About: My pet care experience comes from raising my own Pomeranians over the past couple of years, plus caring for a range of small and medium dogs and cats owned by family and friends. I have hands-on experience with walking, feeding, and grooming, and I'm comfortable adapting my approach to different breeds, sizes, and personalities. Since I'm currently in the process of applying to grad school, I spend most of my time working from home. That gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability, so I can easily fit boarding into my week and give pets the attention they need. I live in an apartment near a dog park, giving pets plenty of room to explore and play. My two Pomeranians are friendly and social, so your pet will have built-in companionship during their stay. I provide a play pen along with toys for entertainment, and I like to prepare homemade food, such as a broth made with meat, carrots, and pumpkin, for a comforting, home-cooked touch.

About: My senior dog passed away after we shared 18 wonderful years together. I know how much your family members mean to you. I will ensure my time with them will be fun and show care and love as if they were my own. I'm retired and have plenty of time on my hands. One reason for pursuing this opportunity is to get more involved and out of the house. I currently have only my little Percy - he's strictly an indoor cat with his routine - early am feedings and lots of sleep during the day. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats (often at the same time) since I was old enough to hold the leash and walk with one of my childhood family pups Hershey on my own. My spouse (Paroma) and I have fostered and rescued dogs and cats of all ages and sizes -- from rambunctious puppies and kittens to senior fospice (foster hospice) cats and dogs -- since 2018. We currently have a Pitty-mix (Mako) our long-legged Jack Russell terrier/Chihuahua/Corgi (Boris) and a sweet orange cat named Cathulu (or Cat, for short). Our animal care philosophy is simple: when your animal is with us, I (we) ensure they know they're loved, well-fed, and have plenty of play time, walks, and/or good company, no matter where they are. I am currently available for full time dog/cat sitting (our house boarding or in your house overnights), in-house/apartment visits, walks, play time, or anything besides certified training and grooming. I am available all seven calendar days in the week. I have a fenced yard, two sweet dogs and a cat to keep your creature company. If your dog or cat prefers their own space, I will absolutely ensure they have it in our home. When we schedule an appointment, I will gladly schedule a complimentary "meet and greet" for your pet(s) and I to get to know each other. During our "meet and greet," I'll ask you all of the questions related to your lovely pet's care. No "special need" or "quirk" will surprise me, so please feel free to share anything and everything with me as we meet and greet. I would be honored to take care of your sweet pet. They're family: they deserved to be treated like it.

About: Hello! I grew up in New Jersey and have called Georgia home for the last 8 years. As early as I can remember, I’ve loved being around animals of all shapes and sizes. I bond easily with most animals because I am a kind, calm, and confident person. My friends call it a nurturing spirit because countless times I have been to a gathering or party and someone's pet decided that I was their new best friend. When I started living on my own in Atlanta, I decided it was time to adopt my first pets as an adult. I adopted two seniors who still had so much love to share. Their names were Brittanica (the cat) and Roberta (the dog). Both were diagnosed with chronic illnesses that required IV fluids and maintenance medications that had to be given on particular schedules. With advice from their care team, I made sure that each interaction for treatment was a positive experience. Sometimes I pulled out all the stops with treats, bundling them in a blanket, and setting up a soothing environment. If your pet requires such treatments, written notes would be appreciated so I can reference the process as much as possible. My current pets are younger than my first two and keep me on my toes! We have a lot of fluffy fun as Stellaluna is a sweetheart, longhaired domestic cat and Sir Waddles Von Wigglebutt is a very friendly, laid back corgi. We have a good routine where the first thing we do when we wake up is pre-breakfast cuddle time! There have been times where we’ve needed to be flexible and eat breakfast first though. My day-to-day is structured so that I can get steps in with Waddles and I can set up enrichment activities for his working dog nature. Often you’ll see us with the Atlanta Corgi group so he can be a social butterfly. If the weather isn’t great or I have a deadline to meet at work, he’ll stay home and do puzzles. Other hobbies that fit in my schedule include playing DND or board games, doing dog training classes with Waddles, and watching TV with Stella. When it comes to taking care of your pets, I will make sure that we keep to the routine they’re most familiar with too! We’ll do videos and pics as much as we can during the visit. My goal with each visit is that your pet is treated well and feels like they’re getting their own vacation even though they’ll be missing you. I work in the film industry in post production and I work remotely from home. I will have plenty of time to play and check on your furry friend for scheduled appointments. When I do not have an active contract, I enjoy taking longer walks and playing with your pet extra with your pet. To guarantee more than 30 minutes of play time, please book my 60 min visits. Safety is a top priority when I am taking care of animals. Regardless of how well trained a pet is, they are animals and are unpredictable at times. For that reason, when walking your dog, I will make sure that it is on leash unless we are in your fenced yard. If your dog is staying over with me, a crate is necessary so they have their own space where they’re safe when I’m not home. I do have a cat so if your dog is not cat friendly, we will not be able to work together. I believe in strong communication and transparency. While with your fuzzy friend, I will send you updates and photos through the app!

I take one family at a time, so your dog gets the whole house, the fenced yard, and all my attention. Siblings welcome, they stay together. I have no dog of my own, so there’s no resident pup to compete with, and no crates or kennel noise either. Send me your routine, food, meds, potty schedule, and I’ll keep it. Photos and a real update every day. Happy to meet first. I work from home, so your dog isn’t alone all day. Mornings start with a walk before I log on, then they hang around with me while I work, with yard breaks through the day. Another real walk in the evening, dinner on your dog’s normal schedule, and bed wherever they’re most comfortable. Weekends are slower with more yard time. I only accept dates I know I’m home for, so if I take your booking, I’m here. My place is a normal house with a securely fenced backyard, and I walk the fence line and check the gate before every stay. Dogs stay inside with me, not in a garage or a crate, unless yours prefers a crate and you bring it. I host one family at a time, so there are no strange dogs in the mix and no group play to manage. I’ll make sure I have details on feeding, meds, vet info, and anything that sets your dog off. Leash on any time we leave the yard. If something seems off, you hear from me right away, and I’ll get to your vet or the nearest emergency clinic if it can’t wait. I ask that dogs are current on vaccines and flea prevention.

I will NOT go to dog parks until I know your dog very well- your pets safety always comes first. (Of course, everything is adjusted to your dog’s age, health and energy level) • Mental enrichment. Brain-stimulation toys, snuffle mats, treat puzzles, lick mats, playtime and other activities based on what your dog enjoys. • I work from home. I’ll be with your dog throughout their stay, with plenty of company, attention, cuddles, playtime and supervision. • Peace of mind for you. You’ll receive regular photos and updates throughout their stay, so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. • Just bring your dog! I provide everything needed for a comfortable stay: a spacious kennel, food & water bowls, toys, enrichment activities and treats, plus basic kibble if ever needed in a pinch. You’re of course always welcome to bring their favorite bed or toys from home; I just ask that you provide their usual food to keep their routine and diet consistent. I pride myself on offering a true dog retreat. Fair warning: your dog might not want to come home! 🐾😂 I work from home and am home about 90% of the time, which means your dog will have plenty of company, walks, playtime and attention throughout the day. I do occasionally step out for errands, groceries or a workout class. During those times, as well as overnight, your dog will be safely kenneled. For this reason, I can only accept dogs who are fully crate-trained and comfortable settling in their crate. I take this job incredibly serious. I know that for many of us, our dogs aren’t “just pets” - they’re family and often quite literally our babies 🐶❤️ I am First Aid/CPR certified and own a dog first aid kit. After every boarding visit I thoroughly clean and sanitize the space and toys with non-toxic cleaning supplies. Your pups safety, comfort and happiness always come first!
