“Katie gave the kind of attention to my kitties that gave me the peace of mind I needed, in order for me to leave them. She sent numerous photos, each visit, making certain I was aware of each kitty's well being. Katie's love of animals is so obvious and she is the perfect person to care for and tend to pets. We will trust her again and again for our future jaunts.”

“Yolinette is the most responsive Rover I’ve worked with. She takes great pictures and let’s you know exactly what went on during her visits. I will always use her to watch my cats.”
“I might be completing this review twice. Hameeda treated my pups with great care and concern. Gus and Roux are members of my family and I felt comfortable leaving them in the care of Hameeda.”

About: I was the one kid always annoying their parents to get them a pet and then I finally got one! I was fortunate enough to get my little boy when he was 8 weeks and now he is 6! We went through the puppy stage all the way through his reactive stage, never made me love him any less we just needed to work with him! No pet is ever “too much” just may need extra time and attention! I am here to provide the best care for your pets this summer! I am current a college student attending Georgia Southern University! I am fortunate enough to say I am student athlete home for the summer. Due to that I have to be present earlier than most students leaving me with no time for a part time but lots of time to petsit! I am free mostly everyday with not much planned this summer! I am able to be very flexible and work with any needs presented! I can easily leash/harnest pets when/if needed! If the pets need to be put in crate as well I ensure that will be no problem for me! I know when an animal is feeling overwhelmed or needs space, I will never work against a pet always with them!
“Sophia was absolutely amazing with my cats and also took great care of my home while I was away. She was attentive, reliable, communicative, and clearly genuinely loves animals. Knowing my cats were in good hands while I was away gave me such peace of mind. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring!”

“Johanna is great with my puppy. She plays with him and cuddles him and he's always excited to see her. She even brings in my packages when she sees them outside. I would recommend her.”

About: I have friends who had a dogs and cats which I have help playing and taking care of them for about a few years. My love for them has increased over the years and I have shown deep care for them according to my friends I’m currently a full time student so it would be difficult but my love for dogs and cats made me realize that I truly want to fit of taking care of cats and dogs into my schedule. I have a fence yard with plenty of rooms that are big enough for your pets to play in. There are not any hazardous items laying around where dogs and cats cannot easily access

“Diane was fantastic. We have a german shepherd and lab mix; both that can be full of energy. We scheduled in-home visits and the lab mix is always scared of new people. She was so nervous that she wouldn't use the bathroom outside alone. So Diane walked her on a leash to ensure she went to the bathroom-- what a relief for us to not have to worry about accidents inside! Within the end of the week, the lab mix was no longer scared. We received pictures every day that showed the german shepherd was playing fetch. We couldn't have been more pleased for our first Rover experience. I would DEFINITELY recommend Diane!!”

“Lyndsey was absolutely amazing with Luna from the initial meet and greet to every single visit! She is patient and kind which goes a long way when dealing with an highly anxious pup who has special needs. I highly recommend Lyndsey to take care of your pets needs while you are away. Thanks again Lyndsey! You’re so awesome!!!”

“Peyton is amazing!! I’m glad I was able to hire her. I didn’t worry one minute while I was away about if he was being taken care of. I highly recommend Peyton and I will be booking her again in the near future. Rover made it possible to find great pet sitters such like Peyton!!! Thank you”

“Amber is absolutely the best dog sitter we have ever had. Our dogs love her and she takes great care with them. I cannot recommend her enough. You will not be disappointed. She is very trustworthy and very kind and very sweet.”
“Ashley is amazing! She left me details about every visit and even helped when I had a leaky sink. I felt very comfortable going out of town and having her take care of my cat.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Arbor Trace
Grace was super helpful when it came to a long trip she stopped by every 3 days to check on our 2 cats. She sent many photos and videos showing the status of things ljke cleaned litter boxes. She also helped us by starting my car to let it run a few minutes. Will definitely book again!

Nelly is a wonderful and incredibly thoughtful sitter. She came to our meet-and-greet well prepared with a notebook to make sure she didn’t miss a thing, which immediately put me at ease. She took beautiful photos of my cats — just the right amount — and kept communication clear and reassuring throughout my time away. Nelly was also very flexible and always available when I needed to extend visits. I truly appreciated her care and attention, and I would absolutely recommend her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
