Nothing makes me happier than being near dogs, so I guarantee your dog will have my utmost attention. If requesting boarding or daily day care, your dog must be friendly with other dogs. Happy to provide multiple references that I regularly watch their dogs outside of Rover also. I work from home so I am with my dogs 24/7. I spend a lot of time outside playing with them throughout the day and fetch. I have 2 dogs and a huge fenced in yard to keep your dog company. I've taken care of cats, dogs, even hamsters, fish and plants for neighbors, friends, family and later on for clients through apps like these. I started taking care of pets at age 10 which was around the same time I got my cat, Allegra. I loved her like my own child. We would even take walks together. She lived a good 14 years but that of course was still too short for me. She was a family member to me, not just a cat. She was even kind to the random strays I would bring home and be forced to return lol. I also grew up with my dog Angel (pictured). She lived for 14 years too. Her last few years were rough and she was on a lot of medications. I have experience administering those. We had to put her down and that was such a hard decision. Another family member lost. I'm still proud that they both lived long lives. I've had other cats short term since then. I adopted a black cat, Maleficent Marie, in February 2023 and shes my new fur baby. I started using Rover in 2018 when it first started but deactivated because I lived in areas that didn't use the app at all. I can't wait to meet your pet and I'll make them a priority like they're family! I'm currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to drop in or even stay with your furry family members. About: I have a lot of experience with various animals. I also take care of my 11 year old Shih Tzu who who is allergic to grass and has anxiety so I’m used to providing extra care. I am currently taking a break from school and I have a part time job so my schedule is pretty flexible for the most part. I have a pretty calm temperament so animals usually tend to get along with me, but I also can handle and control any unexpected situations that occur. I am pretty familiar with reading the body language of the pets to make sure they are comfortable.

About: I have always had many pets in my house growing up! I’ve cared for dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, and more. My current pets include my dog Max, my cat Ruby, and my hamster, Hamlet. I worked at a dog day care/ boarding center for most of 2023. I take joy in caring for my animals and their health and happiness is most important to me. I have petsit for my family members for years as well. I am currently a Senior at Georgia Gwinnett College, but I still plenty of time for caring for animals. I am usually still available on every day of the week. I have plenty of experience with crating dogs and can do it quite easily as I used to work at a dog kennel. I have bathed dogs and cats as well so I can do that if needed. I walk both my own and others’ dogs every day and know how to deal with complications that may arise.

“Layla was great! I had to cancel my initial booking and she was understanding. I booked her the following weekend and we had a meet and great that went well. When I dropped off Canela she was sitting another dog and they got along and I got lots of pics and videos of them playing. It made me happy because she doesn’t get enough play time and I had peace of mind that my dog wasn’t bored. Layla sent me updates throughout the stay which I appreciate. On pick up day, there was a little confusion on the time, and Layla was kind enough to drop her off to me. I would recommend and I’ll book again. Thanks!”

About: I’ve always adored pets growing up and both of my parents are certified veterinarians so I pretty much grew up around animals my entire life! I’m currently a college student doing online classes so I am at home majority of the time taking care of my own personal pets day to day I monitor them really the entire time with them by my side, but I also have two veterinarians with me in my household every day
