“Daniel was great. Our fur babies were kept on their schedule and given lots of love. I also appreciated the pictures Daniel sent to show how they were doing. Would definitely ask Daniel to look after our dogs again.”

“Absolutely fantastic dog sitter. Super responsive, professional and dependable. Sat our 3 dogs and house for 8 days. Dogs were happy and house looked great. Highly recommend and will rebook”
“This was my (and Buddy’s) 1st time having a house sitter and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Donnis was lovable, kind and patient with Buddy, especially when he refused to go outside in the rain. We are adding a new fur baby to our family soon and will definitely introduce Donnis to Xena! Thank you so much and we will be seeing you soon!! 🥰”
“Morgan is an amazing house and dog sitter. She treated my dogs like her own children and sent LOTS of pics and videos to prove it. I came home to happy dogs and a clean house. They can't wait for her next visit!”

“I was very nervous about going on vacation for five days leaving my animals, but I found Abigail on Rover and she was absolutely amazing. I’ve told my friends about her. She took very good care of my animals. I would definitely recommend her. She gave me detailed information and updates on my babies. Thank you Abigail. You are the best.”

“Ariel was an absolute delight. We met her prior to the visit and could tell right away it would be a great couple of days. We left two pages of notes and it didn't bother her one bit 😆 Super professional. She showed our babies all the same love they're used to.”

“Jody was absolutely fantastic! She took care of our 4 dogs and cat with such care and attention to detail. She was reliable, communicated well, and made our first experience with Rover a breeze. We will definitely be booking her services again in the future. Highly recommend Jody for all your pet sitting needs! 5 stars all the way!”

“Desiré took good care of my puppy she was left alone at home sadly we forgot to refill her food container plus we temporarily lost the key so she was left with no security at home. About: Hello everyone, my name is Alexandria and I love all animals, particularly dogs. I have grown up with dogs and cats practically my entire life, raising most of them since they were puppies. I currently have two dogs of my own — Pepper, my 10-year-old Dachshund mix, and Carson, my 8-year-old French Bulldog. Both of my dogs are on the smaller side, so my preference is to watch smaller dogs, as they tend to be the best fit for our home dynamic. I joined Rover to earn additional income, as well as to provide a companion for my dogs to hang out and socialize with. My schedule is pretty flexible, which means I can give your fur baby plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I am looking forward to meeting your little fur baby and providing them with a safe, loving, and fun environment while you’re away! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I work part time, which gives me a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the dogs in my care. Because my hours are not rigid, I am able to adapt to just about any routine — whether your dog needs early morning walks, midday check-ins, or a specific feeding schedule, I can make it work. Whatever your dog’s routine looks like at home, just let me know and I will do my best to match it as closely as possible. And if for any reason I am unable to accommodate something specific, I will always be upfront and let you know before booking so there are no surprises. Your dog’s comfort and consistency are always my priority. When caring for pets, whether in my home or yours, my top priority is making sure your dog feels as comfortable and at ease as possible. I believe in sticking to your dog’s established routine, because familiarity goes a long way in keeping them calm and happy while you’re away. I provide walks in the morning, midday, and in the evening to make sure your pup stays active and gets plenty of fresh air. Feeding is always done according to your dog’s schedule and dietary instructions — I will follow whatever routine you have at home so there are no disruptions to what your dog is used to. I also take the time to understand the individual needs of each dog in my care. Every dog is different, and I want to make sure I’m attentive to their personality, comfort level, and any special requirements they may have. My goal is simply to do my very best to provide a safe, loving, and consistent experience for your fur baby until you return.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 7 years and absolutely love what I do! Over the years, I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds and sizes, cats with all kinds of personalities, and even a few small pets in between. I take pride in giving each animal the same love and attention I give my own. Whether it’s going for a walk, playtime at the park, cuddles on the couch, or making sure they’re fed and comfortable while you’re away, I’m always focused on keeping your pets happy and cared for. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well looked after. I am currently a stay at home partner looking for some work to help out during the day. Animals are my passion and I have all the time in the world to take care of your babies. I myself have cats and a dog and I absolutely love taking care of them i couldn’t think of a better way to spend my time. When caring for pets in someone’s home, I always make it my goal to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own, making sure they feel safe and cared for while their family is away. Whether it’s sticking to feeding schedules, taking walks, playing, or simply giving them company and comfort, I focus on creating a calm, happy environment. I understand that pets are family, and I take that responsibility to heart every time I step into someone’s home.
“Laura was phenomenal. It was a last minute booking and she went out of her way to make our life easy while I’m out of town and my husband having a changing work schedule. She was an extra hand that adapted to changes quickly which we both appreciated.”

“Lillie did a wonderful job caring for our dog. She kept us informed on how he was doing and their activities together. She also kept our house as clean as we left it! We will definitely ask her to care for our precious Cheo again!”

“Aaliya was fantastic. For our initial meeting before the job, she came over and stayed and chatted with me for over an hour. I felt very comfortable around her (as did my pets), and I felt good about her staying in my home for the weekend. She was super punctual and communicative (lots of photo and video updates!), and she left my house at least as good as it was when I left, if not better. Without hesitation, I would book with Aaliya again!”

“Eric has a very calm demeanor that my dogs responded to (10-month-old and 10-year-old German Shorthaired Pointers). I was comfortable leaving him not only with my animals but also in my home. Will definitely use him again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was little, including my own pit bull and shih tzu. Having experience with both high energy and low energy dogs has taught me how to adjust my care to fit each pup’s needs. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and provide loving attention to their pets. Whether your dog needs active playtime or a calm, cozy companion, I’ll make sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for. I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m available throughout the day and week. This allows me to give your pets plenty of attention, playtime, and care whenever they need it. When caring for pets in their own home, I do my best to keep their routine the same so they feel comfortable and secure. I’ll make sure they’re fed on schedule, get plenty of walks or playtime, and always have fresh water. I’ll also give them lots of love and attention, and I’m happy to send photo updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
About: (Previously Reyna & Jaye w/ 150+ five star reviews) ABOUT US: Hi there! My name is Jaye (also working alongside Reyna) and I’m a passionate dog lover. I have been in animal care for multiple years and I offer experienced personalized dog sitting and walking services to meet the needs of you and your fur baby. Reyna & Jaye work together, which helps if either or are away for any reason, and we totally understand how anxious and worrisome it can be to leave your babies so whether you’re looking for a daily walk/daycare or a weekend getaway, we’re here to help! I provide reliable and loving care and communication to owners as if they were our own🥰. I can assure you that your loved ones will be loved and soiled as our own throughout their stay. They may not even want to go home LOL! I (Reyna) have endless experience with dogs, cats, and even bunnies! I have worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility in Lawrenceville GA for about two years. Until about a year ago, I switched to doing at-home pet care to meet the needs of pups that prefer in-home comfortability over large crowded facilities. Pups get individual attention and care in a cleanly, at-home environment and tons of playtime in our fenced backyard. Pictures and videos are provided with all services! Booking process is super easy and we’re super flexible with any times :) We dedicate our full time, energy, and heart to ensuring every pet in our care feels completely at home. YOUR PET: For safety, Please let me know if your dog is not spayed/neutered. Please give me an appropriate description of your pup and their personality/care so I can best fit their needs :) All that’s required is food and a leash! We can provide bowls and kennels (if requested). We can also take in anything you’d like to bring like toys, treats, a bed, etc. Because this is our home, we cannot take in pups with below average hygiene like mud/dirt or a strong hygienic odor. My daily routine is carefully structured to ensure every fur baby feels happy, safe, and comfortable. Mornings begin with outdoor or indoor play to help the pups release energy and start their day on a positive note. Meal times are handled individually, with separate feeding to accommodate each pet’s dietary needs and preferences, ensuring a stress-free dining experience. Throughout the day, I provide unlimited outdoor breaks for fresh air and exercise, weather permitting, allowing them to explore and stay active. In addition to ample playtime to keep them engaged, I dedicate time for cuddles and relaxation, creating the perfect balance of activity and comfort. Each moment is designed to make your pet’s stay enjoyable, as I truly cherish their company.
“Kimberlee was an excellent sitter for our two dogs. One of our dogs is very anxious and takes a long time to warm up to people, but she quickly warmed up to Kimberlee. Kimberlee kept our house tidy and even watered our plants. We would definitely book with Kimberlee again.”

“Alexis was what I needed!!! She came on time! She did a great job communicating with me! She was very attentive to my fur son! She played with him, gave him attention, and was just there for him overall. She followed my schedule that I left for him, too! She returned my home to me the same way I’d left it for her, which was appreciated. She is truly a sweetheart and my son absolutely adored her! I’m grateful I took a chance, and will continue to use her services again as long as she’s on the platform.”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Willow Wind walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Willow Wind maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Willow Wind choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Willow Wind. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
