“My dog is always happy and tired after going to stay with Hope, and very happy to arrive. Hope is very fast to respond to messages and always sends photos. The yard is amazing!”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats (often at the same time) since I was old enough to hold the leash and walk with one of my childhood family pups Hershey on my own. My spouse (Paroma) and I have fostered and rescued dogs and cats of all ages and sizes -- from rambunctious puppies and kittens to senior fospice (foster hospice) cats and dogs -- since 2018. We currently have a Pitty-mix (Mako) our long-legged Jack Russell terrier/Chihuahua/Corgi (Boris) and a sweet orange cat named Cathulu (or Cat, for short). Our animal care philosophy is simple: when your animal is with us, I (we) ensure they know they're loved, well-fed, and have plenty of play time, walks, and/or good company, no matter where they are. I am currently available for full time dog/cat sitting (our house boarding or in your house overnights), in-house/apartment visits, walks, play time, or anything besides certified training and grooming. I am available all seven calendar days in the week. I have a fenced yard, two sweet dogs and a cat to keep your creature company. If your dog or cat prefers their own space, I will absolutely ensure they have it in our home. When we schedule an appointment, I will gladly schedule a complimentary "meet and greet" for your pet(s) and I to get to know each other. During our "meet and greet," I'll ask you all of the questions related to your lovely pet's care. No "special need" or "quirk" will surprise me, so please feel free to share anything and everything with me as we meet and greet. I would be honored to take care of your sweet pet. They're family: they deserved to be treated like it.
“Luis is great. Brumble, our Beagle, can be timid with new people, yet he clearly trusted Luis and enjoyed his time in his care, as well as having a great time relaxing and playing with Luis’ pup. Definitely recommend!”

“Alannah H is absolutely wonderful with my fur child Yana. She treats Yana as if she is her own. I constantly get photos and communications regarding Yana. It is a relief to know that I found someone that I can just and someone that treats my fur child as if she was her own. Thank you Alannah!”

About: Hi, I’m Ricardo. I grew up with dogs and had my own for 22 years, so this is second nature to me. I take one family at a time, so your dog gets the whole house, the fenced yard, and all my attention. Siblings welcome, they stay together. I have no dog of my own, so there’s no resident pup to compete with, and no crates or kennel noise either. Send me your routine, food, meds, potty schedule, and I’ll keep it. Photos and a real update every day. Happy to meet first. I work from home, so your dog isn’t alone all day. Mornings start with a walk before I log on, then they hang around with me while I work, with yard breaks through the day. Another real walk in the evening, dinner on your dog’s normal schedule, and bed wherever they’re most comfortable. Weekends are slower with more yard time. I only accept dates I know I’m home for, so if I take your booking, I’m here. My place is a normal house with a securely fenced backyard, and I walk the fence line and check the gate before every stay. Dogs stay inside with me, not in a garage or a crate, unless yours prefers a crate and you bring it. I host one family at a time, so there are no strange dogs in the mix and no group play to manage. I’ll make sure I have details on feeding, meds, vet info, and anything that sets your dog off. Leash on any time we leave the yard. If something seems off, you hear from me right away, and I’ll get to your vet or the nearest emergency clinic if it can’t wait. I ask that dogs are current on vaccines and flea prevention.
“This was my first time using Rover and leaving my puppy Amos with someone new. Samma made me feel very comfortable by telling me about the other dogs in the home, introducing Amos to the dogs one-by-one, and sending me updates throughout the day. Amos had a great time and we are looking forward to our next day of day-care with Samma and Ricard!”

About: I grew up with a sweet dachshund and have been a dog-lover ever since! Andrew and I both work from home full time, and that makes us the go-to pet sitter for neighbors and friends. We’ve had experience with both active dogs and those that might need a little more care and patience. We love having a new friend around to keep us company! We both work fully remote jobs and therefore can give your fur-baby all the attention they may need! We always aim to go out at least 4 times a day, but can adhere to your pet’s specific schedule. We offer flexible boarding availability throughout the week and weekends. For any weekend bookings, we do ask that your pet be comfortable being alone for at least a couple of hours since there may be instances where we will be out of the house running errands. While we don’t currently have any pets of our own, our pet-friendly apartment will cater to your furry friend’s comfort. We live on the Beltline making it the perfect setting for long walks or quick potty breaks. We’re more than happy to accommodate your pet’s needs, whether it is crating them or something else.
“Laura took great care of my puppy Clover. From booking to pickup her communication was prompt and clear. She sent me video and photo updates throughout the day and was flexible with my schedule. I felt like she treated him like her own! I will definitely book with Laura again and would recommend her to anyone!”

About: Hello! I grew up in New Jersey and have called Georgia home for the last 8 years. As early as I can remember, I’ve loved being around animals of all shapes and sizes. I bond easily with most animals because I am a kind, calm, and confident person. My friends call it a nurturing spirit because countless times I have been to a gathering or party and someone's pet decided that I was their new best friend. When I started living on my own in Atlanta, I decided it was time to adopt my first pets as an adult. I adopted two seniors who still had so much love to share. Their names were Brittanica (the cat) and Roberta (the dog). Both were diagnosed with chronic illnesses that required IV fluids and maintenance medications that had to be given on particular schedules. With advice from their care team, I made sure that each interaction for treatment was a positive experience. Sometimes I pulled out all the stops with treats, bundling them in a blanket, and setting up a soothing environment. If your pet requires such treatments, written notes would be appreciated so I can reference the process as much as possible. My current pets are younger than my first two and keep me on my toes! We have a lot of fluffy fun as Stellaluna is a sweetheart, longhaired domestic cat and Sir Waddles Von Wigglebutt is a very friendly, laid back corgi. We have a good routine where the first thing we do when we wake up is pre-breakfast cuddle time! There have been times where we’ve needed to be flexible and eat breakfast first though. My day-to-day is structured so that I can get steps in with Waddles and I can set up enrichment activities for his working dog nature. Often you’ll see us with the Atlanta Corgi group so he can be a social butterfly. If the weather isn’t great or I have a deadline to meet at work, he’ll stay home and do puzzles. Other hobbies that fit in my schedule include playing DND or board games, doing dog training classes with Waddles, and watching TV with Stella. When it comes to taking care of your pets, I will make sure that we keep to the routine they’re most familiar with too! We’ll do videos and pics as much as we can during the visit. My goal with each visit is that your pet is treated well and feels like they’re getting their own vacation even though they’ll be missing you. I work in the film industry in post production and I work remotely from home. I will have plenty of time to play and check on your furry friend for scheduled appointments. When I do not have an active contract, I enjoy taking longer walks and playing with your pet extra with your pet. To guarantee more than 30 minutes of play time, please book my 60 min visits. Safety is a top priority when I am taking care of animals. Regardless of how well trained a pet is, they are animals and are unpredictable at times. For that reason, when walking your dog, I will make sure that it is on leash unless we are in your fenced yard. If your dog is staying over with me, a crate is necessary so they have their own space where they’re safe when I’m not home. I do have a cat so if your dog is not cat friendly, we will not be able to work together. I believe in strong communication and transparency. While with your fuzzy friend, I will send you updates and photos through the app!
About: I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I do my best to provide the same level of care and attention I would want for my own pets. I've cared for many dogs and cats with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I pay close attention to body language and behavior, which helps me understand when a pet wants to play, needs space, or is feeling anxious. Whether your pet is outgoing or shy, my goal is to build trust, keep them comfortable, and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I work from home most of the time and have a flexible schedule, which means plenty of attention for your pet. My Border Collie loves having furry guests, and they’ll enjoy frequent potty breaks in the shared backyard, daily walks, and playtime at the community dog park located right behind my unit. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a clean, pet-friendly environment with close supervision throughout the day. I follow each pet's routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for.
“I loveeeeeeeddd Josh! I was so nervous to leave my dog with someone other than family but Josh quickly became family for Saint. He sent constant updates with pictures and videos of Saint playing with friends and running around the yard. It helped me stay calm during the stay. I can't wait to send him back over there with his new friends. Thank you again so much Josh!”

“Thank you for taking such good care of our E. We were visiting for 3 days and were fortunate to find her . Audrey gave him extra walks since she felt he liked them so much . She made sure to play with him and to make sure he ate as well. She waited up for us and allowed a late pick up so we could attend our basketball game as well !”

“My dog, Louie had a great day at day care with Kristen and Jason. It was a quick and easy pick up and drop off, I got several picture updates throughout the day as well. They were easy to communicate with and my puppy is excited for his next visit!”

About: Hello! I am a lifelong dog lover and experienced pet parent who recently transitioned into the empty-nest phase of life. While I currently don't have a dog of my own, my home is a quiet, pet-free sanctuary ready to welcome your pup with open arms. Because I don't have other pets, your dog will be my only guest. This means they will receive 100% of my love, undivided attention, and personalized care throughout their stay. My home is their home—if they are used to lounging on the furniture or curling up on the sofa for a nap, they are more than welcome to do so here! I live in a wonderful, walkable area of Decatur right near beautiful parks and paths. Being an active person, I love getting outside and am happy to tailor exercise to your dog's specific needs. Whether your pup is an adventurer who loves long, brisk walks, or a senior friend who prefers a leisurely stroll—or even a relaxing ride in a pet stroller—I am fully equipped to make sure they get their fresh air and sunshine. Beyond the walks and play, I am experienced in administering medication and ensuring your pet stays on their regular schedule. My goal is to provide a stress-free environment where your dog feels safe, adored, and right at home. I would love to meet your pup and help them have a wonderful, fun, and comfortable stay! My Daily Routine: Dedicated Time for Your Pup As a retired professional and local artist, my daily schedule is flexible, consistent, and centered around the home. Because I work from my home studio, I am able to provide a stable, low-stress environment where your dog is rarely left alone. How your pet fits into my day: Consistent Supervision: My routine is predictable, which is wonderful for pets who thrive on stability. Your dog will have a companion throughout the day, whether I am working on a painting, organizing my studio, or relaxing. Active Lifestyle Integration: I am an early riser and highly active. Our day typically includes morning and afternoon outings to the nearby parks and walking paths, ensuring your pup gets plenty of mental stimulation and fresh air. Prioritizing Your Routine: I believe the best care maintains the routine your dog is already used to. During our first meeting, we will discuss their feeding times, nap preferences, and favorite activities so I can mirror their home schedule as closely as possible. Dedicated Quality Time: Since my studio work allows for frequent breaks, I make it a point to break up the day with focused play sessions, grooming, or just quiet time on the sofa. Your dog will never be a "visitor"—they will be my constant companion while I am home. My art studio is a calm and creative space, and your dog is welcome to lounge nearby while I work!" How I ensure your dog’s safety and happiness: Proactive Outdoor Time: Instead of relying on a yard, I am dedicated to frequent, high-quality walks and active playtime throughout the day. We will hit the local parks and paths regularly, ensuring your dog gets plenty of fresh air, exercise, and the mental stimulation that comes with exploring new sights and smells. The Screened-In Porch Oasis: My home features a comfortable, secure screened-in porch that serves as a perfect "outdoor room." It is a favorite spot for many pups to enjoy the breeze, safely watch the neighborhood birds and squirrels, or simply relax in the sunshine without being directly exposed to the elements or other animals. Safety First: I am highly vigilant about pet safety. Whether we are on a walk or lounging in the house, your dog is always under my direct supervision. I maintain a clean, pet-safe studio and home environment, ensuring that all items are stored away and that the space is clutter-free for your pup’s comfort. Constant Connection: Because I work from home, I am always available to provide comfort, monitor your dog’s health, and respond immediately to their needs. You can rest easy knowing that your pet is in a secure, loving, and monitored environment at all times.

“Kyra took amazing care of my pup. She shared timely updates with lots of cute pictures. I felt totally at ease knowing my pup was in such good and caring hands. Highly recommend her.”

“Mikaela is wonderful! Excellent communication and was so sweet with our boy, Roddy. I love that she has toys/bed to make pups more comfortable and a big fenced in back yard for play. So happy to have found you, Mikaela!”

Alannah H is absolutely wonderful with my fur child Yana. She treats Yana as if she is her own. I constantly get photos and communications regarding Yana. It is a relief to know that I found someone that I can just and someone that treats my fur child as if she was her own. Thank you Alannah!

Patricia was super accommodating and caring to Cheddar We were in a pinch to find a sitter at the last minute and Patricia helped us. She loves doggies and kept us informed on how Cheddar was doing thru out the day and evening. Cheddar gives her 5 paws ! (5 out of 5). I highly recommend Patricia.

Our sweet Golden loves Hope so much! She was amazing for Daycare services during our kitchen renovation, and now we take him once a week just so he can get some extra love during long work weeks! We highly recommend Hope and we know that our doggie is well taken care of and loved whenever he is there!

Sarah was wonderful with our dog, Rocco. It was his first time being away from us and he spent most of the day snuggling with Sarah! She was so sweet and kind with him, and I felt totally comfortable leaving him with her. We look forward to having her watch Rocco again!

I can’t recommend Daishell enough! It’s always nerve-wracking leaving my dog behind, but she made it so easy. I got regular updates and photos, and it was clear my pup was having at good time. I returned to a very happy dog. We will definitely be booking her again!

Audrey was a wonderful and caring sitter for our Jolie while my husband had a doctor's appointment nearby. It was our first time using Audrey but we set up a meet and greet by video in advance. I wouldn't hesitate to have our fur baby stay with Audrey again.
