About: I've been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. From friends, family, and neighbors trusting me to walk their dogs and pet sit, to working with rescues and animal shelters since I was 12, caring for pets has always been a huge part of my life. I'm currently a veterinary assistant, which has given me even more hands-on experience with animals of all breeds, ages, and personalities. Having worked with several rescue organizations and shelters, I'm comfortable caring for everything from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets and those who need a little extra patience and attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own and will make sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. On weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), I have open availability and can provide care at any time of day. During the weekdays, I'm available in the mornings before 10:00 AM and in the evenings after 5:00 PM. I always make time to provide reliable, attentive care and will ensure your pet gets the love, exercise, and attention they deserve while you're away. But these hours may change so always contact me and I will let you know if I can do it! Whether I'm caring for pets at my home or in a client's home, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while maintaining their normal routine. I have a friendly Black Lab named Mo who is well socialized and enjoys the company of other dogs when appropriate. I'm happy to take dogs on walks, provide drop-in visits, administer medications, refill food and water, clean up after pets, and spend quality time playing or cuddling—whatever your pet needs to feel happy and comfortable. As a current veterinary assistant with years of rescue and shelter experience, I'm confident caring for pets of all ages, breeds, and personalities. I'll treat your furry family members as if they were my own and make sure they receive the best possible care.

Lucie was wonderful! She was very communicative, kept me updated, and sent pictures during each visit. I especially appreciated her punctuality and flexibility—she even came early in the morning so my cat’s insulin schedule didn’t need to be changed. Most importantly, my cats were very relaxed when I came home, which showed me they had been well cared for. I would definitely recommend Lucie and would happily book her again!

Katie is an A+, above and beyond sitter that I would recommend to any of my family and friends. She treats my pets as if they were her own. I always know they are in great hands when Katie sits for us. She is very communicative and responsive, plus immensely kind and considerate.

Abigail was very attentive to our little Sophie. She needs lots of playtime and Abigail understood the assignment. She reached out for questions and kept us in the loop for each visit. Definitely keeping her on my list of go-to sitters. Thank you, Abigail! 🐾

Sydney & Yoonho were exceptional caretakers for our 3 cats. They provided prompt updates, detailed communication, and a lot of pictures! We had total peace of mind while we were away from home and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing drop-in visits! Plus, our babies LOVED them! Thanks both!

Johanna was an amazing sitter for our sweet cat. He was taken care of so well and it was so nice being able to not worry while being out of town. She sent pictures every day and updated us with everything we needed to know. She was punctual and always came at the same time everyday and was always available to chat if I had a question. 10/10 would recommend and will be using her again this next weekend!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodhaven Downs. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
