Danelle B.

“Danelle was helpful + adaptable with her visit as she took time beforehand to watch a video I sent on how to use a gentle leader to walk our dog instead of a harness. We appreciated that!”

“Loren did a great job taking care of Maya! Will definitely be a repeat customer.”

Graham W.

“Graham was great with everything (especially Leo)! From getting to my apartment and navigating the nuances of an apartment complex, to handling Leo who can sometimes be a handful (barking, pulling, etc.) with the busy, noisy streets of a city on a nice day! He sent a couple pictures of my sweet boy, and communicated his arrival and departure to and from the apartment- all super appreciated. One hundred percent will be booking Graham again for more walks during the day while I’m away.”

Laurel J.

“We <3 Laurel!! I have an dog aggressive pittie and I'm a nervous wreck when leaving him in anyone else's care incase something bad happened. I am extremely picky when it comes to who I let care for him, and Laurel is amazing! I booked her weekly for over 6 weeks for walks and always had peace of mind that he would have the best time. Overall, a great experience! Thank you again!”

Michael J.
“Growing up, Mike and I always had dogs....sometimes ones that he and I found as strays. He has has several larger dog breeds as an adult, and they have always had long healthy lives. Mike really enjoys hiking and having a four legged companion with him will provide the dog with exercise and necessary stimulation. Being retired allows Mike to be flexible with his scheduling and allows for a wider range of availability. I personally have used Rover for my dogs, and feel that Mike will make an excellent walker/sitter.”

Andrea S.

“Andrea is our go-to person from now on! She took on our "problem child" and met the challenge. She is relaxed around Andrea and even behaves for her. Will hire her again and again. Minka approved.”

Olivia C.
“Olivia takes such great care of my golden retriever Sandy whenever I ask her to! She is so kind to offer drop in visits when I can’t get home to let Sandy out in time. Recently, I witnessed Olivia drive 4 hours to dog sit for one of her neighbors from her hometown! She is very dedicated and will take such great care of your animals. As a pet mom herself, you can trust that she will love on your animals as well as her own.”

James G.
About: I’ve been a dog owner of many different breeds, ages, and sizes since a kid. Dogs are my absolute favorite animal on the planet! I have done petsitting (overnights, walks, socializing, some basic training, bathing/grooming) for friends and coworkers. I also love cats as well and while I can’t board them, I’m more than happy to do drop-in visits while you’re away! I’ve also been fostering off and on since 2003, with dogs of various ages, breeds, and personality types. I took dog training classes in 2004 and have used those training fundamentals along with others I’ve learned from professionals since. I am able to present and maintain alpha status with dogs and packs, and understand how important routine, consistency, reward, and attention are to keeping dogs healthy and happy from a behavioral perspective. I have extensive experience with puppies, crate training, house training, basic commands, leash training, senior dogs, and dogs with medical needs. My two senior rescue pups both passed away from cancer and heart disease in 2020, and I got a lot of experience tending to their medical, physical, emotional and mental needs. I am very capable of managing and administering meds, as well as taking vitals such as heart and respiration rate. I LOVE PUPPIES but who doesn’t! I have a puppy play pen and keep enrichment and teething toys on hand for little ones. I’ve also volunteered and fostered with several rescues in the Atlanta area. I work from home full-time and have one dog, Truvy (a 2 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel). Our routines are really intertwined from the moment we get up, go on our walks, to how we take breaks to go outside during the day. I literally pad my work meeting schedule so I have time between meetings to make sure she gets to go out, walk around, play etc. This routine and pet care is easy for me to share with other dogs. I have a fenced in yard which is big enough for running around, playing with my dog, solid games of fetch. Dogs are allowed free run of the house, but may be restricted from some rooms if they have any issues with house-training or chewing. The door to my fenced-in back yard has a storm door with a doggy door big enough for dogs up to 80 lbs. if appropriate, dogs are free to come and go outside as they please, but I personally don’t like for my dog to be outside too long unsupervised, so I make sure to check on her and other dogs often. Dogs can have their own dedicated bed space or a crate if that’s what they prefer; I will allow dogs on the bed if they aren’t too disruptive while sleeping. I have a giant basket of toys of all types, as well as a basket of tennis balls and outside toys. My dogs have always had free run of the house (allowed on the furniture and in the bed), once they’ve been properly trained and earned that trust to treat and see it as their own space too. I fully support crate training if that’s what your dog needs and I have a few crates of different sizes from my years of fostering. If your dog needs a safe room to decompress and ease into their stay, I have a spare “doggo” bedroom that can be all their own with a bed or crate, blankets, toys, and bowls for food and water. When I have dogs staying over, I feed them all in separate spaces so there’s no anxiety or need to guard food. I live in a quaint residential neighborhood that’s perfect for dog walks! If you want your dog to get some social play time at a dog park, I can do that as well as long as I have a good sense of how your dog behaves or reacts in those situations (for your dog’s safety and the safety of others—there are a lot of irresponsible and inexperienced dog owners at dog parks). They will get plenty of love and attention (if that’s their thing) and my dog Truvy is great with other dogs. She’s very submissive to all dogs and once she feels comfortable with another dog, she will want to be best buds. We’ll do some indoor play and enrichment while they’re here too! I’m happy to tend to any bathing or grooming during your pet’s stay as well. I want this to feel like home for your dog.
