About: I’ve had fur babies my entire life. I’ve always loved animals and making sure they’re healthy and happy is a passion for me…! Let’s Connect I do a lot of my work from home and have my schedule pretty comfortable to spend time with fur babies. If I know ahead of time, I can accommodate. I have a nice sized apartment. I now have a backyard! My apartment complex has a large dog park, soccer field, walking trail and there’s even a dog park less than 2 minutes away from my house 🏡 nothing but fun and care here…

About: I've had cats my entire life and dogs for the last 15 years. Currently I have 6 cats and 2 dogs. I have a way of getting chosen by animals lol. We have many strays in our neighborhood and the cat distribution system seems to know I won't let them die lol. I have bottle fed many, including 4 of the six I currently own. I had a third dog but he sadly crossed the rainbow bridge in March after 14 loving years. My dogs need medication daily and I have no problem giving it to them. These experiences will only help me to take care of your fur family to the best of my ability! I am an entrepreneur currently as I was laid off from my 9-5 in December after 12 years. My schedule is open and generally free. Occasionally I am unavailable from Sat -Tues but that's something I know well in advance. I have my own transportation and don't mind animals in my car. I will care for any pet as if it's my own. Spoiled and loved. Care will be inevitably determined by the pet parent and the animals specific needs.

About: I provide personalized, in-home style boarding with structured playtime, daily walks, enrichment activities, and plenty of affection. I prioritize safety, communication, and a calm environment where dogs feel secure, loved, and comfortable. My home, I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment where pets are treated like family. I maintain a consistent routine with scheduled potty breaks, daily walks, structured playtime, and plenty of supervised interaction. I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time to ensure personalized attention and safety. Pets have comfortable resting areas and constant access to fresh water. I follow feeding schedules exactly as instructed and can administer medications if needed. In a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining the pet’s normal routine to reduce stress. I follow all care instructions closely, provide regular updates with photos, and ensure the home is respected and left exactly as I found it. My goal is always to create a stress-free experience for both the pet and the owner. Pet care is naturally integrated into my daily routine. I schedule walks, feeding times, play, and supervision throughout the day to ensure consistency, attention, and a calm, structured environment.

Maria is a wonderful walker! She always takes the pups on an adventure instead of circling the neighborhood endlessly. I love seeing the photos come through of the scenic walk they go on. She is super professional, prompt, and pleasant. Thankful to have her take my dogs out for a fun hour. They always enjoy themselves and are tired out upon returning.

About: I have lived with dogs starting at age 13 and been a part of raising 3 dogs in all the time since then. I pay special attention to a dog’s needs, having participated in both puppy training and frequent monitoring and potty breaks/clean up for senior dogs. I go as far as picking a dog up off the ground if no paw slips are available during sweltering conditions! My dog experience has been within the 40-70 pound range, but I can only walk a dog up to 40 pounds (unless the large dog is off-leash trained/VERY focused on their walker and doesn’t pull). Playtime is something I value in providing dogs as a form of both physical exercise and mental enrichment. I provide updates and pictures to both showcase my accountability/standards and give an owner peace of mind while their pets are under my supervision. I follow any instructions and preferences provided by an owner very closely, making sure to review them before service is provided. The trust of an owner and their pet(s) are of utmost importance to me to respect and earn. I am very excited to work with more owners and animals! Thank you for reading! My dog sleeps in my room with me, so I typically wake up early to let her outside to use the bathroom. Then, we socialize with family, and we give her treats throughout the day. She loves chasing a ball in our woodsy backyard, so I make sure to do that with her until she’s panting and thoroughly spent. She eats one bowl a day in the evening with either dried nutritional supplement or leftover dinner from a previous night (she’s spoiled!). Plenty of opportunities to go out to use the bathroom, especially before bedtime. Lots of snuggles. She currently has a lot of my time and attention as I seek full-time work, but I always make sure to let her use the bathroom before I would normally go to work. This kind of intimate care where I spend a great amount of quality time with my dog is how I like to be with pets that are in my care. Frequent check-ins as needed, if not spending a great deal of time together so the pet doesn’t feel lonely in the owner’s absence! Routine is essential for animals, and I try to keep a consistent one with my dog. Routine and consistency will absolutely be kept for any animals in my care. Punctuality and reliability are very important to me— as well as pets!

She responded quickly, was open to receiving additional information, checked in when she arrived, and communicated clearly throughout the visit. I was a first time Rover user, due to boarding at a local pet daycare not working out. I have two in tact opposite gender fur babies, who have never been cared for by anyone but their in home family….us. My family and I went on a 5 day vacation and needed to have them walked 3x per day. Due to the turnaround time, the walker needed to be booked within 48 hours. Being a novice, I thought I would need to cancel my family’s vacation. Cheyenne accepted my booking and was such a gem! Cheyenne went above and beyond during the 5 days she was booked to walk my two fur babies. She was so kind to keep with their walk times to the minute. She was never late and always on time. My two fur babies took to her immediately, which to me was the best feeling as a fur parent. She even taught me how to use the Rover App! She sent pictures as a part of their walk report card. I know Cheyenne will now be our go to, anytime we are needing a qualified and loving sitter! Thank you so much Cheyenne again for taking our booking. 🥰

Katie is a natural with animals! My skittish Great Dane is paw-sitively enamored with her new best friend who takes her for fun walks, and Katie goes above and beyond by making sure the cat gets some love too. Whether your pet is 10 or 110lbs she handles them with the ease and experience of a pro!

Wow, Bubbles and I lucked out! Isabelle is fantastic for my high energy dog!! Bubbles has a bit of stranger danger and i asked for a slow intro and Isabelle was happy to oblige . So incredibly knowledgeable about different behavior issues and dog breeds, and listened to every concern when it came to turning over the leash. We are about a week in and i absolutely feel like i can go back to work and not worry. Im so happy i found them.

Lillie was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Kilo. From the start, her communication was clear and thoughtful, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. She was always punctual and dependable, and it was obvious that she truly cared about Kilo’s comfort and happiness during their walks. Her kindness and patience really stood out, and I could tell Kilo enjoyed his time with her. It means a lot to find someone who treats your dog with the same care and attention you would yourself. I’m very grateful for Lillie and would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and genuinely kind dog walker.

  • 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
