down and that was such a hard decision. Another family member lost. I'm still proud that they both lived long lives. I've had other cats short term since then. I adopted a black cat, Maleficent Marie, in February 2023 and shes my new fur baby. I started using Rover in 2018 when it first started but deactivated because I lived in areas that didn't use the app at all. I can't wait to meet your pet and I'll make them a priority like they're family! I'm currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to drop in or even stay with your furry family members. My home is not open to animals at the moment and I can sincerely vouch that I will treat your home respectfully like mine or anyone else's. I'm also fully vaccinated and take Covid seriously. I don't mind wearing a mask for long hours or at all and will abide by any covid restrictions you personally have. My goal is to build a trusting relationship and to have more repeat clientele!

“Layla was great! I had to cancel my initial booking and she was understanding. I booked her the following weekend and we had a meet and great that went well. When I dropped off Canela she was sitting another dog and they got along and I got lots of pics and videos of them playing. It made me happy because she doesn’t get enough play time and I had peace of mind that my dog wasn’t bored. Layla sent me updates throughout the stay which I appreciate. “Ryan and his family are lovely people and took excellent care of my dog. They have a young Aussie who was also sweet and my dog came back to me very relaxed and happy (and very tired after all the fun!). Ryan offered to bathe my dog after he got dirty on a hike, which was very thoughtful. He sent frequent photos and kept me in the loop with everything, which put me at ease after having a poor experience with a previous Rover dog sitter. I couldn’t recommend this family enough!
