My workday sometimes starts as early as 4 AM — but that just gives me more time in the afternoons for extra playtime and walks, and maybe an extra snack or two 😄 I prefer evening drop-offs — it gives your dog a little extra time to settle into a new environment and get to know me and Pumpkin better. Let me know if your pup likes the park — Pumpkin is very social, and we love visiting the nearby dog park weekly. If you’re okay with this, we might even go on a little field trip! 🐶 I also make sure all introductions are slow and positive so every dog feels comfortable. Pumpkin does a great job of welcoming new friends to our home and gets along with dogs of all sizes and breeds, so if your dog is nervous or anxious, I’m confident she’ll help them come out of their shell! Please remember to provide a working leash and harness so I can feel confident that we won’t have any escapee artists on our hands 😝 For the safety of all dogs in my home, I ask that your dog is fully crate trained and that you provide a crate during the stay. This gives your dog a safe space in a new environment, helps them feel secure, sets boundaries when needed, and keeps everyone’s sanity intact 😄 It also gives me peace of mind knowing nothing can happen while I’m away — you wouldn’t leave a baby unattended at home, and I don’t intend to leave your fur baby that way either. I am a dog owner and have been one since I was 13 while also doing volunteer work at local shelters since I was 19. I prefer working with spayed/neutered pets, but it’s not a deal breaker. I’m also comfortable giving medications if needed. You’ll get updates and photos each visit so you know how your pet is doing. Since I don't have a yard and live in a townhome, I usually take out dogs every couple of hours especially if they are larger. My dog has his own vacation during the week so for boarding and daycare Monday through Thursday means your pup gets all my attention. Yay! My jobs allow for flexible schedule, working hybrid as well. It allows for plenty of breaks to take your dog outside for a walk and play. For house sitting, I will make sure to treat it with the upmost respect and care. In my own home, I live in a 2 story townhome ans although I don't have a yard, it means more walks around the neighborhood and being taken to the parks.

I am consistent with schedules along with adapting to each dog's personality, whether they are high energy and need long walks or if they are more on the calm side and enjoy just having company around. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and I find that they naturally warm up to me, so spending time with them feels more like a natural part of my day rather than a task. I focus on keeping things clean, consistent, comfortable for the pet, whether they’re in my home or theirs. I follow the owner’s routine very closely regarding to feeding, walks, and any specific care instructions, this way the pet doesn’t feel thrown off. I give them plenty of attention and care simultaneously matching their energy, whether they want to play or just relax. I’m also really aware of their behavior and make sure they’re feeling safe and settled. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space, keep everything clean, and send updates so they know their pet is doing well.

I love animals deeply and have previous experience pet sitting, providing attentive, patient, and loving care.
