About: In addition to common dog owner knowledge I am also equipped with exceptional K-9 to human communication skills that will help me make nervous, unsettled, shy, or anxious pets adjust to their temporary lodging. I acquired these skills during 10 years of K-9 protection handling and training education and practice along with 15 years of bodywork with a concentration in myofascial release. I can take pets on short notice for as long as necessary. Your dog(s) will not interact with other dogs while in my care, unless previously discussed. The interior of my 2500 sf home has the space and configuration to allow up to 4 dogs to be separated into their own "living" spaces. Having two of may own, I will only take two dogs as a time. I will provide exceptional care and 24/7 attention. Why I love dog sitting My entire life, personal and professional, has been with dogs afoot. I enjoy discovering their individual personalities. Meet my pets I have two Pomeranians. About my yard Fenced, however I prefer to hand walk client's pets. I am a jogger so if your pet is used to jogging each day for exercise we can make that happen. My experience administering medication I am happy to administer any necessary medications and supplements. I have been doing so for as long as I can remember, IV, IM, topical, and oral. I build my schedule around clients needs. Mine eat at 8 AM and 6 pm and get outside for fresh air and a bio bark every 4-5 hours. In a client's home, I leave absolutely no trace I have ben there. Extreme attention to detail, respect for your environment, and I follow instructions with precision. In my home, I follow the schedule I am given and keep a low and slow approach, giving them space, time, and calm/quiet emotional support to adjust. In both environments you will receive videos, pics, and updates multiple times per day.
“Kelsey has displayed so much patience with my anxiety ridden fur baby, Jackie. Though she still prefers to stay at home, I think she’s slowly beginning to get comfortable spending time with Kelsey and I’m soooo grateful for that.”

“Angie did a great job watching our pups for us during daycare. It was our first time booking with her and she was very thorough in learning about our pups, checked their shots were up to date, and sent us lots of photos during their visit. Both were super happy and content in her home. We would definitely book with Angie again!”

About: I work from home and would love to host and care for your fur babies while you are at work or away on vacation. I have loved animals of all types my entire life. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. I currently have a volunteer position with the same organization as a microchip coordinator. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. My family pets over the past 22 years were 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixes that all lived to be seniors. I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own currently, Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. I have a secure, fenced in yard with many areas to explore and space to run around. All gates are padlocked. I also stay outside with the dogs that are in my care. I leave a full bowl of water out 24 -7. I allow dogs to sleep in my bed if that is what they are accustomed to, I can also crate them if that is preferred. Your dog(s) will be safe and happy as guests in my home. I have a Red Cross Certification in Pet First Aid in the rare occasion there would be a need. I am also sensitive to dogs with thunder and firework fears, we have a comfy furnished basement space that mutes the bad sounds and we hang out there until everything calms down.

“Jennie and her family are amazing. She takes such good care of Samara while I am at work. Samara loves her big fenced in back yard, her girls and getting to play with other pups! She always comes home wiped out from having a good time! Thanks, Jennie!”

About: My fiance and I love pets, having grown up with pets we are so used to always having them around. With our recently completed deck and fence, your beloved puppies will be able to explore the big yard and enjoy the beautiful lake view and all the wildlife that it has to offer! Pet care fits easily into my daily routine! I work from home every day so taking the dogs out, playing with them, and simply spending time with them is as simple as making my morning coffee! As stated in my profile, I have a big fenced in yard with easy access from either side of the house and the basement door. I also have a very friendly, and playful Shiba Inu called Maple who loves to make new friends and show off her toy basket! The door to our newly built deck is always open so your pet will have every opportunity to watch the wildlife come and go, catch some fresh air and simply live a dogs life
“I would highly recommend….my puppy always seemed very content and happy after a day spent with tycilea ,she also came home tired and ready to snooze.Given how hard it is to tire out a Siberian husky I was quite impressed ……she also acted very excited every time I took her back to daycare….”

“I was so nervous using Rover. But, Amber eased all my concerns. My fur baby has enjoyed his stays with Amber and Jody. Amber is very responsive and personable. I will most definitely be using her again.”

About: I am CPR certified through ProTraining. I have worked at a Dog Daycare before for a couple of months! I have also pet-sat for many family and friends. I would love to meet and connect with many people and their lovely pets! I am currently a college student with a lot of time, so I have been looking for ways to spend my time wisely. I enjoy spending time with animals especially when I visit my family and friends. I am availability changes frequently, however with advanced notice I am willing to open up more availability when needed. I firmly believe in having plans in place at all times, in case something happens. With a plan, I always know what to do so I am thoroughly prepared. Since I am catering to House-Sitting services, I usually follow the instructions from the owner and take any additional safety precautions, for the pet. I always research the area I am in for things like parks if the owner is interested, other than that use the plan I prepare for each job I accept.
“Karen was able to help us out at the last minute and was such a huge help! She sent updates throughout the day on how Winnie was doing and her antics. She was flexible with our pickup and Winnie came home exhausted from a full day of play!”

About: I grew up in a home full of beautiful pets! Puppies, cats! Rabbits! I come from a family that loves animals! My father had a farm! We had horses! Beautiful ones! I love animals! As a child, I wanted to be a veterinarian! As fate would have it, I’m a lawyer! But I grew up caring for and loving animals. I have some experience, thanks to my father's farm. We have a special room just for the little ones we look after! There is also a spacious yard where we can walk and play. They will be just as happy during their stay here as they are at home!
About: Hi there! I’m brand new to Rover but not new to caring for pets as we have a 10-year-old fur baby of our own and we've had him since he was a pup. I have board and sit both dogs and cats for families several times and realized how much we enjoyed their company and how easy it was for to us have them in our homes especially given that we've already have a very similar routine in caring for Jojo. Boarding Care: We take our dog out 3x a day, and when we board, we will take them out 4x per day; once in the morning (7-9am), afternoon (12-2pm), evening (5-7pm) and then at night (9-11pm) before bedtime. We put out food in the morning and again in the evening. Happy to accommodate request on food instructions. About Jojo: he is territorial but only for the first couple of mins when you are entering his home so you'll experience this during drop off and pick-up. He does adjust quickly and gets along well with other dogs. He is our only dog so when you board with us your pet too will have a friend to play with. I work a hybrid (in office & work from home) schedule and between my husband and I we are able to easily manage the boarding schedule we have mentioned above. As we already have a pet of our own and an existing routine, we are able to host quite seamlessly so you can board with peace of mind. We have half an acre of fenced backyard, and when we take them out for the first time, we will walk them on a leash just so they are familiar with the territory or trust that they won't roam too far off.
The Woodlands dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kelsey was fantastic with our pittie! We did a trial meet & greet day just to see how our pup would do since he prone to resource guarding and can be aggressive with other dogs. Kelsey immediately put him at ease and clearly was super comfortable around him. The space was great with lots of light, comfy spots to lounge, and fenced in back patio area. We have already booked our next stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an experienced care giver!

I am very satisfied as this was my first time using rover. Tatiana sent me plenty of pictures and was communicating with me the whole day while her and her husband watched after Mini. My dog was well cared for and that’s all I can ask. I would definitely recommend Tatiana and her husband (Who my dog liked too much LOL)

Betsy was very understanding and was such a pleasure to have around my dog and myself! Her communication was great. Romeo was very excited to go to her home and he made a new friend. Will most definitely book again! Normally when I take my dog to a dog sitter he comes back tired and covered in mud but with Betsy she took great care of Romeo and he loved it! Loved the pictures too Betsy sent me! Always kept me in the loop!
