About: My senior dog passed away after we shared 18 wonderful years together. I know how much your family members mean to you. I will ensure my time with them will be fun and show care and love as if they were my own. I'm retired and have plenty of time on my hands. One reason for pursuing this opportunity is to get more involved and out of the house. I currently have only my little Percy - he's strictly an indoor cat with his routine - early am feedings and lots of sleep during the day. I love to walk and enjoy having a pal to share the time outside. I do miss my dog, our daily walks are where I hold very fond memories. She loved to bring sticks home and place them in the yard. About: Hello! I grew up in New Jersey and have called Georgia home for the last 8 years. As early as I can remember, I’ve loved being around animals of all shapes and sizes. I bond easily with most animals because I am a kind, calm, and confident person. My friends call it a nurturing spirit because countless times I have been to a gathering or party and someone's pet decided that I was their new best friend. When I started living on my own in Atlanta, I decided it was time to adopt my first pets as an adult. I adopted two seniors who still had so much love to share. Their names were Brittanica (the cat) and Roberta (the dog). Both were diagnosed with chronic illnesses that required IV fluids and maintenance medications that had to be given on particular schedules. With advice from their care team, I made sure that each interaction for treatment was a positive experience. Sometimes I pulled out all the stops with treats, bundling them in a blanket, and setting up a soothing environment. If your pet requires such treatments, written notes would be appreciated so I can reference the process as much as possible. My current pets are younger than my first two and keep me on my toes! We have a lot of fluffy fun as Stellaluna is a sweetheart, longhaired domestic cat and Sir Waddles Von Wigglebutt is a very friendly, laid back corgi. We have a good routine where the first thing we do when we wake up is pre-breakfast cuddle time! There have been times where we’ve needed to be flexible and eat breakfast first though. My day-to-day is structured so that I can get steps in with Waddles and I can set up enrichment activities for his working dog nature. Often you’ll see us with the Atlanta Corgi group so he can be a social butterfly. If the weather isn’t great or I have a deadline to meet at work, he’ll stay home and do puzzles. Other hobbies that fit in my schedule include playing DND or board games, doing dog training classes with Waddles, and watching TV with Stella. When it comes to taking care of your pets, I will make sure that we keep to the routine they’re most familiar with too! We’ll do videos and pics as much as we can during the visit. My goal with each visit is that your pet is treated well and feels like they’re getting their own vacation even though they’ll be missing you. I work in the film industry in post production and I work remotely from home. I will have plenty of time to play and check on your furry friend for scheduled appointments. When I do not have an active contract, I enjoy taking longer walks and playing with your pet extra with your pet. To guarantee more than 30 minutes of play time, please book my 60 min visits. Safety is a top priority when I am taking care of animals. Regardless of how well trained a pet is, they are animals and are unpredictable at times. For that reason, when walking your dog, I will make sure that it is on leash unless we are in your fenced yard. If your dog is staying over with me, a crate is necessary so they have their own space where they’re safe when I’m not home. I do have a cat so if your dog is not cat friendly, we will not be able to work together. I believe in strong communication and transparency. While with your fuzzy friend, I will send you updates and photos through the app!

“Misty is awesome! She took such wonderful care of our girl and sent lots of adorable photos and updates. I never had to wonder how things were going. Murphy always looked happy and Misty’s pup Kiyah was the perfect playmate for her. Misty walked Murph everyday and made sure she had lots of outside time (her favorite). She even got out a doggy pool for splashing around. Our flight home was delayed multiple times and Misty was incredible accommodating. Can’t recommend her enough!”
“So this is my first REAL time using ROVER and if all the sitters are like Oladapo then Rover is gonna make a ton of money. Oladapo was kind, accommodating, flexible and made me not feel horrible that I was leaving my dog to go on vacation because he was gonna love on my dog the same way I do. The pictures and video he gave me while I was away definitely helped. This guy is the definition of SERVICE WITH A SMILE. He picked up my crate and food and leash from my car and carried it to his apartment and I didmt lift a finger. When you add on that his services are priced reasonably compared to other sitters, Oladapo is a great choice when looking for a sitter”

“Marissa did a great job watching my weirdo dogs! I was a little nervous at first about how they’d get along with her dog, Zoe, but after a quick pack walk they were all playing happily in the backyard. Zoe is super well-behaved and clearly used to being around other dogs, which made everything go really smoothly. She also sent me a picture and an update during the day, which I really appreciated. My pups came home tired and ready for a nap… a sign of a good day! Highly recommend!”
