In the owners home or with the pets, I would strictly follow their guidelines regarding their pet. I would also provide them updates, as well as many pictures and videos of their pets to make them feel more comfortable. If I have any questions during the visit, I will not hesitate to message the owners and ask. I have my own vehicle, so if there ever was an emergency I would be able to transport your pet to the vet.

A typical day
I believe play time is essential to the well-being of cats and dogs. I enjoy keeping the pets stimulated through long walks and playing with their favorite toys. When walking them, I like to take dogs on walks in their neighborhood or in nearby parks.

Pet care experience
I have lots of experience with both cats and dogs. I was very active with dog walking, dog sitting, and cat sitting these past few sunmers. Over the summers, I had regular clients that I walked with every week and multiple times a day. My experience with dogs ranges from puppies all the way to senior dogs! I also have some experience with caring for dogs with various health issues. I had a week-long stay with two senior dogs that required medication, physical help around the house, and frequent diaper changes. I am also friends with a family that has a dog I have known for about 6 years, ever since it was a puppy. I have pet sit for the dog many times, playing with him, feeding him and taking him for walks. Along with that experience with dogs, I have experience with living with and caring for cats. My roommate's cat suffers from anxiety, so I learned how to read his cues and understand the cat in order to make sure he was okay. I often had to feed the cat, as my roommate has a very busy class schedule. The cat frequently threw up if he ate too fast and I would immediately check on the cat, clean up the mess and inform his owner in case she wanted me to take additional steps. I also have experience with cats and dogs that are visually and/or hearing impaired. I am always very communicative with the pet owners and make sure I take many pictures and/or videos of their fur babies! :)

Kharrington was great! She followed all of the directions I left for my shy cat, made sure she was fed, and gave her attention with pets and brushing during the check-ins. I felt comfortable knowing my cat was being cared for while I was away. I would definitely use Kharrington again!
Fantastic! Great pics, responsive, flexible when our schedule changed, and made us feel comfortable that our 3 cats were in good hands while we were gone for 10 days. 100% recommend!
