“Nakeisha is truly the best! I’ve used her a couple of times to watch my dog, Lucky, and I will never look back. She’s incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, dependable, and so professional in everything she does. Lucky always has the best time with her — he loves her family and all the pup friends he meets while he’s there. I’m truly grateful to have found her! Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.”

“"I can’t recommend them enough! They were so kind to squeeze me in last minute and were incredibly flexible with my return time when things shifted. Most importantly, they took wonderful care of my dog—I loved getting the photo updates and could tell he was having a great time. He came home happy and settled. Truly a lifesaver!"”

“Dawn and Steve took such great care of Labrador Quincy while we were away for 10 days! I loved the frequent photo updates! Quincy enjoyed their big back yard and loved being in a family environment while we were away. Would definitely book with them again. Thank you so much Dawn & Steve!!”

“Stephanie was super communicative and is clearly an animal lover. Her pup, Buddy, is a great ambassador and her home has a great fenced in yard for playing or sunbathing. I appreciated her sending pictures and updates during my pup's stay. He needs medication and Stephanie was wonderful about giving it to him with no issues or shying away. We will have him stay with Stephanie and Buddy when we need an overnight sitter again. We 100% recommend her!”
“Erica did a great job with my buddy Thor. He was super spoiled and loved by her and her family. I was afraid he wouldn’t want to come back home 😂. I could tell by the pictures he was smiling, soaking up all the attention and love. Would definitely book him for another stay in the future ❤️”

“Great family and they took very good care of Neo. He was flying out internationally and they played a major role in the coordination process. Can’t thank them enough for what they have done for Neo.”

“Our Molly was not sure about things when first dropped off but, soon realized no worries and going to be well kept. They walked her even though they have a large fenced in yard that was a bonus to us. We will definitely be re booking with Ryan when needed.”

“Nick is always a pleasure to work with. Max is always relaxed and stress free when he comes home from Nick's. Nick is reliable we have used him every year for our family vacation and he doesn't disappoint. Book Nick if you want a worry free stay and a happy pup!”

“Terry was a great host for our three pups. He sent many pics and updates and the pups seemed really happy. This was the longest we had left them and felt totally at ease the whole time. It seems like they had a great time with Terry and his young dog Ollie. Our pups have a great new friend!”
About: My Golden, Polly, was my everything for 12 wonderful years. Now, family and friends have trusted me to care for their beloved fur babies. I would love the opportunity to welcome your pup into our home and provide them with the same love, attention, and care I would give my own. As a stay-at-home mom, I have the flexibility to create my own schedule and can be very accommodating while your pet is in my care. My days are primary centered around caring for your pet, with occasional errands and regular school drop-offs and pick-ups. I kindly ask for at least one week's advance notice when booking. Returning clients are welcome to book with less notice whenever my schedule allows. My husband and I have two young daughters, so it's important to us that any dogs welcomed into our home are gentle, friendly, and comfortable around children. To ensure every dog receives plenty of love, attention, and care, I only take one at a time. I can accommodate multiple dogs when they are from the same family.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember! I grew up with pets and have been caring for animals most of my life. My family has a farm, so I’m very comfortable around all kinds of animals and understand the love, patience, and attention they deserve. I’ll treat your fur babies like family while they’re in my care! I work full-time, but I’m fortunate to have a flexible schedule and live just 5 minutes from work. This allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine and provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and make sure they receive consistent, loving care while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first! I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and specific needs so they feel comfortable and cared for. I provide a clean, calm, and loving environment with plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles when they’re wanted. I’ll also keep you updated so you can have peace of mind knowing your fur baby is happy and safe while you’re away. I do have a fenced in yard. I currently do not have any pets of my own so it will be a free comfortable space for your fur babies
“I booked an overnight boarding with Presley and my dogs seemed to really like him! He was easy for my dogs to get acquainted to as my dogs usually take a full day to get used to new people. I also appreciated how flexible and timely he communicated with me. Will book again for sure!”

“She was absolutely wonderful! She proactively provided updates throughout the stay, which really put my mind at ease and made me feel confident that my baby was in the right hands. She also made sure he got plenty of outdoor time and attention. I truly appreciate how caring and responsible she was. I would definitely recommend her!”

“I felt like I left Max in very capable hands. After a number of bad boarding experiences I would feel bad about leaving him anywhere. Christopher reassured me he was in good hands and Max seemed excited about his stay.”

“Winter loves JR. He is our go-to person whenever we need we need to stay with someone overnight. He’s always so caring and sweet with winter that winter comes back home super happy and is always excited to see JR again!”

“I highly recommend this sitter! She watched my dogs over the weekend and was professional and diligent at every step. She carefully followed all of my dog’s restrictions and sent regular photo updates, which really put my mind at ease. I knew as soon as I dropped them off that it would work out. From her demeanor to the environment she provided, I knew my dogs would be ok. When i collected my dogs, they were doing great, no change of attitude, the very same i dropped off. It was such a great experience, and I can’t recommend her enough.”

Jiwon was amazing! We’ll definitely use her again if we need a sitter for Ninja. She was very prompt and responsive, even when we booked within 7 days of our drop off date. She sent pictures of Ninja enjoying his time with her and made sure to follow his schedule. She also made pick up and drop off a piece of cake!

Asara is a wonderfully kind human who cares about dogs! She was communicative, thoughtful and understanding of my dog's unique needs while boarding. We received lots of pictures and videos, and she is also highly adaptable to my dog's needs and shared what she observed during his time with her. We are very lucky to have found her :)

Bonnie and her daughter were both sweet and caring with my dog, Lexi, and she was very well taken care of. It was over the 4th of July weekend, and I was nervous because Lexi is very scared of fireworks but Bonnie kept me reassured by sending updates and pictures showing me that she was doing well. She was always quick to respond whenever I had a question. I would definitely book with Bonnie again and recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate dog sitter.

Nohely is the best!! It appears Lola loves her time there! I receive a picture and communication once a day which is perfect. Thank you so much for caring of Lola and providing her a safe space to stay! I appreciate Nohely accommodating Lola’s training and personality quirks!

Gina did an amazing job taking care of my dogs, Teddy and Luna. This was my first time ever leaving them with someone, and naturally I was a bit nervous—but Gina completely put my mind at ease. From the start, she was warm, communicative, and clearly experienced with dogs. She kept me updated with regular messages and photos while I was away, which meant so much and really helped me relax knowing they were happy and well cared for. It was obvious that Teddy and Luna were not only safe, but genuinely comfortable and enjoying their time with her. Gina also went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule for both drop-off and pick-up, which made the whole experience even smoother and stress-free. Her flexibility, kindness, and attention to detail really stood out. I’m so grateful to have found someone I can fully trust with my dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Gina again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and thoughtful pet sitter.

Terry and his wife were great! He communicated everything and sent pictures and videos multiple times a day. This was my first time leaving my dog with anyone who isn’t family and he made this process extremely easy and eased any worry! My Brooke seemed very comfortable and came back home happy and healthy. This was a 10/10 experience!

Peter took wonderful care of my puppy, Leo, for a full week. Leo is usually very anxious and takes time to warm up to new people, but he connected with Peter quickly. Peter sent daily updates and photos, which helped reassure me that Leo was adjusting well. When Leo came home, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I would absolutely book Peter again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
