“Felicia was great with Grayci. She sent tons of photos and videos to reassure me that I made the right decision. Before I knew it, Grayci was handing out kisses like they were candy. So happy my fur baby loved her. Will be using Felicia again soon.”

About: I’ve always adored pets growing up and both of my parents are certified veterinarians so I pretty much grew up around animals my entire life! I’m currently a college student doing online classes so I am at home majority of the time taking care of my own personal pets day to day I monitor them really the entire time with them by my side, but I also have two veterinarians with me in my household every day
“Winston had a wonderful day with his new friends James, his wife De and their dogs Charlee and Chloe. James did everything we could ask for and more to make Winston's stay a success. We received lots of photos throughout the day showing all the fun Winston was having. That allowed my wife and I to enjoy our day together knowing Winston was being well cared for. This was the first time we used Rover.com and it was a great experience. We will definitely be booking with James again.”

About: *Update: In regards to the new weekly feature, I can only do so in YOUR home. I am a cat person but I also love dogs. I'm an equal opportunist lol . I've taken care of cats, dogs, even hamsters, fish and plants for neighbors, friends, family and later on for clients through apps like these. I started taking care of pets at age 10 which was around the same time I got my cat, Allegra. I loved her like my own child. We would even take walks together. She lived a good 14 years but that of course was still too short for me. She was a family member to me, not just a cat. She was even kind to the random strays I would bring home and be forced to return lol. I also grew up with my dog Angel (pictured). She lived for 14 years too. Her last few years were rough and she was on a lot of medications. I have experience administering those. We had to put her down and that was such a hard decision. Another family member lost. I'm still proud that they both lived long lives. I've had other cats short term since then. I adopted a black cat, Maleficent Marie, in February 2023 and shes my new fur baby. I started using Rover in 2018 when it first started but deactivated because I lived in areas that didn't use the app at all. I can't wait to meet your pet and I'll make them a priority like they're family! I'm currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to drop in or even stay with your furry family members. My home is not open to animals at the moment and I can sincerely vouch that I will treat your home respectfully like mine or anyone else's. I'm also fully vaccinated and take Covid seriously. I don't mind wearing a mask for long hours or at all and will abide by any covid restrictions you personally have. My goal is to build a trusting relationship and to have more repeat clientele!
“When Bailey jumped out of the car and ran straight to Diana every day, I knew she was a keeper. She kept me updated with photos, was always pleasant, and responded quickly. I also loved that she has a fenced-in yard where Bailey could run and play freely—he loves being outdoors. I highly recommend Diana and will definitely book with her again and again!”

“Butterscotch absolutely loves Mary Jane. He looks forward to going to visit her every time. He loves Nala, who is his big sister and protector? This is a great place to bring your little fur baby.”

“Linda is an excellent sitter and any animal is blessed and lucky to be in her care. She was so friendly and complimentary to my family. Linda took such good care of my dog, which was evident in the messages, pictures and a video she sent while he visited her.”

About: I've cared for dogs and cats my entire life. I've studied animal cognition, behavior, and training. I've participated in obedience training, agility, and my prior pets were Canine Good Citizen certified. I have worked with both dogs and cats and a variety of breeds including high energy herding breeds. I have a large 1 acre fenced yard that is perfect for running, playing, and getting the ya yas out! I am currently avilable anytime (weekdays, evenings, and weekends) for boarding or doggie daycare at my home or drop-in visits at your home. I have plenty of time to spoil your furbabies! I have a large home and beautiful and secure 1 acre fenced yard in a lovely neighborhood. I currently don't have any pets so those furbabies that don't get a long with others can be the center of attention here!
About: My dogs are far apart in age so I have puppy experience and experience with having a senior dog. I know how to run and play but also relax and provide the most attention. I hope to give you exactly what your dog needs. Im currently finishing high school and I am going to college in the fall. During the summer I will be working part time which gives me free time to invest in my love for animals. I can provide your pet the best day of love and fun. I do have two small lovable dogs of my own who wouldn’t mind getting to know your most important family member.
“Our Vinny had another awesome time with Karen. Karen sent several photos and videos to update us with the great day Vinny was having. I look forward to having Vinny spend many future days with Karen and her family”
“I couldn’t be happier with Emily & Josh’s care for my Peanut. Emily provided updates every day and sent plenty pictures of my fur baby smiling and having a great time. I will definitely be using their service again!”

About: I will love your pet like my own and if you ask my friends they will tell you that they would love to live as one of my dogs. I have had dogs since I was very young and work hard to include them in all aspects of my life. I have also had litters and cared for and found them well suited loving homes. I have been a volunteer with the humane society and Patriot Paws for many years. My goldens are well behaved and love working on commands, so I am happy to continue any training you might want your dog to keep practicing while you are away. Nothing makes me happier than being near dogs, so I guarantee your dog will have my utmost attention. If requesting boarding or daily day care, your dog must be friendly with other dogs. Happy to provide multiple references that I regularly watch their dogs outside of Rover also. I work from home so I am with my dogs 24/7. I spend a lot of time outside playing with them throughout the day and fetch. I have 2 dogs and a huge fenced in yard to keep your dog company. My house sits on 3 acres that is fully fenced in so there is plenty of room for dogs to run. In spring and summer I also have multiple hard plastic small pools they can lounge in.
About: You're not looking for a pet sitter. You're looking for a second home for your furchild. I get it — leaving your fur baby behind is the hardest part of any trip. That's why I've built the kind of setup I'd want for my own dog, because my chihuahua lives here too, and he has very high standards. Here's what your fur baby's stay actually looks like: 🛏️ Cage-free, always. Your fur baby sleeps in the bed. On the couch. Wherever they're happiest. Zero kennels, zero crates, zero lonely nights. 🏡 A real home, not a facility. Large fenced backyard with security cameras throughout — so I can watch over your fur baby around the clock. 📸 Daily photos + on-demand updates. One less thing to stress about on travel day. 👩⚕️ Small dog specialist. I own a chihuahua and know the medical, dietary, and emotional needs of small breeds inside and out — from temperature sensitivity to feeding schedules to the big personality packed into a tiny body. ⭐ Intimate by design. I only accept 2 guests at a time, so your fur baby always gets personalized attention — never lost in a crowd. ⏰ 24/7 care. I work from home. Your fur baby is never alone. MY PROMISE You'll spend your trip actually relaxing — not refreshing your texts hoping for a sign of life. I'll send you a photo before you even land. SEE IT FOR YOURSELF Not sure yet? Come tour my home before you decide. Meet my chihuahua, see the backyard, and get a real feel for where your fur baby will be staying. I want you walking away with complete confidence — not just hope. Message me to schedule your free home tour today. 🏠 Spots fill up fast around holidays — message me anytime to check availability. No question is too small when it comes to your fur baby. 🐾 I'm home full-time, so caring for your fur baby fits naturally into my day — it's not a side task, it's my lifestyle. I'm with my own chihuahua almost all day, every day, which means any fur baby in my care gets that same level of presence, consistency, and attention around the clock. No rushing home between meetings, no leaving them alone for hours — just a calm, steady routine that keeps your fur baby feeling safe, loved, and right at home. Your fur baby is treated like family from the moment they arrive. There are no cages, no crates, and no isolation — just a warm, welcoming home where they're free to roam, play, and relax just like they would at home. Every fur baby gets my full attention throughout the day. We start with a morning walk, followed by playtime and relaxing in my large fenced backyard. If your fur baby enjoys outings, I can take them to one of two nearby parks — Lenora Park or Alexander Park — for extra exercise and fun. In the evenings, it's wind-down time — cuddles on the couch and a good night's sleep in the bed, never alone in a crate. I follow your fur baby's existing routine as closely as possible — feeding schedules, nap times, medications, and any special needs are all taken seriously and never overlooked. As a chihuahua owner, I'm especially attuned to the needs of small breeds, from temperature sensitivity to portion sizes to reading their mood and body language. Throughout the day I send photo and video updates so you always know how your fur baby is doing — and I'm always available if you want to check in. I only host 2 guests at a time, so your fur baby always gets personalized, one-on-one care — never lost in a crowd.

“I absolutely loved working with Taylor! It was my first time using rover and she was so kind and easy to work with! She sent pictures and videos and was great at communicating throughout the day!”

“As a pet owner, I was a bit nervous leaving my precious dog Bentley with a sitter for three full days. However, the experience was absolutely wonderful thanks to the incredible care and attention provided by Donnie & Katie. From the moment I dropped Bentley off, I could tell he was in good hands. The sitter sent me regular updates, photos, and videos throughout each day, which put my mind at ease. I loved seeing Bentley happily playing, sleeping, and hanging out with the sitter. It was clear Bentley was receiving tons of love and affection. Donnie & Katie were incredibly responsive to any questions or requests I had. They followed all of Bentley's preferences to a tee, helped with basic commands and just made the transition seamless. I returned to pick up a happy, healthy, tired, and well-cared for pup. I cannot recommend Donnie and Katie highly enough. They went above and beyond to ensure Bentley was safe, comfortable, and entertained the entire time. I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful caretaker for my furry family member. I will absolutely be using their services again in the future.”

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Windsor commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
