I was very concerned about our little rescue being with too many other dogs since he hasn’t been off leash with more than one since we’ve had him and it was so amazing to find such loving and experienced dog owners who happened to not have a dog of their own at home right now. I loved that they had their undivided attention to give to our pup. They were so attentive to detail and didn’t seem to mind when I showed up with so many of his things! I didn’t have to ask for updates or photos- they readily sent a few check-ins and multiple pics daily. They have an incredible back yard- super spacious and grassy and flat and they also took him on walks daily as well. The most amazing thing was that he ate and slept well when with them! In the 8 months we’ve had Niko he hasn’t eaten at all on the days we travel - I believe it shows how comfortable and well-taken care of he was with Audrey and Isaiah and I am so grateful. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life growing up. I’ve help train the family dogs. I watch my sisters and friends dogs when they are going out of town too. I work full time 8 mins away from my apartment. I would be able to come home for an hour during my lunch break. I don’t leave until 8 in the morning and I’m back before 5 most days. I’m free on the weekends to board overnight. My apartment has a balcony but it will only be me and the pet at my place. I’m the only one who has a key.

About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and have a deep love for both dogs and cats. I’ve owned four dogs over the years and currently have three rescue pups of my own—including one foster “fail” (lesson learned: don’t foster puppies 😊). I’ve taken basic dog training classes and have worked with trainers over the years, so I’m comfortable handling different personalities, energy levels, and behaviors. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal like they’re my own—with patience, care, and lots of love. Thanks! **during the fall semester (Aug 24-Dec 13), I am on campus for 8 hours on Tuesday and Thursday. Those days dogs get a 15 min break midday while I am away from my dog sitter. I work from home most of the time. I am usually not away from home for more than 4 hours. During the fall semester, I am away on T/R for about 8 hours a day. I have a large fenced yard and 3 dogs at home. Two of my dogs are seniors and one is almost 3 years old with lots of playful energy. I also have a large finished attic space that I use for doggy play, especially when it's super hot/cold outside.

I take note of food and other allergies while making sure they get as many cuddles as possible! My big dogs get me pumped with ball and frisbee throw, and I always include the smaller dogs with some fetch. When things wind down I’m all about a nice rub down. I believe all dogs need a nice balance of upbeat moments, as well as some mellow moments. So, depending on length of stay, I like to include “nap time”. It’s a perfect time for the dogs to settle down and listen to some calming music and just relax. I have found these things to be very effective with my own dogs. Every puppy that I had obtained in my childhood I taught the basic and advanced commands as well as socialization skills. For cats, I raised them after they separated from their mothers. I am currently focusing full time on pet (dog or cat) care! I am available Sunday through Sunday to care for your needs as well as your furry friend or friends! Daily, I would be able to take your furry friend to the dog park, around the city, vet appointments, and more! They will be more than comfortable as being a temporary addition to my little family as well! I always visit my local Dollar General to stock up on important treats, toys, leashes, doggy bags, doggy training pads, bowls, and more for your pets. I have all the essential equipment and a private space for your pets to enjoy and settle into my personal home. For visits in your home, I will make sure to leave everything as it was left. I will follow all of the schedules and rules that are in your place to ensure a smooth environment for your animals!
About: I have had cats and dogs since I was a child and have fostered and cared for several dogs to find them furever homes. I am currently owned by 3 cats. I have a flexible schedule to care for your pet. I love both dogs and cats and look forward to meeting your furbabies and caring for them.
