I currently have two dogs of my own — Pepper, my 10-year-old Dachshund mix, and Carson, my 8-year-old French Bulldog. Both of my dogs are on the smaller side, so my preference is to watch smaller dogs, as they tend to be the best fit for our home dynamic.
