About: I am a preschool teacher and I began pet sitting for some parents roughly 4 years ago! I care for dogs of all ages, I've fostered newborn puppies and my dog is a senior that turns 20 in July. I even cared for pets over quarantine! Trust me when I say I will never let a pet go without proper care and attention. I currently have two cats, Jasper and Sybil, and I like to tell people that they're practically my biological children because that's what it feels like! Nashely initially approached Kiki so delicately, and she has such a calm and caring presence. Kiki immediately approached her and, to our surprise, during the week we were gone, Kiki became so affectionate and comfortable around her. Nashely is great with pets, respectful of property, very communicative and trustworthy. We don't want to recommend her because we don't want anyone else to book her when we need her! About: I have had two dogs and one cat: an 11-year-old Bichon Frise, a Chihuahua who passed away at 17, and a cat who is now four and a half years old. I got my first dog when I was 11 years old, and from then on, I spent all of my allowance on my pets’ spay/neuter surgeries, routine checkups, treats, and supplements. I have an unusual amount of patience when it comes to animals, because I grew up in a family that truly loves them. I also have a lot of experience caring for very young pets under two months old, as well as experience being around large dogs. My work schedule is three days in the office and two days remote, so I have plenty of time to do the part time job during the week. When I take care of pets, I focus not only on their physical needs, but also on making sure they feel emotionally cared for. I like to keep a regular routine for them every day, including dedicated playtime and treat time. I also often buy them new toys and talk to them about my day, even though they may not fully understand.

I am also very organized and reliable, and I make sure to follow instructions carefully so each pet feels safe, loved, and cared for. I recently moved to Atlanta for my husband’s work, so I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available during the week and on weekends for dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. Because my schedule is open right now, I am able to offer reliable and attentive care at different times of the day. Once I begin a full-time job, my availability may change to more part-time care, but I will always keep my schedule updated and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to. I live in a two-bedroom apartment with access to a dog park, so I can provide a comfortable and pet-friendly environment for dogs in my care. I am happy to care for your dog either in my space or in your home, depending on what works best for you and what helps your dog feel most comfortable. When caring for pets in your home, I always make sure to follow their normal routine and any instructions provided, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and any house rules. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, loved, and as comfortable as possible while you are away. I will also always provide regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured and connected to your pet.

My dog can't be around other animals or kenneled/locked in rooms so I have been hesitant to board him, but Jalissa completely put my mind at ease. She was very communicative, adamant about understanding his needs, and constantly sent photos showing that he was hanging with her while she worked or playing with him at the house, and of the long walks they went on. I very quickly trusted that Tucker was in good hands and was able to relax and enjoy my weekend. Absolutely recommend her - especially if you have an anxious baby or a dog that needs individual attention.”
