When you first reach out to me for a meet and greet, I’ll let you know of any scheduled events during that time frame. I require any new pet client I work with to be able to be alone for at least four hours a day. Being able to take a break and have the option to leave the house is important, as that means that I can come back fully present to play and interact. During these breaks, I may head to the gym, the grocery store, have dinner with my husband, or go for a walk alone. My policy is: I would rather over communicate with you than under, so I let you know of my coming and going. Having time alone can also allow your pet to reset and rest as they won’t be getting constant mental stimulation- ultimately, a break can be good for everyone. I work from home so consistent and reliable internet is crucial. I am also taking evening classes at Georgia State University for my Doctorate Program.

Safety, trust & environment

My goal is to provide pet parents relief that their babies are safe, while allowing pet parents a few moments to take care of themselves and fully enjoy time away. I take a lot of pictures and videos of their baby lounging around the house or doing something silly - I like to share those and hope they bring a smile to the owners faces. For additional coverage and peace of mind, I have added pet sitting insurance through Pet Care Insurance (PCI), working on achieving my pet license, and I am a GoodPup Certified Trainer (GCT). I have re-certified in Canine & Feline CPR and First Aid as the safety of each animal is my number one priority. I will maintain any training plan you have set forth and am also available for training. 🐾 ⛔️ DISCLAIMER ⛔️ ❌️ A first-time Meet and Greet of 72-96 hours prior to booking is mandatory, except in rare dire emergencies. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. ⚠️Please ensure all pets, including dogs and cats, are listed on your profile. Any animals I'll be caring for must be listed. If you have a different species of animal you'd like me to care for, we'll need to discuss an additional charge and add them to your profile to be able to use the Rover Guarantee in emergencies. ⚠️ Your initial Meet and Greet is complimentary. For any additional Meet and Greets, kindly submit a Drop-in Visit or Dog Walk request to cover my time. For an overnight trial run, submit a Housesitting request. ⚠️ Following our meet and greet, you have 48 hours to confirm your booking. Failure to do so will result in the date being dropped to accommodate other clients. Act promptly to secure the spot. ⚠️ For House Sitting clients: Please note that due to previous last-minute cancellations, bookings now adhere to a 7-day cancellation policy. Rates may vary based on location, holidays, or other factors. ⚠️ For Clients Booking Under Training: Please note that I will assess training needs based on interactions observed between you and your pet, the kind of pet, and my ability to connect with your dog. I will provide a training plan and work with you on specific goals wishing to reach. Please note: I am unable to take on any clients with prior bite histories. ⚠️ I prioritize the safety of both your pet and myself. In the event of any aggression or discomfort, I reserve the right to meet their care requirements at a minimum to avoid stressing either of us. If your pet demonstrates aggression, I'll ensure their basic needs are met, including food, water, and bathroom breaks. However, for my safety, I will not stay for the duration of the visit. This policy is non-negotiable. Your pet's well-being is my utmost concern, as is my own. I can and will deny bookings if a bite occurs. ⚠️ I am unable to watch pets while someone else is staying in the house, especially if it’s an overnight house sitting service. If this does happen, a cancellation or a change from house sitting to drop in will occur without a change in cost. Respect and trust runs both ways - this means that I will not have anyone over during the service. If a person needs to drop by, let’s have a conversation about it.

A typical day

I love watching your beloved animal guide me around their neighborhood and seeing where we end up. I let your pet come to me at their own pace so I really appreciate seeing them in their natural home environment. I find that by the end of the visit, they feel very comfortable sitting next to me and that makes me truly happy to witness.

Pet care experience

Pet/Plant Care Sitter, Dog Trainer, & Pet Wedding Concierge 🐶🐱🐟🐢🐓🐹🪴🌿 I have been fascinated with understanding animals & their unique personalities since a young age. I began my journey with turtles, fishes, guinea pigs, and chickens - was promoted to cat mom in 2022. My seven-year-old orange tabby cat, Ralphie, is harness trained, is undergoing backpack and car training, and loves to explore. I am cultivating a thriving plant business and learning the ins/out of being a business owner. I’m happy to take care of any plants during time of service. I am also offering services as a pet wedding attendant so your baby can be a part of your special moment. I did the Peace Corps in Ethiopia and got to know the local strays who needed some extra love - that is what sparked my interest in furry animals. I became more involved with fur pets ten years ago when I started pet/house sitting for friends and family - it's also what made me want my own. Being a pet sitter and eventually having my own, has brought so much joy to my life. I treat each pet with the same attention and love I would want my Ralphie to be given. I have worked with puppies as young as 4 months, high energetic dogs who pull, senior dogs who require oral/injected medication, kittens as young as 5 months, and cats who are asthmatic. I’ve also worked with guinea pigs and fishes. I am eager to learn and continue working with diverse clients with varying levels of need/care.

Andrea is exceptionally professional, and she was very clear and communicative throughout the booking process and stay. We appreciated all the check-ins, pictures of June (especially the great action shots of her zoomies!), and all the time Andrea spent outside with June, letting her get excercise and enjoy the sun. We came home to a very relaxed and happy dog!
